I stayed here for a girls week. I love the amenities, the pool and activities. They had some amazing restaurants close by. There were many local “fun things” like pontoon boats, beach fire rentals. I visited a few restaurants most which have a beach behind them. The souvenir shops I found to be affordable. I will definitely visit again.

My wife and I arrived after midnight. We had worked all day and driven several hours to Pnanma City. When we arrived the lobby doors were locked for security and a sign directed you to use your room key or pick up a phone that was on the wall. As we had no key, I picked up the phone. It rang between 20-30 times and was then answered. The lady advised she was on the third floor and would be down shortly. A few minutes later, she arrived and unlocked the door. She checked us in without incident and was friendly. As I was extremely tired from a 20-hour day, I just wanted to get to sleep, so we went straight up to the room. My wife immediately noted several medium lengths to long black hairs in the room. They were on the floor in the bathroom, in the sink, in the shower. We were both too tired to address the situation at that time, so we took some pictures to address it in the morning. We cleaned the hair up and went to sleep. In the morning, we approached the desk clerk and explained what had happened. Her response was a little terse and caught me off guard. She wanted to know why it was not reported when we noticed the issue. I explained I was tired and a little cranky and felt it would be better to address the situation when rested and less apt to be impolite. We attempted to show the pictures, but she seemed somewhat ambivalent. We told her all we wanted was for the room to be cleaned while we were gone for the day and her attitude seemed to mellow. She said she would notify the general manager of our concern. When we got back, the room was cleaned, and all the hair was gone. We were not contacted further. Many of my reviews talk about how issues arise, and I try not to judge the issue, but rather how it is addressed. I do not think this was handled in the best way possible. As for the rest of the hotel, it was clean, and the public areas were nice. The location is okay, but not great. We chose this as it was the closest Bonvoy property to our son's residence. I think I would drive a little further on future visits.

Fantastic hotel and service! This hotel is located on the water near a marina and it is a beautiful location. The service was fantastic. The front desk staff person (I wish I had gotten his name) referred us to excellent restaurants for dinner and breakfast and I rated them both 5 stars! I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in Panama City Beach!
We booked this hotel from Monday to Saturday to escape Hurricane Milton when it hit Tampa. From the minute we checked in, which was early, since we stayed up the block the first night, we were there early because of the last minute plans. I explained our situation to Shrenica at the front desk and she she said we would have to pay the $50 early check in fee regardless. No compassion whatsoever for the fact that we had to leave our home for fear of a hurricane. Now on to the hotel amenities and cleanliness: 1) As other guests have mentioned there was a total lack of paper goods (plates, cups, napkins) available in the room and in the hotel. 2) The floors in our room were filthy and I actually had an allergy attack from all the dust. 3) The lobby and breakfast were the worst we've ever experienced in any hotel we've stayed in. The lobby floors were always sticky (probably from all the kids running around with juice and spilling it). The music for breakfast was incredibly loud and between that, and all the kids, it was not a relaxing atmosphere at all. Now the pool area - there is a lazy river in the pool which is beautiful, but it is overrun by children and not a relaxing atmosphere at all. We expect to be able to relax at the pool area when I'm paying to stay at a hotel. There was no ”adult pool” without screaming and yelling children all day long in the pool along with the incredibly loud music that was played all day as well. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation at the beach, this is NOT the place!!!
GGuest UserIt was a typical Comfort Inn, older building, one elevator, their usual hot breakfast and an outdoor pool. Noticed a few odd smells, from the elevator to the room which smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. Windows don't open for fresh air. The sink plunger was broken, there was a large humidifier in the room and the hall, the bed was a little too hard for my taste, but great pillows and bedding. I appreciated the microwave and mini-fridge, nice towels, the place was clean and overall good stay.
I came here to stay for 3 days. I have a school I have to take class. First time I've been here normally I stay across the bridge over on the grand lagoon side. Rooms are clean so far it's clean the snack machine is not refrigerated so the Reese's cups are melted. Anybody that's been in the vending business knows you need climate control machines in the summertime for sure. I thought the price was a little high especially should have gotten a better rate I thought being a choice rewards member. I'll probably try and get a little bit closer to the school.
GGuest UserHotel needs some updating.. especially in the bathrooms. The fixtures in the shower were all loose... shower curtain was moldy. Room seemed damp all the time. Not sure if a dehumidifier is needed or what, but the sheets felt wet when you sat on them. Actual room seemed fine, just had issues with the bathroom. The ”key tags” they use only seemed to work half the time. I got a lot of exercise going to the front desk. They would only give us 1 key tag. Kind of a pain because if one person left the room, the other had to stay in the room because they didn't have a key to get back in!! Phone did not work to call the front desk. It seemed plugged in, but there was no dial tone. There were only 2 bath towels in the room. Well, the room was so damp, they never dried. I had to go to front desk to get more towels. You should put at least 4 towels in a room that has sleeping for 4. Breakfast was less than exciting. Only thing we had was the pineapple juice. Front desk staff was not very friendly... it won't kill you to smile at a customer. They all looked like they hated their jobs.
MmsIt's was nice and the price was definitely decent. I also enjoyed their free breakfast. And the remodeling is very nice. I really got my money's worth
SStacey PennyI was very disappointed with my stay in this hotel. I paid $100 more than I would have liked to pay for the room. I also paid $40 for breakfast. Once I got to the hotel, I found out that breakfast was free. The free breakfast consisted of a plain bagel, yogurt, a honey bun, or a banana. The room was clean but the bathroom door was missing the latch on the handle, so it wouldn’t shut. The volume button didn’t work on the remote for the tv. The pool the hotel advertises is a tiny pool. Only an 8’x10’, at a max of 5’ deep. Overall, not worth all the money I paid.
Service was great. Room was clean and neat.very convenient to where I needed to be. Will recommend This Ramada to all my friends. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward in staying again.
Jjillbrad52I was trying to find an affordable hotel for vacation and even though this one still seemed overpriced, I went ahead and hoped for the best. Upon check in, I noticed that the staff gave me a reused card holder and during Coronavirus pandemic, that just seemed like a big no-no to me, but I moved past it. I went to the hotel room and tested the door only to find out that the chain had been removed and the deadbolt also unlocked with a key. I had to go buy an alarm for the door since it was so sketchy. The sheets smelled like they were never changed- stank beyond belief. The room wasn’t swept or mopped and we had to wear shoes unless we wanted the bottom of our feet to turn black from the nastiness on the floor. The day after we checked in, we had room service come in (which we didn’t want but there was no do not disturb sign available), and after we got back, my Birkenstock’s had been moved as if someone had tried them on. GROSS. The second night we stayed there, a couple of men were arguing and threatening each other outside our room for HOURS. The point that terrified me the most was when one man claimed to have a gun as a way to scare the other one. Keep in mind, the door is crap and barely locks. The next morning, I had my boyfriend shove everything we had into the suitcase and take everything to the car. When I went to the lady at the front desk and tried to check out and ask for a refund I was met with attitude and skepticism. She said to me “you checked in two days ago and you’re just now feeling unsafe?” With a look on her face. I said “I felt unsafe the first night I got here but last night was the last straw.” I asked for the refund and she said she would have to talk to her manager, which I’m pretty sure means no and she just wanted to get me out faster. I will NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.
Ll sDO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! My sister & I attempted to stay here last night 6/4/24... The first room they put us in was dirty... not cleaned. So we went up to the front desk & the lady put us in another room. The second room had a bad odor & the comforter had burn holes on it. We were so tired we were just going to over look those things. BUT... NOT EVEN 2 hours after falling asleep I was woken up but something biting me! I looked & found 2 bed bugs. I got up and got some toilet paper & was able to locate & kill 1. We immediately got our stuff & went to the front desk to check out & asked about a refund especially since we weren't even there 2 hours! This was around midnight... That front desk lady was rude! She didn't care. I showed her the bed bug... She didn't even want to look at it. She knew about the problem. She took our info & was supposedly going to give it to her ”manager”. I called back to talk to the ”manager” which is the owner & he tried to deny the bed bugs. I told him I have pictures. He didn't care & refused a refund. I told him that I was going to turn him into the attorney general & bbb he told me I could do whatever I wanted. This hotel is filthy!! Don't do it!! You'll regret it like we do.
