4.5/5
Excellent
GGuest UserPros: 1) clean place 2) relatively friendly staff Cons: 1) The elevators have had a nauseating smell of what I imagine to be highly scented, floral cleaning fluid. It will knock you down! Extremely off putting!! I've had to stay here 4 times and it's the same every time. The elevators floors are also usually sticky. 2) Rooms here are not refreshed unless you request it 24 hours in advance BUT you may not know you need your room refreshed 24 hours in advance. The result can be an overflowing trash can and dirty towels. 3) One morning, the hotel water was shut off just as I was getting into the shower. The staff knew in advance they were going to cut off the water but they failed to notify the guest. Very inconsiderate. 4) When we checked in, we received one small water bottle and there were two of us. These are first-world problems and probably not worth mentioning but the elevator smell may be enough to make me change hotels. Makes you wonder what they're trying to cover up.
GGuest UserBooked a double room with 2 double beds for 4 people. Plenty of space in the room, nice bathroom, and comfy beds. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the room. We checked in around 7 PM, far past the beginning of check-in, meaning plenty of time to complete the room cleans. Almost all surfaces had a film of spots from cleaning spray being sprayed but not wiped. Found a child's juice bottle (16 ounces, so not small and easy to miss) behind the bedside table. A lot of the wall surfaces and especially the creases of walls, baseboards, and mirrors need to be re-painted or re-caulked over the scratches, cracks, peels, etc. Overall, a decent stay for the one night we were in town.
GGuest UserThe 2 gals at front desk were very nice and the only pleasant thing about our stay. When we went to our room, the door was open. The latch was over so the door wouldn't lock behind you, so why was our room unlocked? Guys hanging out in the parking lot and walkway areas. A bit creepy and loud for hours into the night. The room smelled like incense. It was nauseating. It never got better. The room needs a good cleaning. I am attaching a photo of the tub. The gal at check in said it was a suite! HAHAHA! The jacuzzi tub was so disgusting that my husband would not shower. I did, very quickly. High step up and down without any handles or bars. A liability I would say. We were too tired to leave. Oh, plus, we used Choice Hotel points for that horrible place. What a waste. So we will NEVER stay there again. It was a decent place to stay when it was a Comfort Inn. The guy at check out seemed bothered that I brought the keys to the desk. He keep asking about our security deposit. I told him we better not be charged a thing since we didn't use anything or even get coffee. We didn't eat breakfast. We couldn't wait to leave. He was so aggravating and I could not understand what he was talking about. I just walked out of the lobby. I can not understand the 5 star reviews, Probably family or friends reviewing. Awful experience.
