The room was very clean and very close to the beach. There was a small swimming pool that was perfect for children to play in. There are relatively few tourists here and there is no place to eat because I spent a day island hopping. If you like liveliness this is not the place for you. To eat, you have to drive 5-10 kilometers to find restaurants and supermarkets.
This is everything I like, stylish bungalows are located in a well-kept green park, which is constantly cleaned, watered, workers cut and clean things. A large territory, but not all inhabited. We arrived in the evening, didn’t immediately see all the beauty, but in the morning we were delighted by the water lilies that bloomed in a small pond in which fish live, by the way, they were happy to have bread, if you’re there, don’t forget to feed them))). There is a pool at the end of the territory, we went once, there is no point in splashing around in the pool when there is a beautiful beach and a wonderful sea right across the road. There is no one on the beach, no one at all all day, no more than 3-5 people in the morning and evening. Breakfast is not included, you need to pay an additional 200 baht, standard, everything is fresh, instant coffee. We had dinner at a nearby cafe, inexpensive and not very tasty. Maybe there are better eating places, but we were there for 2 days and didn’t bother looking. The biggest plus of the hotel is the sea, the beach and the wonderful green area
years ago for sure. I thought this one was especially important for people who are traveling with their pets to be aware that the accommodations set aside for pets are drastically different than the accommodations for people without pets that are depicted online. There are no photos for you anywhere to see these units in advance (I do a lot of research when I choose a new hotel and I look at every possible Internet outlet for information and photos, reviews, etc. and I look at every photo very closely. and for further information I am a photographer so I know quite clearly what a photo depicts and what it doesn’t) and when I got there and was shown to the little house designated for dogs/pets and I looked at three of them, I found them to be nothing like the standard that was represented online… Not even close ! They were super dark and dingy. The furniture was very worn and draperies were very worn and tattered, and just super low quality of everything in the units. Things were clean looking, but with a very strong mildew smell. The bathroom could not be much bigger than an airplane bathroom and a lot less nice. It’s my understanding that the rooms on the Internet that you see online that are around the pool are much newer and those are probably what is being represented by the photographs. The problem is that the units that are designated for animals are not shown and that was the big surprise and a big disappointment. Clearly these are the very very old rooms that may have been part of the original hotel. It’s sad that the hotel doesn’t see the benefit of upgrading those rooms as well. My hope is that the Hotel may also see this and Reconsider renovating/upgrading these older cottages. The hotel staff were very helpful and returned my money in full when I told him I just simply couldn’t stay there. And for some background I’ve lived in Thailand for many many years. I’ve traveled a lot, and I’ve traveled with my pets a lot and I’ve never seen anything at this price that was this poor.

We arrived after a close to 500km drive from Phuket. The hotel , at the end of a 1 km somewhat deserted road and just a few feet from an endless quiet white sand beach looks like a very small redish building. We parked in a 6 car informal parking and walked to the counter. A lady gave us our breakfast vouchers and tickets exchangeable for returnable beach towel without hesitation. We sadly were the only customers that night thanks to Covid. Inside is a large circular garden with a big swimming basin à Jaccuzzi and areas to play in the water surrounded by the buildings with the rooms and a 2 story structure where the restaurants are. Our room : a “family cottage”was not a cottage But a room atop 4 steps next to another similar room to form a house. And all rooms around the property seemed to be laid out as such. Our lodging consisted of a first room with on the left a make shift bed 20 cm from the floor constructed with a raised board box with a 4 inches mattress open on the near and right side and wall on the other two - a hell of a treat to get in and out - a desk, a window to a small terrace with no view, another small room with two bunk beds and a storage under half of one of the bed, a 2.5 sq meter shower room and a separate toilet with a tiny sailboat type WC. A small fridge under the desk and a ratan arm chair completed the scenery. Materials used kind of Thai traditional wood dyed dark and straw. Contrary to agency advertisement : no bathtub, no cable TV - had 2 chanels France 24 in English and France 24 in French. AC worked well and was quiet and water pressure was excellent. Place was clean but small and dark even with the blind open. To complete the disappointment the restaurants were closed and under renovation, the garden was also under renovation with trees being cut off. We were able to eat in a ground floor bar structure with an extensive menu. The food was good and priced ok for a hotel. The bar also served cocktails and drinks. Service was friendly. Waiters had to go accross the garden and up to the second floor (Thai or US second floor- French 1st floor) of the restaurant to get the food.... which arrived tepid with a saran wrap on top to keep it hygienic Breakfast was served the same way. No more buffet due to the virus. Except for fresh orange juice it was extremely mediocre. Industrial white bread tinned ham and sausage.... so-so coffee. Our disappointment came because we paid per day more than we had just paid in Phuket in a 5 star hotel with a 55 sq meter modern room, unlimited access to club lounge with soft drinks all day afternoon tea and evening unlimited cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast with the best hotel cooked breads and viennoiseries all this for 12 guests - 6 rooms occupied in a 250 room property. Of course right on the Adaman sea beach. Our gratitude to the manager if Coral hotel for spending time with us explaining what was available in the area, supplying us with a leaflet and a map and off
At first it doesn't look bad but the extra bed (1000 baht a night) was a matress on the floor. The room wasn't clean, the pool was dirty. But the biggest issue is the poor quality of the 'door' to the pool, it had massive gaps (up to 2cm) for ants and other creatures to get in. Restaurant was closed, they said because of technical problems but it actually is caused because of the few guests.
Me and two friends did a roadtrip from Bangkok to Phuket and decided to stay the night at The theatre villa. When we arrived, a bit late, but were warmly welcomed. The food was excellent, as was the breakfast with homemade bread and eggs picked from free roaming chickens in the garden. We rented the family room with a single bed and a bunk bed. We are all pretty tall, but all beds were plenty large. The room was not very large, but contained a fridge, tv and had a bathroom with shower. A nice ocean view was visible from the balcony. In the morning we went down to the nice beach which is located just beneath the Villa. The beach connects to a few restaurants and pleasant bars. We only stayed for one night but I highly recommend it.
I went to this resort with my family last November. There is a swimming pool. and next to the sea There is a buffet breakfast, which includes boiled rice, fried rice, omelettes, etc. The night air here is very pleasant for a walk. There was a gentle wind blowing from the sea. cool weather As for the room, it's very clean. There is a cool air conditioner to sleep comfortably. spacious room The bathroom has a water heater. There is good privacy here. And I really like the ice cream here. especially the strawberry flavor It's sweet and has a bit of strawberry flesh. It's delicious. If there is a chance, I will visit again.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Baan Grood Arcadia for 4 nights and we wished we stayed much longer! This place is a gem! The standard of quality is surprisingly high and pleasant. Bungalows are very spacious, well furnished, very comfortable and above all, CLEAN as a whistle! The surroundings are manucured and very well maintained. The pool is perfect! Sqweaky clean! And a pristine beach is waiting for you right across the street! The breakfast are plentifull with a choice of asian and western foods. The food at the restaurant is very very good, everything we had on the menu for dinner was fresh, tasty and well presented. Seafood salad is one of the best I've had! The staff may seem a little distant but it's mostly due to the language barrier. Remember you are in southern Thailand, please don't expect everybody to be fluent in English... All in all, we'd go back in a heartbeat, as a matter of fact, we will go back!!!
GGuest UserWe've been stopping in Ban Krut on our way to and from the south for many years and it's always nice to find somewhere new to stay. This resort is at the northern end of Ban Krut beach and not on the main road, which is a plus when you've got kids and don't want to hear too much noise (though Ban Krut is hardly a thriving metropolis). The pool is one of its biggest draws and the children loved it. It's clean and pretty big. The rooms are clean and a decent size. As usual, sockets to charge are generally in the wrong place or few and far between. Pretty standard bathroom for this type of resort - expect things to get wet if you leave them near the shower. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're either stopping en route or staying for a few days.
Bang Saphan Resort is very good. Very impressive because we didn't plan at all. On the way back to Phuket, I just thought that I had to find a hotel to sleep and then travel again tomorrow. Arrived at the resort at around 10 pm. Opened the room and it was the answer. For our family of 4, there was 1 king-size bed and 1 extra bed. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Woke up in the morning and came out to have breakfast. I was amazed by the beauty. The resort is by the sea. Beautiful 🤗 There are many photo spots. There is a cafe. There is a swimming pool. There are bicycles for riding. Most impressive. Will definitely take the family back to stay again. 🫶🏻
GGuest UserI think the pictures of the hotel were taken 20 years ago, it is nothing like it, very disappointed, the place and its surroundings are falling apart. Very tired hotel, across the road looks like a bomb a has gone off, everything is broken and falling apart. Do not stay in this area, go to Ban Krut instead, it's beautiful.
