The hotel was easy to find, closer to the beach than I thought when booking. Some nice places to eat nearby. Caution when swimming! There is a white wall in the pool, it’s not easy to see when you are in the water. It separates a section of the pool and the wall is not marked. Around 8-10 inches below the water surface, no markings and I swam right into it. The pool chemicals were extremely high, very strong and hurts your eyes when swimming under water.
Staff were pleasant, checkin was quick and someone showed me directly to my room. Extra money for a pool side room seemed hardly worth it. Disturbed easily by kids playing in the pool at 7am.

I'm so glad that booked the wrong place! I actually thought the hotel would be in Hua Hin and not Cha-Am but staying at Vann Resort was absolutely perfect! Everything was great! Staff, Room, Pool, Service... everything was on top! I stayed in Vann Plus Suite -Room and it was awesome! The room had everything you need and to able to just open the door and get into to the pool or just lay next to the pool relaxing was great. Everything was modern and nice! The rain shower and the bathtub was superb! I got brekfast to my room every day and they also bring hot chocolate as a goodnight drink to you in the evening. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. the location isn't the best, its away from the beach... but you have a free shuttle service from the hotel that drops you off and pick you up at Cha Am beach. It's not the hotels fault if YOU don't check up the location of the hotel! I'm sick of people complaining about locations of their hotels when they can check it before booking! Breakfast was delicious, I tried 4 different things. If you just want to relax and enjoy your holiday in a nice quiet place, this is the place! Room Amenities: - Laptop friendly safe - Hair dryer - Rain shower & bathtub - Fridge - Aircondition & ceiling fan. - Coffe, Tea & Daily Water Bottles - Showergel, Shampoo & Conditioner (2in1) - Soap, Showercap, Sanitary bags & cotton buds - Smart TV (50”?) with Netflix, YouTube and more. Will I come again? Definitely 🥰

PROS - friendly staff at check in -well appointed and spacious rooms - great pool overlooking the beach - great Thai food at room service - peaceful - no street noise whatsoever -extremely relaxing -great breakfast CONS -nothing else near by - constant high tide so could not walk along beach - food at Goat (restaurant) was average and overpriced (only option if you don’t have a vehicle, or you don’t want room service all the time) -could not get food or drinks by the pool -no English cable tv channels, however it was a smart tv so Netflix works All in all, we enjoyed our stay and it was extremely relaxing. This place has serious potential to be great. Instead of writing a blog on the hotel I thought it best to highlight the pros and cons, although the restaurant did not appeal to us, I am sure plenty like it. It was just that there Thai options in room service I felt were better

The hotel is very good. Cross the road and see the sea. I would like to deduct 1 point from the facilities because The hotel informed us that Netflix is available but must be our own code. I thought it belonged to the hotel. Prepared a lot of movies to watch with friends. In conclusion, I didn't watch very little haha. But overall, it was very ok.

Fantastic getaway beachfront little paradise. The ocean loft is the best room there is and certainly worth the price, it has 180° sea view unblocked and is very spacious. The swimming pool is located literally by the beach and you can lay down contemplating the waves. The resort has food, drinks and decent breakfast and the bellman is very helpful. The beach is super quiet and clean water, I would come back for sure and if you are looking for a beautiful sea view, nice rooms and a totally beachfront location avoiding crowds this is the place.

CCarrie DENGA very satisfying experience, what we liked the most was the slide in the swimming pool and the poolside billiards. We all had a great time.
The overall feeling was very clean, and the kitchen facilities were also well-equipped.
The host was very thoughtful, as they had prepared some cakes in the refrigerator for us as a snack before we arrived, and the next day they also brought us fruits and distilled water. The most considerate thing was that the host helped arrange a massage therapist to come to the villa for a massage, and it was really good, and the price was cheap.
Although the location is not in the city center, it only takes 15 to 20 minutes by car, and there is a beach within a 10-minute walk. If you don't drive, calling a car is also very convenient, so I don't think the location is a big problem.
We unanimously recommend it to our friends around us!

There was big couch/place to sit/play in the middle of room. We used it for our suitcases, which was very convenient for us. MMJ98First impressions: The hotel appears small from the front but stretches back quite far. It is noticeable that there is not much parking and I am not sure what accommodations they make in busier times of the year, however, it wasn't a problem for us on the day we stayed there. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived and we were well received by the staff who spoke good English and explained everything that we needed to know. Heading upstairs and seeing the restaurant and the swimming pools we were surprised by the size of the place, given the small frontage. There are multiple swimming pools located near each cluster of rooms so they're not always too full of people and there's plenty of space to relax in the pool and swim. The restaurant may appear small but breakfast times are split and you tell the staff when you arrive when you'd like breakfast so you'll be guaranteed space in the morning.
The Room: We chose the seaview room with a jacuzzi. The room had a nice view of the sea and the bed was very big and comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the size of the bathroom. The hotel provides slippers, dressing gowns and flip flops which all came in really handy. Additionally, items on the mini bar were complimentary which was a nice touch. The jacuzzi was also a nice addition but one complaint about the room is that not all of the controls worked for us. Also we found that the lighting in the room was a little strange and most of the lights were controlled by a large panel of switches next to the bed which was not very practical. Other than this the room was immaculately clean and the design was very nice.
The location: The hotel is not too far from the main road which makes it quite easily accessible by car. It is located on a road which does not have much else so it's appropriate for taking a relaxing walk, however if you want to find a shop you need to drive. We went to Cha Am town centre in the evening for the night market. It was very close by (by car) and had lots of options for food. The hotel also offers food in the evening, but there isn't anything else within walking distance.

The restaurant, bar and spa in the hotel are good choices if you don't want to go out. The price is not cheap but with high standard of five star hotel. GGuest UserThis hotel is not exactly smack in the middle of Cha-am nor Hua Hin. However, it is a true retreat by itself. Like an oasis that pops in the middle of the rural landscape just north of Cha-am, the weekend here was a bustle of activities. Very popular with families with kids. There were so many kids here filling up the main and kids’ pool on Saturday. As the weekend ended, on the late afternoon of Sunday and a good half of Monday, the resort turned peaceful. Finally, there was more water then Children. The kiddy pool has a large air-filled dome sprouting water sky high. Both kids and adults were having fun climbing up and sliding down the feature. In the main pool, they have a permanent floating obstacle course called a Wibit. It was enjoyable watching people, including children, crash and fall into the water as they attempted to complete the course. So Sofitel Hua Hin is just filled to the brim with amenities. They have a kids’ club, a mini golf full of mythical figurines and a cycling track. One can ride their complementary bicycle, or have children rent their mini mopeds, scooters and other toy-ish vehicles. They have a games room (but it was hot), a mini tennis court and a bigger one that doubles as a basketball court. 4 pools in total on this land parcel perpendicular to the sea. The one near the beachfront has a jacuzzi, and there is yet another one in front of the gym. A beach restaurant fringes the not so friendly ocean. The sea was rough and murky. The water came up the break wall that prevents the garden from spilling into the sea. There is a mini sand beach with a few deck chairs, but it wasn’t much of a beach. Breakfast and dinner, we had them in their main restaurant called White Oven. It was really an oven, the air-conditioning needs some work. Otherwise it was pleasing to sit outdoors in the light morning breeze. The breakfast was extensive, a good wide mix of local and western dishes. Moo Ping (pork satays morning version) was superbly tasty and tender. The gravy for Kanom Jin (Thai rice noodle) was of a good rich density. There was also ice cream served in the buffet. However, the chicken rice was off, and their Pla Tong Kor (dough fritters) was a failure in texture and in taste. For the two mornings I had them, I do not know if it was just me, they had a strong hint of something medical. The room we had was So Family that has two bunk beds tucked into the side behind the master bed. The room was a whopping 60 square meters and was intensely decorated. If you live in a condominium, you will wish your studio is as trendy as this. The bathroom is massive. I love the floor to ceiling shower best. They have push buttons to turn on the water. There is one that produce moderate rain, another for heavy rain, and I was looking for the third that produce hurricane. It is not available. Moreover, staff services should be more focused especially those in the egg station during breakfast service. They showed some facial expressions when we ordered scrambled eggs, egg Benedict.
Rather than those issues, this hotel is located in the nice location. We can either go to Hua Hin or Cha-am in a very short time.

They still said that we dont need to worry, because they only issued one room card, other guest wont be go inside. The MAIN POINT is THE STAFF WENT INSIDE ROOM WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE and TOOK SOMETHING *Superior room also not clean correctly and have leftover garbage from previous guest *the pillow is hard and too high not comfortable for sleep *they night lamp broken one(deluxe) *not provide toothbrush for amenities. *their shower water so small and not stable, took so long for take a bath due to the water volume. DdianaaG1668MSIt's located in an area mainly for Thai tourists, no foreigner families.There is no public transportation, tuktuks, taxis or anything around. If you want a taxi need to order it. The beach was with high tide during the day because of full moon, so we couldn't bathe. The restaurants around are at least 1 km away or the local option is to go to a thai shop on the beach with alive seafood and they cook it on the spot. Not for our kids. The lady in the reception is Thai, she is nice but no English at all. They cleaned our room the third day. The room was clean and spacious but no windows to open through the night, so we had the AC in high temperature all night. Not what we prefer.

MM30***41Klai Kang Won Palace the place is under a vast refurbishment but still worth a visit, entry fee was 60 Tbt which goes along with various donation boxes dotted around the place towards the upkeep, when we visited we were told that you cannot go upstairs as this is still being renovated , you can however take a while and stroll around the grounds, there is a gift shop and small tea room at the end of the tour, also there are various attractions relating to the history of the palace. on comping out of the palace there are several bars, shops and restaurants,not fine dining but a traditional place to eat.one tip arrange your transport before you go as we did and had a 8km walk back to our hotel but hey it was a nice day!!

MM30***41Visited this park with my boyfriend and two friends. We heard there were monkeys based on other reviews but unfortunately we didn’t see any when we went (4:30pm). It may be better to go earlier in the afternoon. Overall very pretty. There’s a running trail and outdoor equipment you can use. If you enjoy working out it’s a great place to go for a walk/jog/run. We didn’t stay long after we couldn’t find monkeys but wished we would’ve had time to go another day for a run. Check it out!
