Super nice staff and a location right in the middle of the main stretch of Palm Springs. Free shuttle to and from the airport!
They had fun events like karaoke and bingo on Thursday & Friday. Pool and hot tub were decent. The room itself is big, but kinda dirty. Our room didn't have a view but the price was right.
The hotel is only on the side of the road. The road is not busy, so it is not noisy. It is very easy to find with Google Maps. It is actually the most common two-storey motel in the United States. The environment is not bad. It is surrounded by palm trees and has free on-site parking. There is a swimming pool, warm front desk service, complete room facilities, TV, refrigerator, microwave, gourmet coffee machine, no kettle (like a microwave oven), air conditioner refrigerator is very noisy, American hotel hotels do not provide disposable toothbrush slippers. The breakfast room is very small, three tables, 7-9 o'clock, weekend to 10 o'clock, not many varieties (eggs, sliced bread, homemade waffles, cereal milk, coffee, soda, apple), but there is absolutely no problem to eat. The room has a balcony with a coffee table chair, and the big bed parents have a child to live without stress. As a self-driving tour stop, it is still very good, value for money!
Surprise hotel. The design and decoration of the art style is totally different from the design of the hotel. No breakfast, parking, swimming pool, outdoor, romantic at night, with a heated jacuzzi. It takes about 15 minutes by car to Outlets and 10 minutes by car to Walmart.

Great place to stay in downtown Palm Springs. The hotel is so lovely and it has a real retro feel, with great modern bedrooms & bathrooms. Our room stepped out onto the poolside which was great.

Outstanding
AAlexandraI always love my stay at Desert Riviera. Palm Springs is my go to destinations. The rooms at Desert Riviera are quaint and well appointed. The service is great, the staff seem to really care about me and go out of their way to make sure I have everything I need. This particular stay, I was pretty much alone there which I love. This is a place you could enjoy year round, my next visit may be during winter.
LLaurie Volmthe hotel was lovely, room nicely appointed. Lobby offerings for coffee and snacks were very nice. Nikki in particular was friendly, informative, and helpful.
I wanted to book a massage at the spa, and was told by the spa, they are not part of the hotel and require 48 hrs notice, as therapists are on call. So 1/2 the reason I stayed there was for that, which is not advertised that way. at about 3:45 am I was awaken by someone trying to get in my room. Figuring it was a mistake, I yelled out wrong room. about 30 sec later, they tried again with more vigor. I called the front desk, and colin said he'd go check it out. he called me a few min later said he saw no one. while on the phone with him a stronger attempt was made by ”no-one”. I let out a scream, and told him he needed to help me. I said I was packing my stuff up and wanted an escort out of my room. he came up about 5-10 min later and I went to there lobby, about 5:00 am. Where I waited until about 8:30 am until it was light out and could go somewhere. Safety there is an issue. staff does not know how to handle such an event. Police should have been called after 2nd attempt. ”this has never happened before” is not the proper response. My trip was ruined, and a good hotel went bad in a hurry.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars, shops within walking distance and walking is easy since the city of Palm Springs is basically flat! I parked in the hotel lot and walked everywhere I wanted to go. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar but I knew this when I booked so no problem. They do have a small cantina type room where you can buy snacks, some sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc and ice machines everywhere. The service was very good, all employees where helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and good sized with a large bathroom. The room location was also good, on the ground floor near the pool with a view of a parklike courtyard. The pool was large and crowded (I arrived on Saturday afternoon) and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I took a dip the next morning right after maintenance finished cleaning the pool and was the only one there, it was great! I will definitely stay again at the Palm Mountain Resort.
GGuest UserI love the free airport shuttle. The view from the high-rise terrace was really nice. Rooms close to the lift are noisy. But the noise was tolerated by the great view. The location is really great.
TTaryn NicoleStaff were helpful and pleasant throughout my stay. Food was delicious. Only complaint would be the pool being very warm so much so that it wasn’t refreshing. Perhaps they could improve this by adding some kind of shading to the pool area. Otherwise a wonderful stay in a central location.
PPaulEvery room here is a suit with a full kitchen complete with stoves, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator and dishes and utensils. Even the most basic room is very spacious. The room was very clean; meeting even my nitpicking companion’s approval. There are several swimming pool and multiple outdoor seating areas to unwind.
There was a caution that the facility has no private bathroom, which is not true. Every room has a bathroom with a bathtub.
We definitely will book this hotel again the next time we visit Palm Springs.
BBINThe uncle at the front desk was super enthusiastic, introduced us to local restaurants, and talked about the Texas he had been to. . .
Uncle said that the hotel is not in downtown Palm Springs, it is relatively dark outside, it is best to drive out at night, but it is safe here, don't worry.
Room facilities are average, but clean is fine. Breakfast was pretty good, milk and orange juice were plentiful, and many guests took it to the room to eat.
The highlight of the hotel is the swimming pool, which opens from 8 am to 9 pm. There are two large pools and two small spa pools, which are very suitable for taking pictures.
RRachelThe hotel rooms here are incredible! My stay here was so relaxing and comfortable. You'll have to take a car to reach most of the nightlife. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience with the staff they where impatient and when we checked in the lady at the desk was downright rude. Which is a real bummer because the setup of the hotel makes it really hard to find your room without help from a staff member. I know that working with people all day can be tough and I would be happy to give them another chance because everything else was so nice.
MMarioInitial room had bathroom door falling off the hinges.
After 2 requests and front desk visit repair man was sent out. Said he fixed it and door fell again. (Photo is after it was “fixed”). Put out kids in the shower to see a long hair pool to the drain!
After this they upgraded our room. Shampoo mount was on the floor in the shower. Did not inform guests that one set of pools would be closed down for two days of our visit due to upcoming event. Day 2 we were woken up at 8AM to the sound of drilling as workers put together a stage next to our room. At 11:45 at night we again spoke to the front desk because the loud sounds of drilling due to them STILL putting together a stage. Worker letting us know they were “almost done”. On day 3 the same drilling a shouting as the crew we still setting up the stage.
Visited the front desk twice more to speak to management about our issue and was told that a manager was not available, to come back in the morning. We did, and again told that “manager not available”.
VveronicaI booked a standard room for 400 per night, which can accommodate four people. The swimming pool is nice. The desert area is very hot, so I stayed there for one night. There are delicious food nearby. The first room I stayed in was leaking, so I was immediately moved to another one. There were many Americans staying, and it is a cheap hotel. Free parking is very cost-effective. There is a smoking burger nearby, which tastes great!
