I need a new vocabulary. Having previously used all the superlatives to describe other resorts, I need new ones, as this is an order of magnitude beyond all previous resort vacations. The physical resort, the food, the service, the diving, the attitude of the staff, everything. I was met at the airport, guided through the ferry terminal, picked up at the ferry landing, taken to the resort, and greeted by name, by everyone, all week. At no time was I ”just another dollar”, and at no time was any member of the staff less than entirely cheerful and helpful. I could get used to this, real easy... It's as if I were a valued guest, instead of just a customer. Imagine that. To make this shorter for those who don't want to read the rest of this... I began my plans to return on the way home. I rarely go anywhere outside of the USA twice, (been there, done that..) Not this time. I am going back and I will bring as many friends as I can. It's 14 hours on a jet from LAX to Manila, and 4 more hours after that. I hate travel, but this was worth it. I'll take Philippine Airlines again next time too. They don't treat you like cattle, sheep or dirt. I have now felt respect while travelling, and I like it! The flight wasn't so bad. I am 6” tall, weight 240, and was comfortable in economy. Free wifi, a tv with free movies, tv shows, music..etc.. a very pleasant flight, in both directions. Food OPTIONS! You get to choose. Wow. On arrival at Marco Vincent, I was greeted by name, shown my room, a crate was outside my door to put my dive gear in, it was the last time I handled it all week. My room was large, extremely clean, super comfortable with a small fridge full of water, a table w 2 chairs, a big shower, AC unit, very firm mattress, spotless soft white sheets, a 32” TV with plenty of channels and it was quiet. All meals were as good as I have had anywhere. This place only has 32 rooms, so the buffet menu is not extensive, but I always found more than enough of what I like to eat. The quality and presentation was always top notch. The quality of the food extends to the dive boat, Big Beth. They have a chef aboard and those meals are the same quality as at the resort. Remember, this is a day boat, and they have a chef aboard serving freshly made gourmet meals. (Sure beats grabbing a sandwich at Walmart on the way to the lake....) The diving itself was like nowhere else. I saw things I didn't know existed.. an electric clam? WOW! Nudibranchs, mantis shrimp, lion fish (where they belong), a few octopi, at least three, maybe five, different morays, frogfish, giant clams, miniature seahorses, scorpionfish, colors that I can't describe...more different fish than I could list in a week... Every dive was something new, and all conducted from a really nice boat, the nicest boat I saw there. Big, clean, outfitted for diving with camera stations, charging stations, camera tanks, full emergency gear, oxygen, AED. not to mention the galley where the chef w
Huge disappointment. I had selected this hotel to take advantage of its immediate seaside location. But the strange layout of the hotel means that most of the rooms overlook the corridor, requiring the curtains, which are blackout curtains, to be closed. Result: from a super bright room with possibly a sea view that you were hoping for, you find yourself in a completely dark room. There is therefore no point in being by the sea. (Photos taken with the door open and curtains open).
The general quality of the hotel is average, and the prices charged are therefore excessive.
Room size ok, but:
- no chair or table available. You only have your bed to sit on, eat, work,...
- noisy air conditioning, which you therefore cannot leave running at night if you want to sleep properly.
- wardrobe, but no coat rack in it.
- a refrigerator, but which does not get cold, or even heats up.
- no shower gel available in the shower
No problem with cleanliness. Good quality bedding also.
Simple breakfast, served on a plate.
Not a hotel where I will return and which I do not necessarily recommend either.
Absolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly.They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue.
Thank you so much fo rhaving me and for all the laughs.

Authentic Philippine cuisine, the environment is good, there are not many tourists, because it is an independent island, there are crab boats to and from the back and forth for the whole family, you can have an extra bed, but the quilt is covered with sheets, very cold!
It is suitable for children, the pool can be played casually, and there is a small kayak that can be easily drawn. Breakfast is free and there are many kinds to choose from. But the menus are all in English, you need to download the English quick translation to order. The environment is very good, you can see it by opening the video yourself. Suitable for vacation and leisure, not suitable for too busy. A little distance from the white sand beach. But traveling can let the hotel call the tug.
Free toast ➕ bacon ➕ egg ➕ coffee for breakfast. The rooms are relatively small and the accommodation is very quiet. Someone cleans the room every day, but the bath water is relatively small. There were also 3 power outages during the stay. Good value for money, about 10 minutes walk to the pier, there are many places to eat along the way, I will stay at their home next time.
It was assigned by Ctrip, and the previously booked room was oversold. This room is on the mountain, it is tiring to climb the mountain every day. However, the store’s service was superb and helped me solve many problems. If it's a vacation, it's not bad if you don't go down the mountain. If you go down the mountain, it will be very tiring. It takes 20p to 50p to ride a motorcycle up the mountain. Sometimes the mountain pass charges a fee, so sometimes it will be more expensive.
Booked two rooms for our stay. We have total of 6 adults and 1 child. Room #7 is adequate for my family. Room #2 got the big bed (king size), this one is different, the sink is outside the comfort room. (this is funny). The cleaners are very nice and polite including the reception. I woke up in the middle of the night around 2:30 am because of a man on the phone just in front of the balcony. So yeah, messes my sleep for sure. In the morning, i dont wake up because of my alarm, it is because of noises coming from outside even with that glass enclosure MAN! You can hear them. They love to talk loud in front of the porch. These are locals. They like the shade in front of the rooms. Couple of them talk loudly. And then when you go out to enjoy your coffee then they start to bother you. You need boat? Island hopping and on and on.. my God! The hotel have generator which is a good thing because ”Ursula typhoon” was in Mindoro last week. Wifi is not strong enough. When the signal on the TV is out, wifi is out too. I only have the chance to connect on and off to wifi from 23-24 of Dec. then from 25-26 no WIFI. So if you're looking for a reliable wifi, maybe this hotel is not for you or bring your own. Even we are at the front beach i dont think that the beach is clean enough. So No! we didn't go swimming.
The hotel is beautiful, the location is very remote, suitable for the elderly, hahahahahaha, go out to the sea, and, at night, you can see the stars, the best is to see the meteor, really beautiful, although quiet and remote, but Still have a lot of foreigners to choose from, very beautiful
Process: Go to the luxury family room scheduled for diving on National Day. It is about 100 meters away from SABANG beach. The entrance to the mountain for the first time is not easy to find. Breakfast has American and noodles. The American default is 2 slices of grilled meat, 2 fried eggs, 2 slices of toast, small sauce jam and butter; if you want noodles, cook noodles;
Overall rating: Very good
Advantages: good service attitude and good sanitation; environment is good, there is a drop, and the vegetation is rich; the rooms are basically detached houses, and the rooms on the hill can overlook the entire SABANG beach; quiet and ecological, and there are insects calling at night Sound, there will be cuckoos flying to the balcony in the middle of the night, and geckos can often be seen outside.
Disadvantages and suggestions: It is not convenient to go diving without a safe, it is recommended to add a small safe; add a clothesline on the balcony to dry clothes; add a mosquito killer;

MMafetsgOne of the best hotel that fits for families and dont want to buy expensive food from outside,coz villa Pamana Inn hotel allows you to cook to enjoy a meal with your family,very accommodating staff 10/10,very clean rooms and their pool was well maintained,decided to extend 1more night to stay.Kudos to the handa on owner👏👏👏
GGuest UserExcellent place, small and really friendly, staff are brilliant and helpful, especially the Manager, I stayed in one of the nipper huts which had air con and was really clean. Pool is nice and hotel is right in the beach. Also next door in the frog bar they sell top quality, great homemade food . Thoroughly recommend the summer Connection .
JJessieca Marie TolentinoI booked for Family Deluxe Room with Kitchenette but what I received is just a Family Room with 3 beds without partitions which is way different what I have selected online. The manager asked to upgrade the room but with additional fee. We’re on a budget and could not afford to do that. I immediately asked assistance from Trip.com because the voucher I’ve received is no kitchenette and it’s inconvenient because instead of us can cook to save we need to buy pricey meals in White beach. Lucky, Howard offered us to compensate regarding the inconvenience because it stressed me out. Thanks to him.
GGuest UserHad the pleasure of staying at La Laguna Beach Club & Dive Centre for a few days. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. They organized a private boat to pick me up in Busuangas as the public ferries were canceled on the day of my arrival due to a gale warning. The food was great, and I loved the boutique style and relaxed nature of the hotel. The hotel is beautifully located right on the shoreline only 600 meters from the center of Sabang. The dive shop is part of the hotel making diving a breeze. I have been scuba diving for +30 years and have been diving all over the world. Puerto Galera boasts some of the best shore-based diving in the world. The soft coral is stunning and the biodiversity is amazing. Great diving for looking at small stuff. Visibility averages between 15-25 meters which will disappoint some, but not me given the number of critters to look at. You will be hard-pressed to find a better and more professional run dive shop. Top-notch, new equipment; great friendly dive instructors and attention to safety. Most of the more than 30 dive sites are just 5-10 minutes away by boat giving you time to do more dives and rat the hotel in between dives. La Laguna Beach Club & Dive Centre is located only 3hrs away from Manila making diving possible even if you have only a few days.
YYAFANGThe position is a little bit off
There is a dive shop in the hotel
There are ow courses in the swimming pool most of the time
The restaurant on the second floor serves Chinese food most of the time
It is recommended to take a boat from the ferry
GGuest UserEl Galleon is probably the best diving experience I have ever had. The diving is INCREDIBLE, with up to 5 days per day! The staff, from the divemasters to the restaurant staff to the folks who take care of your rooms are excellent. Great diving, comfortable beds and rooms, and also, GREAT FOOD! We spent six days in June, which is the offseason, and the way to go. A lot of our dives were just the three of us because of the season. The staff even took JUST ONE of us for a couple of night dives! Yet despite the offseason the waters are smooth, warm with great visibility. Each dive includes a divemaster who maximizes your bottom times (50-60 minutes are average) and shows you all the sights. TONS of fish, and the widest assortment of hard and soft corals and anemones you are ever likely to see. DIve sites are only minutes from the resort, with enough surface interval time back at the resort between dives so you never need a deco stop. Dollar for dollar probably the best value anywhere in the world. You've got to try this place! A reasonably short van ride from the Manila airport to the resort. You can dive the same day you arrive. Don't miss out!
GGuest UserThe hotel is in the alley at the foot of the mountain. The entrance is a relatively large open-air swimming pool. The water in the pool is very clean. Our room is on the second floor with a balcony. Although the room is not big, it feels very warm. The bed in the room is very soft and comfortable, and the air conditioner is very quiet and not very noisy. The shower has hot water but the water volume is not very large. The hotel can call horse* chicken to the room, you can also order, and also provide simple kitchenware to use in the lobby. We stayed for a long time, tired of the island's Western food, Filipino food, Korean food, cooked noodles and occasionally ate it. Overall, the hotel is moderately priced and the price is relatively high. The waiter was very polite, the room was cleaned in detail, and the drink juice accidentally splashed in the corner of the wall was cleaned. Unlike some hotels, the surface is cleaned.
AaldenZhaoCost-effective, cheap during the May Day holiday. Internal hygiene is good, towels and other supplies are dehaired, toothpaste, toothbrush and shampoo are charged, it is best to bring your own. Very close to the beach, 3 minutes walk, there are many diving clubs next to it. Surrounding dining is also OK, Korean restaurants are not bad.
Cclairejen93Good: The beach was amazing and some inns are nice and accomodating. I got no problems with the boatmen especially the ones in kayaking activities. The sand was also satisfying. White beach is an almost perfect place to beach bum and have a little walk by the shore in the morning. During my island hopping experience, there was a lot of places to beach bum also and snorkel. Bad: Whenever I tried to relax at the beach or simply eat food, rude vendors (including massage therapists) treat you as a walking ATM instead of a human being trying to enjoy the visit. They will keep bugging you even if you said you've already bought the same items or service from them. Another problem I encountered in white beach was the way the tricycle drivers demand you to spend overpriced transportation fees. The guide fee wasn't even included in the tour. It's like they treat every tourists (Filipinos especially from Manila and foreigners alike) like a walking ATM. I even witnessed my massage therapist talking to someone on the phone referring me to ”It”. She was speaking with a different dialect but I could understand some of her words. I wish someday they change the way they treat their tourists especially those who were only there to unwind from their day-to-day problems. Most of the food are overpriced. I MEAN how can they sell salted egg for php 40? In Manila, its just around php 20 below. Even a simple sachet of 3-in-1 coffee cost like 20 pesos each. Friendly advice: Just ignore those rude locals and try to make the most out of your vacation. If they insist, just ignore them and look away. To save some money with food, i suggest you just bring your own especially eggs because it can be really expensive here. If you don't want to, I suggest also to just buy a bulk order of grilled liempo and chicken or bangus (boneless) near the restaurant called Foodtrip and take it out or just eat there (if you like unlimited rice). If you like to try tapsilog or any food that is 'silog ', there is a small carinderia just in front of the tricycle terminal inside the resort. Tapsilog is only 80 pesos with garlic rice there. Bring your own 3-in-1 coffee sachets and milo milk sachets. If you have thermos for hot water, the better. You might also want to bring your own shampoo and soap. Make sure to have a van transfer going to the resort and going back to Mueller port or where your ferry is. Avoid the tricycles as much as possible when necessary. If you can't, make sure you have a stack cash with you to pay the
