Breakfast buffet was nice but always scrambled eggs bacon and sausage. Not much variation. Rooms were nice but they could use some updating.Sissy the breakfast waitress was outstanding every morning. The steak house Poerters was top notch. Very good Filets and the wedge salad was very good as well. I would stay here every time I come to this area.

Good location in the Collinsville hotel district. Had to wait a long time for both check in and check out, despite being the only one there. You have to give a $100 deposit for the room. Rooms are extremely well maintained, with good beds & AC, but the rest of the hotel is not well maintained. This includes the fact that the pool stinks up the first floor with its chlorine smell. The breakfast biscuits & gravy were barely edible, but their fresh muffins were very good.
TRAUMATIZING! This is by far the worst accommodation I’ve ever experienced. The only reason why I gave 1 star is for the PM front clerk, Jessica, who listened to our complaints and helped us check out as soon as possible. The lady who prepares the breakfast was very kind, but the breakfast option was not great. 1. DIRTY! Unwashed bedsheets. The room was so dirty! The bed sheets and pillow cases weren’t washed! You could smell the previous guest on those sheet and bed. I wanted to cry. Good thing is that we always bring our own bed sheet so we just covered it up since it was already late at night. 2. FOOD IN MICROWAVE. As if the dirty beds wasn’t enough, I opened the microwave to heat up some milk for my daughter and I found a left over bag of White Castle in it! Disgusting!!! If the housekeeper is going to pretend to have the room cleaned, at least make sure all the trash has been cleared out the room. The microwaved was stained with splattered food all over. The coffee maker, refrigerator, tv and furnitures had dust sitting on them. 3. DISGUSTING FLOOR. It doesn’t stop at the microwave. I found shoes under the bed. That freaked me out because I thought someone was under the bed! The bed has a base frame and they didn’t even bother to check the little space under the bed. The carpet was clearly not vacuumed. The rooms were just unsanitary, I honestly feared for our health, especially for my little girl. 4. The pool was closed. It was not stated in their website. Nor was there any note from their email prior to our check in. The pool is closed due to “health” and sanitary issue. That was a red flag. They told us to use the pool from Leisure world and they reimburse us. We did for one night but that was so dirty! And the hotel did not reimburse us as they said even after leasing the receipt and emailing it to the GM. 5. BROKED DOWN ELEVATOR. They placed my group with children on the 3rd floor. It would’ve been fine if the elevator was working but it broke down! The elevator inspection sheet was outdated to Feb 2022. Scary. 6. UNAUTHORIZED CHECK OUT. We received an email that we have been checked out on our second day while we were out exploring the city. We tried calling for 30 minutes without any luck. No one answers the phone in this hotel. We had to drive back for 30 minutes just to make sure they don’t clear out our rooms. What a headache and inconvenience. We were robbed a good and relaxing vacation. This was the last straw. This was a blessing in disguise because we had to check out and get out of there as soon as possible. We requested for a refund for the rest of our reservation and got out of there as soon as possible. We weren’t 100% sure if they were going to return our money but we found another Marriott hotel the same day to stay during the remainder of our vacation. This stay caused so much inconvenience, trauma and fear for our health and safety. We did not deserve to be charged for this experience. I hope no othe

Room was clean; Staff was pleasant; A/C worked good; Bed was fine. We were actually very surprised at how quiet it was, knowing there were other Cardinal fans right next door. Yes, it's a good choice when you're in the area for St. Louis baseball. It's right next to the convenience store with the best gas prices we found around there. And it's just a walk across your own parking lot to the Lotawata Grill. That makes you appreciate having a refrigerator and microwave back in your room, too. On the reality check side of things ... I will take my own pillow if we stay there again. The four they provided would not have been enough for one, much less two people. I guess they're down pillows, and that's what they did -- went DOWN flat, almost as thin as a deflated balloon when you put your head down. And, that was undoubtedly the smallest tub/shower enclosure I've ever used, but it was adequate and clean. If you're much over 6', it might be an issue for you, though. Overall, we would stay here again. Other things that held back a 5-star were slow internet and no elevator to the second floor. For this trip, neither of those things was a deal-breaker, though.
