Excellent
GGuest UserThis place is an amazing location for my short stay of four days. But it was just amazing after a long flight to walk into a hotel and be greeted by such a welcoming individual. The rooms were immaculate . I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your employees each and everyone of them for maintaining the hotel from the amazing woman that greeted you in the morning and set up that amazing continental breakfast to everyone who maintained your room clean and checked everyday to make sure that you had enough towels. On my last day I ran into a young couple who was checking in and I just had to tell them that they did the right choice on staying at Penn Stroud. This is by far the best hotel near here and yes I have stayed in many in Pa. Thank you all for your serve and the pride that each and everyone of you did in your working capacity.❤️👏👏
GGuest UserThe room was great. Had a nice view of the lake. The only complaint with the room was no mini fridge, but we were prepared for that with a small cooler. The ****** was very smokey even the non-smoking section. It would be better if they followed PA guidelines and had no smoking. There were no valets to handle luggage when we checked in which was a problem. We are elderly and hubby uses a walker and cannot handle luggage as he once did. Fortunately a young couple was checking in as well and helped me with the luggage. Restaurants were great but a bit pricey.
TTRwheretonextThis was our first trip- overall we had a lot of fun! Our 6 and 2.5 year old loved the water rides and the waterpark in general. We spent the majority of our time there. We had a Kid Cabin suite which we all liked a lot. There was plenty of space to relax after a day at the waterpark. We didn't do many meals there, which I think was a positive! We ordered breakfast and it was expensive but the kids liked it. There were some cons- the room above us was LOUD, so much so it was hard to sleep and I wanted to go home a day early. There were a LOT of cigarette butts on the ground outside the balconies. A LOT. Sadly that has more to do with rude people than the resort. Staff were all really nice and I was relieved that all the guests were wearing masks in general areas. There was plenty of space at the park (we went Mon-Thurs) so we never felt uncomfortable. Overall, it was a fun winter break that we all needed!
CColleenH654The room is great! Love the space. But the soundproofing is horrible. I’m not one to complain about normal hotel room noises but our room is actually shaking. It sounds like a herd of elephants are running around in the room above us. And I don’t mean occasionally I mean the whole time I’m sitting here. I understand if there are little kids, but this is ridiculous. They must be jumping off the furniture. And the hotel can’t be built very well if it’s this loud. For the cost I expect better. I would have given 5 stars without noise.
魏魏I have stayed at this hotel for the third time. The environment is beautiful and the view is wide. It is a bit like a hotel halfway up the mountain. The implementation is relatively complete. The first time you stay in the snowy winter, you can burn the wood in the fireplace. This has to be charged separately. Now the tour is open and there are more tourists. The hotel has been cancelled. There is a ski resort near this hotel 🎿. There are outlets nearby. If you want to travel to Pennsylvania, you are a good choice.
GGuest UserWe have stayed here at least 4 times while attending to family matters in Bushkill. This was the second time the bathroom had a very strong ”stale” or mildew smell (suspect it was the shower curtain). We should have asked that it be replaced while we ate dinner but thought maybe with the fan on it would lessen...it did not. We were so fatigued we just decided to let it go.
GGuest UserThis was a horrible experience. The customers in the lounge used profanity continuously, and the bartender did nothing allowing this behavior to continue. The beer was luke warm. Needless to say we left and went up the road to Shawnee for food, cocktails, and better clientele. The halls and rooms smelled. The walls between the rooms allowed you to hear the conversations in the next room clear as if the people were in your room. TV's were blazing until 1:00AM. We stayed 1 night and left at 5AM the next morning.
GGuest Userlocation nice view mountain ,room clean average but continental breakfast so so nothing choose only egg, bread, coffee, apple juice and muffin。one night stay is
been fine 。 do not repect what you get
