4.3/5
Excellent
We stayed here because we ended up in the area on our way home. Very clean quiet. Bed was comfortable. Shower was lacking in water pressure but large and clean. Breakfast was ok. Nice veiw out the window. They do offer military discount. Freindly staff
This is a reasonably priced hotel, conveniently located close to the freeway. Front office staff are not overly friendly. Rooms are small and have been remodeled probably within the past 5 years. Unfortunately, the new furniture, holding the refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and two drawers is too big for its location, making it difficult to maneuver around. The king size bed is comfortable. There's also a stuffed chair and a desk table, with a chair. The bathroom is small and the vanity sticks out far enough to catch your hip, if you're not careful. The sink faucet is plumbed backwards: right controls hot and left controls cold water. Early in the morning (around 6:00-6:15), the water to the shower warms up fairly quickly and then cools off quite a bit. But if you leave it running for another 3-4 minutes, it warms back up. Kinda weird. The open closet had a musty smell to it. Breakfast is decent. Usually scrambled eggs and a changing meat option, waffle maker, toaster, with bread, bagel, or English muffin options. Fruit, one adult cereal and one youth cereal, plus bags of oatmeal and grits are also available. Juice options are orange and apple. 2% and 1% milk are in the fridge. And, of course, coffee. For the price, it's a decent place. A lot of people working in the area on a short term basis stay here, as well as those attending woodworking workshops in the area. I'll be back, as long as it remains inexpensive.
