We were recently in town for a family event. Our event was in a little sketchier part of town, but we only had to drive a short distance to Holiday Inn. They are across the street from the Hurst Police Department and several other hotels, so we felt perfectly safe and even walked to dinner rather than drive. While the decor is a little dated with the heavy wood feel, you can tell it has been very well maintained. We were near the highway, but the room was very quiet. We reserved a suite which would allow a bit more room for our family to spread out. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast was predictable, typical HI fare.

It’s almost surprising to me that I have never used this property. I have used the other newer Hilton brand just down the street and was wholly unimpressed with the architecture and the offering. This property is fantastic for what Hampton intends to be, but they are missing one very important feature - in room safes. The brand has set the standard for this and I would not have become so interested in it were it not for innkeeper’s absolute refusal to deal with dishonest maid staff. A safe behind the counter is not good enough because it requires me to drag my electronics down there every time I leave the room. A hotel is not jail and freedom of movement is mandatory, and carrying around a bunch of electronics has shown up as required for living much of anywhere. To have a safe place to store that thing while staying on the road has become extremely important and I’m hoping all brands will recognize this and offer the guess a place of safety within their own room. It’s become so important that I intend to start calling ahead to find out if these are offered when deciding where I’m going to stay. Outside of that this place was all Hilton, from the lobby to the guest room to the staff on duty. I live here and I was only here because of the electric power uncertainty when it’s blistering cold. I didn’t use many of the facilities and don’t care about the swimming pool. I’ve learned a long time ago it’s worth the added cost to choose a dependable brand. The lack of standards in the lesser brands has driven me away from them. The franchise police have been eliminated from the lesser brands and they are lately getting away with providing nothing to the customer. I am lucky I played my cards right and have earned enough I am not forced to put up with that. Hampton has kicked HI off their throne for my needs thus when I’m going some place needing a place to stay I’ll look for a Hilton brand that meets the needs before any other.. I’d recommend this place to anyone as you’re getting what you pay for. There’s no reason for me to come back because I live here, but that’s not always true either.

The location is convenient, clean, affordable, and cost-effective. It has been staying for a month and is on business trip. The facilities are complete, the service is in place, and it is suitable for living.

I recently stayed here and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The hotel's location was perfect, close to major attractions and public transportation. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

02.5-6. 2022 The booking was paid by card, but the deposit was left in cash - $ 100. When leaving the room, the girl at the reception desk said that they would not give us the deposit because they did not find two small towels in our room, allegedly we appropriated them and $ 100 is damage. It's clear that we didn't take them, we don't need them) They began to explain to the man, who, among other things, organizes breakfasts there, that we did not take them and there are exactly as many towels as they were put in the room. I told my husband to call the police and let them inspect our car and all our belongings, and then we will figure out why they illegally tried to withhold our money from us. After that, the man again called someone very quickly, there was a short conversation, and then said that it was cleaning yesterday I forgot to put it in the room and we can pick up our deposit. It turns out that the cleaning in 15 seconds of the dialogue remembered which of the 50-100 rooms did not put two small towels🤦🏼♀️ Or I don't know what the hotel administration was hoping for when they decided to do this to their guests!

The staff were kind and welcoming (Thank you, Sammy!), and the pricing was reasonable. Our room was newly upgraded, clean, and comfortable. There was quite a bit of room, making this perfect for both short and long-term stays. We attended a concert in Dallas and this location was close enough to make the commute easy. The pricing was much better than the hotels in Dallas, making this the perfect location for our needs. We WILL be visiting again.

Everything from checking in to daily breakfast was excellent. Customer service was exceptional. I will definitely stay here again! Great accommodations made our family trip that much better. Hotel location was easily accessible from Dallas, Haslet, Arlington and Ft Worth!

Had some Wyndham points and to use and was in the area to go to a Rangers ball game. Little bit of a drive, but easy. I’ve never stayed at a Super 8, but I was pleased. I noticed a lot of bad reviews, but I think all of them consist of the airport shuttle. We didn’t need that so can’t comment on that. Easy to find. Not much in walking distance, but plenty around. Seems to have been just recently updated. The lobby, breakfast, hallways, and room were all in nice shape and looked updated. The room was clean and didn’t have any issues. Breakfast was better than expected. I thought a place like this would just have coffee and cereal. They also had waffles you could toast, breakfast sandwiches you could heat in the microwave, fruit, and yogurt. Only major issue to me was the pillows. Each bed only had two very thin pillows. With four people it made for an uncomfortable sleep. The bed wasn’t bad, but none of us could really get comfortable so it was a bad nights sleep. Only other minor issue was the humidity in the room but that’s not their fault. The sheets and towels just felt damp upon entering. When we left for the game I turned the air down to 62 and left the bathroom fan on. It was much better when we got back. I’m not sure if they would’ve given us more pillows if we asked. I thought we’d be ok, but we weren’t. Other than that I would have no issue staying here again.
