I’ll start with the good things. The rooms are brand new, hard to mess that up. Spacious and well appointed. Moving on to the not so good. Cleanliness……..meh. Carpet needed vacuumed and there were lady bugs all over the windows and wall. That happens this time of year, but with dead ones on the carpet, I’m gonna say this room hasn’t been swept in a while. On to the WORST part of my cut short stay - not due to my business trip but due to staff interactions. The front desk conversation made me feel like I was dealing with a disgruntled employee. Brianna was bothered by my question about staying a second night with a different reservation and wanting to stay in the same room without checking out and having to check back in the following day. I had to ask her for her name and then for the manager’s name, Angela. I asked if Angela was on-site and Brianna said she was right behind me. I turned around to speak with Angela and was met with a head turn. Apparently the front desk staff inherited their awesome and enthusiastic personalities from their supervisor. I finally almost asked to cancel my second night’s stay. I’d rather stay at a place much older with a friendly staff than feel like I’m not welcome. Of course, my second night couldn’t be refunded and I was still going to be charged, and I refused to flush my money down the toilet, Hopefully I won’t have to interact with the front desk anymore than absolutely necessary. If this place had a staff as nice as the facility, it would be awesome! At least 4 stars. With the current management, Angela - the manager and Brianna - director of sales (she threw that in after I asked for her name) was as nice as their surroundings, this place would thrive. If nothing is done about the current attitudes of the current employees, this site will never make it. Sad, really.
This is the place to stay if you want convenient access to the best that Lewisburg has to offer at a reasonable price. Two blocks to the main street core, around the corner for a great breakfast at Amy's Market, and next door for good food and creative cocktails at the Asylum. (The wood stockade building down the street on the corner dates to the 1790s.) Based on others' suggestions, we stayed in room 204, a spacious corner room with kitchenette and lots of natural light. The room and the entire hotel were lightly, tastefully decorated. Check-in and check-out were easy and done completely remotely. A travel tip. If you're coming from Virginia and other points east, don't get off at I-65 Exit 175, which has the all-too familiar exit clutter of chain hotels, restaurants and stores, but get off instead at Exit 169. Exit 169 brings you into Lewisburg via a quieter rural state highway past some lovely homes as you enter the town.

We stayed here on IHG points, and I suppose I'd pay up to $125 for this room, which seems appropriate. It was pretty nice and clean. I liked how there was a pullout couch and two queens in the room so my kids could sleep without kicking each other! I was worried about being near the elevator, but it didn't bother me at all. The pool was nice. It was nearly deserted (there was an inebriated guest walking around but he disappeared), but breakfast had quite a crowd. The attendants wiped down a table upon request. They were a bit overwhelmed with the the coffee making and restocking items during the morning rush. It was the basic HIE breakfast with the sweet cinnamon rolls. This hotel overlooks a cemetery or Walmart, but you can head to Lewisburg and enjoy a quaint walk and good restaurants.

when I first read reviews I was not sure but I called and asked questions and I talked to Sarah. I booked 10 nites and took a chance. I have to tell you I have no complaints...the bed was comfortable and I put the do not disturb sign out and she told me they have to change sheets every three days whether we want them or not. they even wash the bed spreads. they knocked on door every morning wanted to know what we needed or could they do something for us. I found it clean , all the workers were nice..they even answered questions about the area. Everything was in working order..the ac was great...it was a nice size room for the money....For what we needed it for it was a great place and great workers....all were nice The trip was for a funeral one weekend and a school reunion the next...
Great hotel. Everything was clean. Location is first stop light off interstate. Noise level was acceptable. Breakfast area provided a robust choice of breakfast. Staffed kept buffet trays full. Only complaint was that check-in clerk teamed of cigarette smoke(I am allergic too) but otherwise everything was smooth.
We have stayed here several times, and we have always been happy. The staff was friendly and helpful, as always, but there were some negatives this time. The alarm clock blared at 4:00 AM, and we had to turn on the light to unplug it to make sure it was actually off. Our shower Monday morning was pretty cold, although it had been hot the night before. There was almost no one in the hotel, so it could not have been that too many people were using hot water. We were literally the only people at breakfast, which was quite good, except the juice machine was out of order, and they had no jelly. The attendant was very nice. She apologized and said she had ordered it, but did not receive it. The pool had a sign saying “Closed for Maintenance” , but there was no one maintaining it. In this day and age, I would give them the benefit of the doubt and acknowledge that they could well be waiting for parts. We would definitely stay here again. We just hope they sharpen their attention to detail. I do not expect the Ritz for Fairfield Inn prices, but a hot shower is not too much to ask.
