This hotel is well positioned in the centre of the town along the main road. Well it is a basic hotel, one cannot expect too much in terms of facilities or amenities. However, it is a little pricey for the hotel in this category. Generally it is clean. Some wall paint is peeling off. Good size room. It serves the basic needs for travellers who just want a decent place to rest for the night. Comfortable bed & quiet clean room. These are important qualities.

I came here bcos of the good reviews of how good this hotel is. Imagine by the time we arrived we cant get in as there was problem with the door. It took around 10mins until my mom cant wait anymore bcos she cant stand for too long, so they give us a new room WHICH has a broken plugs. Imagine paying for a good money but this is what you got. So we complaint and they changed us to a new room which later has a SPARK the moment my dad charged his phone then the whole room went BLACKOUT. Then they changed us to a new room for the 3rd time AND still got a broken plug with a missing iron.
Brrakfast spread? Not that divine. 2 days in a row the fried rice is bland. How can a hotel serve a bland food? Whats wrong with you guys chefs? How come? Other food is ok ok only.
Cant believe la what we went thru here. Maybe just not our luck. The hotel sent us a fruit tarts as an apology and complimentary breakfast for 2 kids which they dont eat breakfast π
If you had to change your customers room for 3rd time, learn how to step up your apology game like upgrading the room or something rather than just a free breakfast and fruit tarts. Will i come again? Probably not. Thank you

As far after viewing some negative feedback at A Famosa, we have some worries but still giving a try for our short stay in 4 bedroom pool villa. We checked in around 4pm and everything go smoothly. Our unit no is 1022, end lot which we have so much of privacy and fun time in the villa with kids. Villa is clean. No mosquito, aircon works. Although utensils in kitchen a bit less as we have only plates and cups, not even a washing detergent provided. You have to bring your own cooking stuff if you plan to cook there. We have a great time in the villa. Thank you A Famosa.
