The resort consists of a hotel and an apartment complex. Hotel is old but attractive. Only the hotel rooms have a direct sea view. It consists of two floors without an elevator. The rooms are large, quite noisy, and simply furnished. Shower in the bath, small fridge, and good, wide beds. You can boil water. Cleaning every day. Very friendly staff. From the room you walked onto a balcony with 2 chairs and a table. And via steps directly into the large and beautiful palm garden and further directly to the dunes and the sea. Wonderful! And what peace! In the garden there is also a large swimming pool with sun loungers. So everything at hand. Breakfast very complete and very good. Through a double discount promotion we only paid 45 euros per room including breakfast. So in February. The disadvantage is that you either have to go to the village for dinner every evening with a hotel bike or your own car. Hotel restaurant closed.

Another secret I’d like to keep to myself but my first visit to this oasis of luxury has to be complemented. The resort is beautifully presented with incredibly friendly helpful staff, It felt like I had the place to myself. The golf suites along the edge of the course are 6 star. I stayed in 822 and if you want a spectacular view this one is great. My three nights included two rounds of golf and use of the practice facility which was incredible value for money. The course is a Jack Nicklaus master piece with a wonderful selection of varied holes and a handful of spectacular par 3’s The course has suffered terribly from the drought in past years and there are one or two dry spots. However it looks like it’s on the mend and certainly didn’t affect my enjoyment. I will say there are multiple tees on each hole and my tip is to play from the one that suits your handicap. Neil is the head golf professional and did wonders for my aging game with just two hours coaching, he will advise you which tees will enhance your enjoyment. I really can’t say enough about this place and I’ll be heading back soon with my wife.

We are just nearing the end of our 10 day stay here, we have had a wonderful holiday, yes its 90% german citizens here and TUI should probably make that clearer when booking but part of me is glad they didnt as it may have made me book somewhere else, i have attended fitness classes in german but the staff made every effort to explain things to me in english and i enjoyed them just as much, my husband joined the tennis tournament and he had a great time, the german people he played with all spoke good english and they were laughing and joking together, my kids made some good friends too. The silent disco was wondeful having 3 channels on the headset, german, english and house music, it was so much fun. The bands and robins singers in the evening have been great. I havent struggled to get a table in the evening, in fact we have got the same table every night and our waiters have been wonderful. The food is world class and fresh. I was dubious about coming all inclusive as we normally go on villa holidays, but we have had the best time and wish we could stay longer. This is definately a 5 star resort, if you are booking just go with the flow their isnt really a language barrrier if you just put in the effort to speak to people. A localização é excelente conjuga o silencia de aldeia com praia a 500 metros. O apartamento está de acordo com o que as fotos apresentam e as dimensões bastante agradáveis. Limpeza diária, não profunda mas aceitável. A parte menos positiva prende-se com a falta de luz, principalmente na cozinha onde se torna ridiculo, ter de colocar o candeeiro da mesinha de cabeceira para poder ver o que fazia na cozinha. Outra situação prende-se com a pouca palamenta (utencilios de cozinha), devia ser revisto os packs de cada apartamento.

This is generally well-managed, but could be so much better with a few improvements. We stayed for 10 nights in a 2-bedroom villa. The villa was generally clean, though quite dated. The reception staff were very friendly and very willing to help with any problems, except that there shouldn't have been problems! There was one restaurant / bar staff, who never smiled and and was always grumpy The bathroom smelled of sewage most of the time, which was very unpleasant. The beds weren't great, and were so short my feet hung over the end (I'm not very tall). While the rooms and bathroom were cleaned 5 days a week, I don't think they changed the bed linen. The internet is only available by renting a Wifi router from reception (€1/day), but they don't have many -- we asked for one when we made the initial booking and we got the last one. But the internet was pretty slow, I was often switching it off and using my phone. Clientele is very international, with most guests (I think) Portuguese - there were Germans, French and Dutch and Irish, and a few Brits. The pool is nice, but in the afternoons, and especially at weekends it got very crowded, with lots of non-guests driving up with their cars. The hotel sometimes checked our guest cards to make sure we were guests, but not very often, and it seems the wider town took advantage of that -- I told the reception we didn't appreciate our hotel being used as a municipal pool. The sun umbrellas can't be moved, and are pretty small, so lots of people moved the chairs to be under the shade of the trees. Breakfast was fine, but only open 8:30-10:30, so if you have an excursion with an early pickup, you will miss out. The evening buffet was also fine, though the restaurant was devoid of atmosphere, and sometimes had weird music (like a loud DJ playing house music at 8:00PM when it was mostly families!) The local Cabanas town is very nice with some nice restaurants, and there was a Fisherman festival on at the time. The beach was easy to get to with the dedicated boat service, and is a great beach, but only one bathroom, which isn't very much for such a well-used beach. The beach restaurant fills up fast (I couldn't get food there), and the beach chair rental is expensive (€23 for 2 chairs and a parasol), but if you bring your own sandwiches, it's fine. Tavira town was a €9 Uber ride away, and also very pretty, with lots of evening music festivals on. If the hotel refurbished the rooms to a more modern standard with better beds, fixed the sewage issues, put bigger sun umbrellas round the pool, had better security to restrict the pool for guests only, and put proper Wifi in, this would be a lovely place, but unfortunately, this fell a bit short of that.

Have just returned home after a week at this hotel. I noticed it had mixed reviews. My personal opinion of this hotel is it was perfect for my needs. The hotel is very clean and spacious. My room and bathroom were spotless. Free air con, free safe. A very decent size fridge that kept contents very cool. Free wifi all over the hotel and no problems with it. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. As we’re the bar staff. A “hi” to Martin who was super sweet. A huge dining area that was very clean. Lots of choice for breakfast. Cereals, yogurts, fruit, breads, cakes, cheese, meats, preserves and honey etc. There was also cooked bacon, sausages, fried and scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms etc. Toaster at hand for toast. The bread rolls are baked fresh in the kitchen each morning and are delicious. My one and only negative is the choice of teabags. Needed three to produce one cup of weak tasteless tea. There’s a large sunbathing area with good quality sun loungers. The pool was stunning too. I would most definitely return to this lovely and well run hotel.
