Finally - after years, they have (almost) finished the renovation and brought the hotel to Marriott standards. Only the elevators are still a WIP. As a result, the rooms are standard Marriott and pretty decent from a hard goods standpoint (although I've already had problems with the outlets not working, etc.). Now the bad news: (1) Foremost, they overbook and DO NOT guarantee your room reservation (albeit if you don't show up, they will charge you a night as a ”no show.” Our company has spent several hundred nights there and we had a new employee show up only to be told - ”sorry, we're overbooked, try the Comfort Inn across the street.” Seriously??? One, overbooking should never happen. Second, when it does, they should at least often to call a comparable hotel and often to put the person there (although see point 2 - maybe the Comfort is comparable). It's just one of many indications how bad this management company is. (2) The housekeeping is beyond bad and the front desk indifferent. On the first night, i went in to take a shower only to realize there were ZERO bath towels. I had to use a hand towel to dry off. I mentioned it to the front desk and the classic answer was ”how many towels do you need?” ONE WOULD BE NICE! I've stayed in thousands of hotel rooms in my lifetime - never had one until now that lacked a bath towel. Further, the room was not cleaned. I noticed in the shower there were extremely long hairs on the shower wall - clearly not mine. I could go on - don't bother complaining, management will write some note that they will address whatever the problem du jour is and they won't. This management company is sub-par and below Marriott standards. Unfortunately, there is not much competition in the area, but recommend looking elsewhere. I know our Company is going to discuss moving elsewhere due to the continued problems (this was just the most recent visit).
In terms of cleanliness, it was not good because there was some mop smell in the bathroom.
The location was good, directly connected to the airport.
I had a beer in the restaurant, and it took a while to order because there were so many people.

Being a Gold level Bonvoy member, I try to stay at Marriott properties as much as possible. As I had an early flight out of PIT the next morning, I selected this hotel to stay at. Due to an injury I received prior to checking in, I messaged the front desk to ask them if they could accommodate me for either a closer to the lobby room or a persons with disabilities room. They were able to give me the persons with disabilities room, Room 155, which had a walk in shower. The water temperature was fine, and, for the most part, the room was a comfortable temperature. The beds were comfortable, and everything worked fine. That’s where the good part of the hotel ended. The reason for the two point dock was the front desk “supervisor” Dianne. She had a HUGE attitude problem, never acknowledged me as a Gold Bonvoy member, and when I called later on to get the name of the pizza place that was close, she seemed to want to hurry the conversation, with a snide attitude. Prior to filing a formal complaint with Bonvoy Customer Service, my fiancé had gotten the business card of the manager of the hotel. I did speak with the assistant manager Andreal via email, and he compensated me for the issues with Dianne, and said he would take care of the issues I had with Dianne. Would I stay there again? Probably, but not if Dianne is working at the front desk.
Service is very good, others are average.
Because the service is very good, it is worth a special review. Breakfast is free, relatively simple, and the breakfast in the United States hotel is almost the same. On the same day at the hotel, I chose to dine on the first floor of the hotel. When I left the store, I checked out. I didn't let me pay again. I offered to have dinner last night. The order has not been settled yet. I reminded the front desk not to forget. As a result, after waiting for a few minutes, he found my bill and told me that this list is free. As for why it is free, I didn't figure out. It was a surprise to get a free dinner unexpectedly. I especially gave it a good review.

Using the Park and Fly option, we spent the night here after returning from trip to Ireland. Picked up promptly by personable Globe shuttle driver. Check in was easy and desk staff friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and has obviously undergone recent upgrading: everything was clean and comfortable. Appreciate the trend to have tiled floors rather than carpet and also the shampoo/condition/shower gel dispensers rather than the little bottles. USB ports and plenty of outlets. Coffee/tea, micro fridge, responsive AC, light block drapes. Good quality bed linens and towels (four sets). Lobby and hall areas clean, well-lighted. Breakfast included waffles, little cinnamon rolls, good bagels, yogurt, hot/cold cereals, juices - all the basics. Value for what we received was very good. It'll be where we stay next trip out.
One of the best Wyndham hotels at the Pittsburgh airport. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, beds were comfortable. The location is a bit further away from Robinson Shopping Center and the hotels around there but other than that it was a good spot to stay.
The front desk was great! I was staying 1 night because I needed a shuttle to the Pittsburgh airport. When the front desk found out that I was checking out at 10:30 and taking the 11:30AM shuttle for an early evening flight, he let me do a late checkout. That extra two hours meant that I had TV and a private bathroom for an extra 2 hours! The room was solid for the value; it had a microwave and small fridge.
Booked the hotel to catch the 6 o'clock in the morning. Check-in after 3 pm, the lady at the front desk was very kind and informed the details, and warmly invited us to taste the warm American cookies. The standard room is equipped with a refrigerator, coffee machine, 2 bottles of bottled water and no microwave (available in the lobby). The bathroom is wet and dry and clean. The security check at Pittsburgh Airport started at 4 am, the hotel called early at 3 am, the shuttle bus departed at 3:30, and arrived at the airport at 3:45.
