Downtown is more convenient. However, renting a car is not convenient, and parking is still chargeable. The gym also charges. The court style of the hotel, some people feel style, others feel scary. You can live without driving.

The hotel was right in the centre. I stayed in room 303. Small with double bed though considering i booked single room. Room was clean and tiday and compact. Dud not have kettle or fridge and no glass could be found. The night receptionist was very helpful, cheerful and found me a glass and some water.
Overall, it is close to the airport, clean, no carpet in the room, newly renovated. There is no elevator, and you have to carry your luggage yourself. The most incredible thing is that the shower room does not have a water retaining bar. The toilet leaks after a shower and the floor is full of water. It is recommended that you can live without a shower for one night.

The hotel is located near the train station in Tunis, so it is easily accessible, but it is a little hard to find because it is located in an alley.
There are local markets and supermarkets nearby, and a short walk will take you to Tunis' main street lined with cafes. It is also less than 10 minutes from the French Gate, which is the entrance to the Medina, making it convenient for sightseeing.
The room is clean and has all the basic amenities except for the lack of a refrigerator. The breakfast is repetitive, so you may get bored if you stay multiple nights.

The family hotel in the old town is relatively clean and the decoration is very characteristic. Go out and you can turn around in the corn field. Great for travellers who want to experience local flair

Excellent
GGuest UserIt was a great choice, I was landing at night, so I decided to stay a night at a hotel close by the airport. My sister and her kids checked in earlier and they had a blast. Great service and an amazing diverse and delicious breakfast we enjoyed the next morning together. I have to say, there was only one bit of detail worth mentioning, the frond desk lady helped me call the cab, but she did not mention using Bolt, which is a more expansive taxi service and forgot to mention that she also obviously chose the Comfort option which cost me more at least a 60% extra charge than the normal price. which was displayed on the meter when we arrived but the cab driver asked for more money than that.
Overall, we had a nice short stay and enjoyed a late checkout to chill and recover from my trip.
Thanks to Novotel Team for the delicious food variety.
GGuest UserMixed review, but overall too pricy hostel for the quality of the service. Having a good location and a cute decoration isn’t enough. Pros and cons below :
Pros :
- Amazing location in the heart of the Medina ideally located
- Cute hostel with beautiful tiles
- Kind and helpful staff
Cons :
- The room we booked in advance was not available when we arrived. Instead of a double bed room, we were put in a bunk beds room with no explication or apologies. No solution, accommodations or compensation were offered to us afterwards. Very poor service from the hotel on that side and I saw online afterwards it’s not the first time they’re doing that
- Noisy hostel with no soundproof rooms at all. All the rooms are close to each other and open to the dining area with the breakfast starting at 7:30am and people coming back very late at night. Earplugs very much needed
- Average breakfast, the quality of the products is poor knowing what is available in the area. Be careful with water as some plastic bottles for breakfast are filled with tap water
- Be aware you’ll have to walk at least 5min in little paved streets after taking off your taxi and finding a taxi to leave the area won’t be always very easy
SSeisencSingle bed room, small but enough, very good location, excellent food and beverage, great hot water supply.
The gentlemen at reception are very helpful to call taxi, etc.

Very Good
JJinjiangseReally very good, the room is large and clean, there are 4 kinds of pillows. The executive lounge on the 5th floor is delicious, and we often stay in the lounge and don't want to leave. The staff are also very enthusiastic.
AAyaoxyThere is another hotel on the east side of the hotel. The rooftop bar there always plays loud music on the speakers during the weekends, which is very noisy. Other than that, it's ok. The room is big enough and the breakfast is good.
AAnonymous UserClean, modern hotel situated about a fifteen minute drive from the airport. There is a bar and restaurant on site and the Bellini bar next door is a good option for food too.
GGuest UserContinued to live.
If you don't have a lot of money for travel/business trip, this hotel has good value for money. Definitely not a place for tour groups.
It's very close to the train station, about a five-minute walk. It is very convenient for a day trip to Sousse and El Jem. To go to Sidi bou Said and Carthage, you need to take a bus to Tunis Marine, which may take 15 minutes on foot.

Sstarboy ashaniHonestly speaking. It's good for the cheap price but could be a bit cleaner.
Lifts are old and the lift door sensor dnt really work do doors squash on u.
The room I requested when booking, wasn't the room I got. However, it was a massive room with queen size bed and a double, which were quite comfy.
Bathroom bath too messy, it's like they patch painted bits of it.
You can hear every noise from another room and in passage.
View through the window wasn't good as shown in photos. Images advertised by hotel are a lot more different when you're actually there.
Hotel had no source of clean hot water. So I don't recommend bringing your baby here. I had to buy thermost and bottled water and go to the cafe around the corner and get them to warm it.
Air conditioning was rubbish in the room I got. Toilet couldn't flush properly, have to take lid off and press from in there.
No iron, no kettle.
Very helpful Staffs, 3 nice bars, regular room service.
GGuest UserGreat location and very kind staff, let me check in early and left me in peace for the duration of my stay. Hotel is a little dated and amenities are a little basic but it’s cosy and has nice views. Balcony door didn’t open but wasn’t too much of an issue. For the price and location this is a good option.
