Superb, beautiful environment, convenient transportation, free parking. The room is two bedrooms and one living room plus kitchen. Can live 6 people. You can cook by yourself. Buying 40 knives of ingredients can be enough for four people to eat for two to three days. Much better than eating outside. Very close to the Hmart Korean supermarket. Supermarket ingredients are very good.

My son had his small wedding at The Peacock Inn this past Sunday. It was an intimate luncheon for approximately 40 guests. From the moment we arrived, The Peacock Inn was attentive to our needs. The grounds outside were beautifully planted with flowers and assorted greenery. The dining area was so lovely with soft music playing in the background. The tented area, in the outside back of the inn, looked so beautiful and perfect for the walk down the aisle. After the service, the cocktail area, on the side of the premises was set with bistro style tables. The food was delicious and plentiful and the quartet on the porch, was such a lovely touch. Julie, our ”go to” was absolutely fabulous, as was her staff. 10 stars. I would highly recommend The Peacock Inn as a venue for a small gathering or lunch/dinner.

The location is very good, just across the street from Princeton University for shopping and dining, and it is convenient to walk to most buildings of the university, including the Art Museum (you must check in here, because of the rich collection, especially Chinese cultural relics, you should check in repeatedly). Check in to a 20% discount card for a restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast can also be discounted. It is a historic restaurant with good service. The hotel service is very good, but it is really a bit old, the bathtub is slippery when stepping into it, so I have to hold on to the railing. There are two blocks in the lobby, one without guests passing through. It is great to have a rest and talk about things. After leaving the room, sitting there with luggage and waiting for someone to fall asleep (jet lag) and no one would interfere.
We only had the experience with one room type, a large room with a balcony on the second floor. I know they have smaller rooms that might have been remodeled. But having said that this room we got was dirty (dead flies, spots on the carpet all over, coffee stains on a bathroom wallet ). The heating system is a built in electric heater, quite old and fairly noisy. You can see the room was not properly updated for a while, maybe never. The bed sheets, blanket, pillows all quite sub par. We only stayed one night so did not push for a room change because of that. But I recommend you look at the room before moving in if this is possible. While the bones of this property are amazing, it needs updating.
Nice stay for 2 business nights in August. Convenient location with plenty of parking. Lobby was clean and bright. Front desk staff was friendly and engaging. Room was clean and fresh and didn't have any unusual smells. The breakfast was really good. My only issue was the AC in the room which didn't work effectively. After responding to the manager's check-in email someone came and attended to the AC, but it did not work any better. This is probably the best BonVoy property in the area.
Poor first impressions. We showed up for a one night stay. First off the main door is broken and everyone has to squeeze thru. With luggage it’s a chore We arrive at the checkin desk to find an associate sitting behind on her phone. She greets us and we indicate we are here to check in. She tells us she’s the only one here and she’s on her break. She will be with us in (checks watch) 10 minutes We literally sat there watching her stare at her phone for 10 minutes. At which point she jumps up and is like “ok I can help you now” I get that people are entitled to breaks. But how do you have ONE person manning the front desk area? I don’t fully blame her but it literally took her 72 seconds to check us in…. It’s a shame cause the location is convenient. Rooms are dated tho. From the outside it looks new and modern. Inside not so much.
This trip is fabulous since we stay at the best hotel we ever stay in New Jersey! Marriott Forrestal with stunning view! Staffs are kind, helpful, professional, very informative. Raj is the one want to address first. He works at breakfast lounge, sometimes at Ivy Iron Bar. He is very helpful , informative and show us many beautiful places around the area to visit since this is our first time here. He also very kind, helpful is such a way that helps us around to accomodate our needs. He goes beyond his mile and offered us sunny-side up with grilled potatoes sometimes when we came late to breakfast room and the food on the table almost gone. He is also very kind and welcome us everyday with a smile and good spirit! Wenky is another staff who is also helpful and kind. We also met Michael Merino, who is the assistant General Manager in this hotel. Michael welcomes us with warm attitude and greet us pleasantly. Front desk name Michael he is also helping me with direction and even called the place we wanted to visit that day to see if we can walk in. The hotel has forest/woods connected to the lobby.. a very nice ambience to enjoy your day also night time. The food from the resto Ivy Iron are very tasty and delicious. Lobby is huge, parking is easy and big lot. Our suite is big, clean and very nice room! Overall, from the staffs and ambience this hotel is stunning! Another one is the lounge.. big and spacey to work there. Quiet. Breakfast is nice American menu and many choices. Water and Pepsi , coffee machine are available 24/7 at lounge. At the end, if we could give a thumb up to one of the staffs here at Marriott is Raj. He did extra mile for us to make our stay welcome and pleasant here! We are looking forward to coming back and staying here surely
We’re in Princeton for a pit stop on our way north for the holidays. The hotel was festively decorated and buzzing with excitement. Despite being very busy, the gentleman at the front desk, Brayam, was very kind and extremely helpful. The room was impeccably clean and nicely appointed. The on the second floor, we could not hear any noise from the street below. We’re so happy this hotel is here. I’m confident that we will be making this our regular spot to stop on our way north.
I've stayed in Courtyard hotels across the country and they are generally a fairly solid choice. This one was OK, but I've definitely seen better. The lobby seemed updated, but the guest rooms were a little past their prime. The bed was not particularly comfortable and the shower seemed to be falling out of the wall. One strength of this hotel was the staff - very friendly and service oriented. Anyone who has read my hotel reviews know that hotel gyms are a big deal to me. this one was substandard on many levels. While they had decent cardio equipment, it was clear that it has not been well maintained. Their were no mats for floor work, and the floor surface was not comfortable for that type of activity. The towels were not well stocked on either day I used the gym. The dumbbell selection was weird - there were a couple that were below 10 pounds, which were too gross to touch. From there, it skipped up to 25s and 40s and that's it. This is an area I travel to fairly frequently, so I think I'll be continuing my search for the best spot to stay.

Princeton University Art Museum
Ppalettes_nyI went to visit the Six Flags Zoo on the weekend and finished the visit much earlier than expected, so I wanted to continue to make an appointment with the ticket for the Six Flags Paradise on the same day in the car. At noon, there were no tickets for the day. So the next destination was Princeton University, not far from Six Flags Park, known as one of the most beautiful campuses in North America, the American East Ivy League School. The campus was founded in 1746, with a gothic architectural style. The whole campus is like an ancient castle. The classical atmosphere can be seen everywhere. Every corner of the building has its own style and characteristics. It is very suitable for slow walks. The large lawn at the entrance of the campus is full of students sitting in the sun and reading. The whole atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing.
McCarter Theatre Center
Ppalettes_nyThere is also a business district outside the campus. The shops here can buy sweaters and refrigerator stickers for campus commemoration. The restaurant here is also very atmospheric. There are many Western-style bars and a campus square. The buildings here are also very distinctive.
Princeton Battlefield State Park
Ppalettes_nyA garden in the Princeton campus is very suitable for spring and summer festivals. There are a lot of flowers and plants in the garden, which is very suitable for taking pictures. Come over in summer, you need to do a good job of sun protection, the garden is outdoors
Princeton Cemetery
新新澤西州This is a historic cemetery next to Princeton's public library; it has long been empty. It has been heard that some celebrities (Princeton residents born) are buried. It occupies a small area, but is basically in the center of the city.
