Best Avon Hotels

Lovely stay in this quaint country inn. We chose it partly because it is pet friendly and so pleased we did! From a much welcomed glass of wine in the beautiful foyer to the spacious grounds, this spot was perfect. The hot buffet breakfast was included in the cost so be sure to enjoy. We will return and it is our new favorite hotel as we trek on to Maine!

The floor in the kitchen wasn't exactly clean... maybe cleanish, but not clean. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The last night, I woke up with blood on my neck and a dark spot above it. I discovered that it was a spider. Twenty minutes later, I saw a pretty good-sized spider in the bathroom that I had to kill with my shoe. You might have a spider problem at the hotel. The staff was pleasant; to be fair, I did not tell them about any problems. It's a nice place to stay and very convenient for the medical treatments I was having.

Mom's night out with 2 of my girlfriends. We enjoyed dinner and drinks till late at the Twigs restuarent on the second floor. Our room was VERY clean and so comfortable. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and cozy. It was very nice and quiet too. Exactly what we were looking for. The complimentary breakfast was really good too! We had such a wonderful time.

The overall accommodation feels good, the location is quiet and quiet, next door is the library, opposite the local museum, quite cultural and artistic atmosphere, parking space is sufficient, is an excellent travel experience!

Spent an overnight in this fabulous, luxury hotel with all the elegant amenities one would expect in an expensive New York hotel. World class art in the lobby made the entrance to the hotel an eye-popping beginning to stay. Room was exceptionally comfortable and noise free in spite of being downtown and on a corner. Bed linens were impeccable and soft, bathtub was big enough for two, staff were kind and friendly. The Artisan Restaurant downstairs in the hotel for dinner was exceptional and Delmar breakfast was served there in the morning which was a delight. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone wanting a resort like experience without having to travel far to achieve the Zen like feeling!

I booked this Inn for a last minute trip. It was lovely, peaceful, immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful; there are complimentary hot beverages in the lobby; there are also delicious cookies, fruits, and newspapers . When I got to my room, I found more treats, chocolates! It had been a hard day, so I was especially grateful for the warm ambience. The room that I had was spacious, elegant, very traditional, with a super comfortable bed and a fine sofa. The temperature controls worked perfectly. I did not have time to stay for the complimentary breakfast, but appreciate that it was available. Oh, yes, I would love to stay there again. Thank you!

I hope that the blanket of the room should not be shed. I have a lot of hair sticking on all my clothes. I have been going home for a long time, it is a little troublesome, the other is excellent, the service is good, the room is comfortable!

The hotel is very close to the high-speed entrance, convenient to travel, a lot of parking spaces, and the hotels in Farmington are more cost-effective.

We had an error on our reservation that was our fault...mistakes happen. When we realized our error, I called the general manager and she was so helpful in putting everything right for us. She really went out of her way to put the customer experience first and made sure that we enjoyed our time in the Hartford area. I have stayed here several times over the last few years and 3rd to 7th October 2023 I had 2 different rooms. Both were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, spacious (especially room 314 that is bigger than many one bed apartments) The front desk staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Seriously lots of places could learn a lot from these guys and girls. The kitchens in the room are handy and there is ample storage. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom is provided with plenty of towels, face cloths and toiletries. I can only think of one way to improve the place and it would cost very little. It would be better if there were some outside seats, benches or picnic tables. There is loads of land around the hotel and this would be a welcome addition. Thanks
