had no choice but it’s been a wonderful stay staff is good workers help me. i appreciate the hospitality. they had great food and were very welcoming. i couldn’t of asked for better service and welcoming.

This was a very nice Super 8 where we might stay again. The night front desk man was very nice and accommodating and helpful. I wish I could say the same about the day front desk guy but he may have been in bad situation. First, we were given a room that smelled heavily of smoking though it is a non smoking hotel. He quickly switched us and did check out the smokey room. That was the night man. We went down for breakfast. It was very lacking. No juices of any kind. Drink coffee or tap water I guess. I asked the front desk man about it and he said no juices. A convenience store/gas station was next door..probably owned by the same people was our choice to go and buy juices! The front desk man said he couldn't do anything about it. There was a juice machine there behind a cabinet door as I saw it when looking for juice. No cereal either. They had some Hostess coffee cake and something else. They did have a pancake machine which was set on silver dollar. I knew how to change it to large but I didn't. Two silver dollar pancakes at a time. I gave up. Come for the room but don't expect much of a breakfast....

We stayed at this hotel in August by happenstance, looking for a place to stay and break up the drive from NY to Michigan. We had a very positive experience with this hotel then and specifically made reservations here last week and again last night. These experiences were both as positive as our first visit. Pluses: Easy access to I-80 Friendly and welcoming staff -- everyone we interacted with was top notch! Comfortable room and bed Choice of room options-- we had one with a king bed and small sitting area Free snacks Free breakfast Sustainability is valued Other comments/hints: *** We didn't have time to use the pool, gym, or other amenities but they have them so check them out! *** If you have mobility issues, be sure to let the staff know. Our room had a large bathtub which was fine for us but might be hard for some people to get in and out of. *** Coming from I-80, take PA state road 18 going north. Spangler Road, which goes to the hotel is to the right just before a sign that welcomes you to Hermitage. There's also a small sign pointing to the Holiday Inn but it's hard to see in the dark and the hotel isn't visible from that place on the road. *** The hotel is close to town where there are loads of dining and carry out options. Just return to PA-18 and go several more miles to the north. *** It took us awhile to figure out the TV channel options -- there are a lot of channels. We never found a single listing of all channels but did figure out that you can enter three digits to get channels with a dash in the channel number. For example, enter 411 for 41-1 on a channel guide. Overall we highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

Nice customer service!

It is a motel, I don't like it very much! The lobby has the smell of air freshener! Breakfast is average, but the restaurant waiter is very welcoming, the service is very good, very dedicated!
