Outstanding
I stayed here overnight on my way to Nags Head on June 11, 2022, & it is a gorgeous & spotlessly clean hotel! The lady at the front desk on Saturday evening was very helpful. The ladies at the breakfast in the morning were friendly too! The suite I had was perfection & the bathroom was especially immaculate. Compliments to their housekeeping staff. I thought it was brand-new Fairfield Inn, but they said the hotel is 5 yrs old. It is well-cared for & maintained for sure! There are limited dining choices around this hotel, but in the charming town of Washington - there are a number of restaurants & cafes. The riverfront in the county seat of Washington NC is pleasant to walk along plus take a look/see at their Underground Railroad Museum. Lots of history here!
BBetty HWe rented 3 rooms we arrived at hotel it was locked the lady at the desk had to let us in. There was a sign on counter that stated 1 no ********* 2 no burning candles or essences. The bathroom in common area you could not use the lady said. No overnight staff for their safety due to drug bust and staffs safety. Got to our room and you could smell urine and smoke and mold and mildew. The 2nd room you literally you didnt need a card to get in you could just push the door open. The 1st room we went in smelled of piss and dirty floors and when someone turned the ac the front of the unit fell off. The door strike plate was gone. They tried giving us another room and that smelled highly of smoke, mildew and mold and i have copd and can not be around that. As we stated this was unsafe and smelled. We tried getting all our money back the lady stated we couldn't get both nights. They refunded 1 and only 3/4 of my deposit. Even a deputy outside was talking to my friends husband and stated this had had several drug bust and issues that he gave him a few options of safe hotels in which we went the Hampton. We even called priceline and booking to get our money back and to let them know how unprofessional and how unsafe and dirty and nasty this hotel was but I want people to know to stay away from here. There were mattresses outside and looked like torn curtains it was just bad. I have a video of my friends husband pushing the door opened without using a key.
GGuest UserThe room was pretty cleaned, but could be done better. The bathroom room door wouldn't close. No water pressure. No smoke detectors. I'll not be staying there anymore, you can count on it. Need to do some work on the rooms.
