We stayed in the family room which had twin bed plus a sofa bed. The beds were comfortable. The room had a desk and adequate storage areas. There were sufficient European style plugs, however, it would have been nice to have some USB power sockets in the room. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The bathroom had a good range of toiletries. Wi-Fi speeds were good and there were a few channels on the television including BBC News. there were distant views of the harbour and the fjord from the room. The room was quiet with minimal outside noise despite the railway station being opposite. There was a good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice of both hot and cold meals. despite the hotel being busy with two groups, we did not have to queue for breakfast. We ate an evening meal at the restaurant. We opted for the buffet, however, this can be expensive. If travelling with a child ensure that you are billed correctly for the child which we were not. The main issue with this hotel is the parking. The hotel parking lot is in adequate for the number of guests staying there. This leads to many guests parking in a public parking lot which is opposite the hotel and is chargeable from 9 am every day. As Mo i rana wants to attract tourists this needs to be sorted out. If I was travelling to the area again, I would stay here, however, as mentioned the car parking needs sorting out.
We liked it very much. The location of the hotel is good, very central, directly in Mo i Rana. The hotel has its own free car park, but it was already fully occupied in the late afternoon. An early arrival is recommended. Check-in was smooth and very friendly. Our room (604) had a beautiful view of the fjord and was simple but fully equipped. Only the bathroom lacked sufficient storage space. The fika coffee hour was great, the dinner varied with several desserts to choose from and the breakfast excellent.
We stayed one nigth here, on our way to Trondheim. Very nice room, clean and quiet. The breakfast offers what you need. And the service is nice. A little bit anoying with all the telephonecalls from the management in the evening. The reseption was not employed at our arrival. And we went out for dinner....and then they wanted us to show up and pay for the stay. It should not be a problem to do this with check out!

In addition to breakfast we serve waffles in the afternoon. We also offer a hot supper from Monday to Thursday (in the period September till May).
