There is pros and cons to this place. I wouldn’t say it’s a place for people that come from the UK or Ireland, unless you know fluent Turkish as their English is very little. Google translate was our saviour staying here. On the first night arriving to Bitez Gardens, we were told our room wasn’t ready and we arrived here for half past 12 at night. They had to put us into a family suite for one night. We were told someone would come and move us rooms by 11 AM. 11AM comes and still hasn’t been moved rooms when we had plans for the day we got there. We were told by 1 o’clock we would have our room. By one o’clock in all fairness we did get our room. However we were put into a room that faced where the kitchen staff were having their breaks. No view of the pool or the hotel building itself just a wall outside across from our balcony that looked onto the road to the hotel for their food and drink deliveries. Which to me felt a bit frustrating because we didn’t have a room when we arrived and to not even get a view of the pools and the hotel itself was upsetting especially travelling from Scotland. The room itself was kept in good condition housekeeping were kind and always made sure we had our little bins were emptied and they always made our beds or changed them. And they cleaned the floors as well regularly. The room does have a mini fridge, and a hairdryer. And a little tv. Air conditioning included also. The hotel has three swimming pools. In all fairness they kept the pools clean every night we seen maintenance using nets to collect any debris that was in the pool like leaves that fell from the trees and they put chemicals in the the pools so we were satisfied with the cleanliness of the pools. 10/10 with the swimming pools we loved the pools. If you’re not a cat person then this place might not be for you there is a lot of cats there and they are very friendly. However they are strays, and we noticed they pooed nearby the pool a lot. This is no one’s fault though the hotel does do its best to try and make sure there isn’t any mess which we did appreciate. The kitchen staff work really hard they are always running around serving people. The food is very limited but that being said it is cooked to perfection. I loved their food their Turkish meatballs or their homemade pasta was my absolute favourite the deserts are gorgeous I personally loved what they served, the only thing that was a shame was I think they need more space for more food, the times of the food being served could be managed better. And I’m saying this because they are meant to serve snacks from 2PM till 5PM and me and my friend noticed they’d not have food served through those times it was meant to be open so we would need to go to the shop if we were hungry. We have been coming to ambrosia for 13 years and over this time we’ve seen some changes and this year was much better hotel seems to get better every year the only thing we didn’t like was the same breakfast everyday for 2 weeks which was Turkish breakfast, it’s lovely but not for us everyday, but we just went somewhere else for something different. I want to give a shout out to the staff on the front Ahmet Alalp and Genghis but also a lovely lad that made our beach day lovely by doing the simple thing like bring ice to keep our drinks cold (sorry can’t remember your name) and to a gorgeous young lady that started the same day we arrived she didn’t stop running around keeping everything tidy. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel from [18 Aug 2024] to [21 Aug 2024]. Unfortunately, this stay was far from what I expected, and several issues severely impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the behavior and attitude of your staff were particularly disappointing. Manager Hilal was very rude behavior, lacking experience, professionalism and unresponsiveness to requests. I want management to investigate on why, she was having such behavior and check if there were room available at 11 AM 18th Aug 2024 for early check in. Manager HILAL was very angry and wanted me to cancel my booking and simply don’t care about guest experience. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was sadly lacking during my stay. Secondly, I requested one large bed and got disappointed to know that they have all single bed which is joined by room service staff and again same manager HILAL was very rude and telling that joining two single bed is same as one 1 large bed or king size bed. This was unacceptable and not at all in line with the standards I expect from a hotel of your reputation. Moreover, when I brought these issues to the attention of the management, handling of my complaint was inadequate and left me feeling even more frustrated. This experience has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression, and I am considering whether I would stay at or recommend this hotel in the future. I believe that such issues should be addressed promptly to prevent other guests from facing similar dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could investigate these matters and provide an appropriate response. I am also open to discussing how this situation could be rectified. The overall hotel environment and conditions are pretty good, but I lost a pair of Bluetooth headphones in the room. Because it automatically connects to the phone, I found that the Bluetooth headphones lost connection in the hotel room that night. Strangely, it was automatically connected the next morning. When I opened the door, a waiter happened to pass by... I told her about this and hoped that she would find it and give it to me. I still didn't find the headphones until I checked out.

I have stayed in dozens of domestic and foreign hotels and I have never encountered such a disgraceful business and operator. Don't be fooled by the good comments received thanks to its operators in previous years, it is in a very bad condition right now. The public areas of the hotel are covered in dust and filth, dead bugs on the stairs. When you enter the room they give as a cleaned room, a thick smell of dirty wet cloth welcomes you, the bottom of the bed in the room may not have been swept for at least 1 year. The carpet around the bed has turned gray from dust and filth. Sparkling water in the bathroom. Air conditioner hasn't been cleaned in years. Even a light tap on the sofa raises a cloud of dust. You can't see yourself in the mirror because of the mess. Just like abandoned houses in horror movies, my allergy attack started within 5 minutes of entering the room. I do not even go into the details of the arrogance of the operator and the fact that he gave us a hotel management lesson with his scarce knowledge! We left the room within a few hours at the expense of burning the money we paid in advance for 2 days. When we asked for a refund of our money for at least 1 day, disrespectful speeches and threats were added to the arrogance. Totally REASONABLE!
