I stayed here on a three night business trip: selection was based on: brand; cost; location to where I would be working (which was not in the centre of the city). The review is based on those criteria. Located to the north of the city, and with quick access from the ring road to the north, this is a modern Holiday Inn with ample on-site car parking, with drop-off to the front and overnight parking (with hotel access) to the rear. Check in was quick, staff were polite and efficient and I was soon on my way to my second floor room. The rooms are of a decent size, comfortable bed, tea / coffee facilities, iron and board and a good sized TV (which I never switched on). As stated in other reviews, furnishing is a bit minimalistic, and although the desk was adequate, there is really only hanging space for clothes, it was quite reminiscent of a Scandinavian business hotel. The bathroom was great, good shower and lots of hot water. It did have one of these large, shallow, sinks, I'm not a fan, especially if the plug mechanism was erratic (in my case). Although my room faced the front, I was not really aware of any traffic (noise). Breakfast, included, is served from 0700, and was really quite good (better than I was expecting). Also downstairs is a small, comfortable 24/7 bar. Not a huge choice of drinks, but more than enough to please. The one thing to be aware of though is that the hotel does not serve dinner, and it is a bit remote. There is a good coffee shop next door, but the nearest food is about a 15 minute walk away, and that is for fast-food type stuff. Bistros or restaurants are closer to a 30 minute walk (it takes 30-35 minutes to walk to downtown). I knew that beforehand, and quite like walking, so for me it wasn't an issue. And of course the room rate is competitive compared to the hotels nearer the centre. There's also no gym, and I do like a gym where I'm staying. So if you aware of those limitations, but want a modern, comfortable place to stay at a competitive rate, this really is a good option.
Austria Trend Hotel is a hotel that is extremely well managed. The people at reception were especially helpful to me in using the computer to write an article. The room is extra large with a beautiful view of the country side and the window opens so one can get fresh air. The maid was especially through in cleaning the room. The restaurant offered a varietz of dishes and the waiter was very nice. The bus stops right in front of the hotel and with a card it is easy to get to the downtown area. They also have a spa and masssages available but I simply did not have the opportunity to use them. I definitely recommend staying at Austria Trend Hotel.

ATTENTION !!! ATTENTION !!!
# praise# Regarding the layout of the room, mosquito control measures, location, sound insulation, toiletries, satisfaction with the adjacent activities; the hotel staff is very good and kind. The facilities are perfect, the scenery is good, and the breakfast is delicious. The transportation is also convenient, about 20 minutes to the city center. Here to remind everyone: from the airport when must say hello to price, here taxi has their own pricing rights, no ceiling, easy to be slaughtered.

This small hotel is a hidden gem. The location was ideal for the railway and bus station. A 10 minute leisurely walk. A 15 minute leisurely walk to dragon bridge. Anna greeted us and arranged to stay late as our flight was delayed. She was very welcoming and made us feel at ease straight away. Anna made the stay and if we were to visit again would be disappointed if she was not there. She is a real asset to the hotel. The room was spotless. Bed was comfy. Lovely sitting area under cover where you can have drinks or food. Breakfast was adequate. If you want a clean, comfy, safe place this is it.

New and modern hotel. Ideally located - within walking distance from both train stations and the central part of the city. There are several good restaurants nearby.
What I liked:
1 . Very friendly and helpful staff
2. Spacious room with a great view
3. Comfortable bed and accessories
4 . Delicious and varied breakfast
What I didn't like:
1 . From time to time a cracking sound is heard in the ventilation system. The repairman came twice, but found no problems. However, it really ruined my sleep.
2. The gym has very poor equipment and poor ventilation. You must breathe the smell of rubber from the floor.
3. Packing cost - 30 euros per day
