What a horrible experience. After missing my flight home, American Airlines put me up in this hotel. They chose it specifically because it has a shuttle so I could get to and from the airport. However, after waiting 20 minutes for the shuttle, I called the hotel to see how often the shuttle was running. I was told that because there were several ”distressed passengers,” they would be running the shuttle numerous times w/ in the hour and would be there in the next 10 minutes. After another 30 minutes, other passengers and I tried calling the hotel to see where the shuttle was. They didn't answer the phone for over an hour. After finally getting through and asking the question again, I was told to wait 10 more minutes. After over 2 hours of waiting, several of us were going to take an Uber to the hotel and miraculously the shuttle showed up. It was a white van w/ a homemade printed sign in the window for this hotel. If you weren't on high alert, you'd miss it (which we didn't- it never came around). Check in to the hotel was easy, rooms were dated, and the pair of used boxer briefs outside of my door were a draw card to several rowdy patrons who walked past. The running toilet that didn't flush in my room kept me awake and when I showered in the morning the tub filled and wouldn't drain. I called the front office to report the issues and when they didn't answer I told the front desk when I went to check out 5 minutes later (staff was unoccupied and on his cell phone at that point). The morning shuttle was almost as unreliable as the evening's. We were told that there would be several shuttles starting at 5am but to get to the lobby at least 15 min early. We were assured that they would continue shuttling passengers to the airport to get them there as close to 5 as possible. When I went downstairs at 6, I was told by those who were down at 4:30am that they didn't make it on the first shuttle and were still waiting- no second shuttle was in service as promised. We were all so exhausted that it was *almost* comical at this point. Zero stars- would never recommend.
Extremely clean, quite, beds very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Free internet, free parking, noon check out is nice not being rushed out, nice being able to sleep in. Had mini fridge in room coffee maker, microwave, and in room safe. Would highly recommend.
The room was large, two Queen size double beds were comfortable to sleep, but there were some black mold stains on one of the walls. There is a free breakfast, although there are not many choices.

We stayed at this Best Western during our family vacation to Chicago (Sun July 31, 2022 to Thurs. Aug. 4, 2022). We stay exclusively at Best Westerns when they are available where we are traveling to on vacation. My husband who travels a lot for work also exclusively stays at Best Westerns, is a Diamond Select Rewards Member. We are loyal Best Western customers, which is what made this experience so disappointing. When my husband checked us in he asked the clerk on duty if our room had 2 Queen beds and was told yes. We got up to our room and there were 2 Double Beds. On our way to dinner we questioned the clerk again and he claimed to have misheard my husband saying that he thought that my husband had said 2 nights, and that this Best Western only had King or Double Beds. We said ok and asked if it was possible to get a cot, and were informed that they don't have ANY cots. Frustrated at this point my husband grabbed the card for the manager and we went to dinner. While at dinner I realized that the clerk saying he was confirming that we were staying for 2 nights, didn't make any sense as we were staying 4 nights. We get back to the hotel from dinner and I ask the clerk for 2 extra sets of towels as there weren't enough towels in the room for all of my family to shower, 2 extra blankets for my kids and an extra pillow. I was told the towels were no problem and he could get me the pillow, but there was a limit of 1 extra blanket per room. I muttered you have got to be kidding me under my breath, and I'm sure the clerk could tell I was very annoyed at this point. He handed me the towles and then asked me to follow him to the laundry room for the pillow and blanket. He wound up giving me a second blanket, which I was grateful for as it allowed us to make up a bed for my son on the ottoman he wanted to sleep on. The next three nights were uneventful. When we were leaving we decided to use a luggage cart to load all of our belongings onto so that we didn't have to make multiple trips between our room and car. My husband was pushing the luggage cart and while going down the handicap part of the curb accidently bumped the hotel shuttle. The shuttle driver went ballistic threatening to kick my husband's butt and stepping into my husband's personal space. My husband raised his voice and said, ”Listen here, I have spent more money at this company in the last year then you make. Back off.” My husband fully admits that this wasn't his best moment. After we got the car loaded my husband took the cart back, he took pictures of the ”damage” a tiny dent that was barely noticable and went to speak with the manager out the incident. The manager thanked my husband for his honesty and told him that the shuttle driver would be written up for his behavior. He was very pleased with how the manager handled the situation. We will never be staying at this location again, and strongly recommend that no one else stays here either.
We had two rooms and stayed two nights. Highlights: -Hotel is in a quiet and a calm location -Rooms were spacious and comfortable(all rooms are suites) -Plenty of free parking available -Small swimming pool but perfect for kids -Check-in process was smooth and the staff were very friendly/courteous -Did not get to try the club lounge as it was a weekend(breakfast vouchers were given that could be used at the restaurant for Bonvoy members) -Housekeeping on demand only(front desk made it clear at the time of check-in) -If you like running/walking outdoors, go to the Busse Forest trails nearby and enjoy the trail for several miles. There is also an Elk pasture and you can see the Elk’s up close. There are also stretches of sidewalks in the neighborhood, you can use. Enjoy your workout! A big shout out to Arsenia for checking us quickly and taking care of all our room requirements. She was very friendly, quick and assisted us with local information as well. Opportunities: One of the elevator was out of order and other one was very slow. Overall, great stay and we will return next time we are in the area.
The room was clean and the environment was good. The staff was not very nice. I clearly booked a twin room, but they insisted on giving me a large bed and a sofa bed. Finally, after I took out the order, they reluctantly gave me the room I booked. In addition, the hair dryer was broken. It couldn't be used.
Narda is such a cheerful and positive woman ! I’ve stayed two separate weeks and every time I’ve seen her she was always so polite , helpful and gave off amazing friendly energy. Even after a long day at work barely wanting to converse with anyone and just get in my comfortable hotel bed , her energy would make me stop and chat with her every time! Seriously 10/10 customer service , I’m surprised she works at the front desk . I’d for sure say MANAGER MATERIAL !! Thank you so much for the pleasant stay , she was the reason I chose to book this hotel for a second stay.
I'm not much for writing reviews but I had to express my appreciation for such a great front desk staff (Kev and Stella). This is my second visit and both experiences were stellar in comparison to other area hotels. It's a very clean facility and the vibe is pretty positive.
The hotel room is very clean, the service is very friendly, the breakfast is a single point, 10 dollars. There is a Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel, eating noodles. It should be a good hotel near the airport

GGuest UserChecked in 7.23.22 and checked out the following morning, asking for a full refund on the two 2 queen rooms for 2 nights that I rented. The reason we chose this hotel is it was affordable. Now, normally I check everything down to the sheets, last night we got there late so I did a once over and found mold on the bathroom door. My husband took a shower last night and the handle to the bathtub fell off! We called and reported that immediately as we didn't want to get charged, the front desk clerk was aware of this already. This morning I noticed mold in the bathroom, in a couple different spots when I showered, and bug bites on my arm and legs. So that was the last straw for me but the biggest surprise was when I went to wake my daughter up. I pulled back the blankets all the way and the sheets were brown and disgusting. Down to the fitted sheet. I immediately contacted the front desk to have the issue resolved, the manager took responsibility for the conditions of the bathroom but the bed she blamed on my child. Nail in coffin, honey get everything in the truck. It's not funny but let's not have a bad day because of bad service. This is unacceptable from a hotel because of the world we are living in today. Coronavirus is still a thing and monkey pox has been spreading in the area, I don't feel like this hotel is doing their part in preventing illnesses from being spread. On top of that, she refused to discount the second room because we ”didn't complain about the second room” and only gave back half the money for the room we complained about ”because we still got some rest”. Instead of arguing we took what we can get. Why check the second room which is right next to ours, I expected same results. Told my honey, leave it to me next time lol. Seriously, I wouldn't give them a dime and Im reporting it. All the rooms should be inspected before staying. Bring your own linen if you absolutely must stay here and beware of the creepy crawlers.
