Arrived late and not sure as to where we are staying and found this must stay again gem. The place was the quietest place we have stayed on our Southland visit and while arriving late entered into a well lite and very warm spaces room. The staff are so friendly and made you laugh with the warm conversations and the owners are beautiful friendly and a lovely welcome from there cute little dog. We will be back next year on our southern travels this place was what we needed for sure.
The aunt at the front desk press the doorbell to come out to check in, fill in the personal information, check in without anything, give the key directly and bring it to the room, and give a bottle of milk
The car parked at the door of his room, all rooms on the first floor. The room is not small, with a small living room and kitchen, bath products, hair dryer, kettle, microwave oven, stove, towels, no slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush
The room is clean and has a heater. The town is not big, a few hundred meters away are restaurants, shops, and gas stations, but there are not many people.
The hotel does not include breakfast. I will leave after eating bread and check out at 10 o’clock on time. I just pass by here as a break
Fantastic hosts and great funky rooms, everything you need, not over the top but always clean, tidy and perfectly presented. John and Sandra can't be beaten for looking after their guests, really pleasant and welcoming people. Each room has an entirely different colour and theme, so pick a different room each time you stay to enjoy an entirely different decor. Ask Sandra for decorating tips - but steer John on to horses, probably safer than asking him if pastels are in this season. Easy wander into town through the park to enjoy Geraldine's charms.

Great experience! Spike five-star hotel! Fully equipped (recommended to buy some dumplings in the Chinese supermarket in Christchurch or Queenstown, the motel has cooking utensils to cook dumplings, warm Chinese stomach), very clean and comfortable, and have the opportunity to come back later, must book such a motel, five-star hotel What is really not compared with this, wood has enough to live...
The room is newly renovated. It tastes great, especially in the afternoon sun, but when we check in, we upgraded the suite. The Gerard is the big countryside, there is no nearby, and it takes about three or five minutes to drive to the center of the town. It is convenient to pass a temporary stay for one night.
Great stay in Geraldine, not far from the centre of town (5min drive). We stayed mid winter but the room was nice and warm. Comfy bed and great shower. Host, Ken and Jenny were helpful and friendly and we had an outstanding cooked breakfast. This house is in a beautiful garden setting. Ken is happy to give you a quick tour and is a very knowledgeable gardener. This was a great find and the reviews reflect the excellent quality and value of this B&B. The Indian restaurant (Jenny recommended) in town is excellent, one of the better Indians we have had anywhere.
Beds were super comfy and our 2 bedroom room was huge! great for young children with plenty of space inside and the lawn right out the back door. Motel is the cleanest I have ever seen and was great that the room got refreshed when we were out. The owner was great to us and showed my husband to our room plus turned on the heater which was awesome when we were getting in late at night. We hardly noticed the traffic on Sunday morning but was a bit louder on Saturday - nothing some ear plugs can't fix. We will definitely be choosing to stay at the phoenix motel again.
