We stayed at the Gateway Hotel in Copperopolis for two nights and will definitely stay there again. The property is lovely and immaculate. Beds were very comfortable and every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and courteous. It's a very small town and there are only a few restaurants, but the hotel is literally across the street from the three restaurants and a delightful coffee/ice cream shop. The property has a pool and fitness center which we used every day. We have a family cabin in Arnold, but decided to stay there and I'm so glad we did. I usually am cooking, cleaning, vacuuming, doing laundry and changing linens when we stay at the cabin and I may decide to stay at the Gateway Hotel instead.in the future. Had a very restful and relaxing stay without all the work.

GGuest UserOur room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were disappointed that even though we were in a non-smoking room as all the rooms are. The people in the room next to us smoked in the walkway in front of their door during our stay. From the looks of the property (cigarette buts everywhere) there seems to be no enforcement of smoking restrictions. The property needs a designated smoking area away from non smokers.

GGuest UserWe were in room 23. It was a delightful little room - perfectly sized for the two of us. My husband golfed while I did scrapbooking in the room. Very clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful, friendly staff. The only ding I would give the stay was the traffic noises from Hwy 26. But even that did not distract from our stay. We will return!
