Ask for receipt when paying cash! No issues with hotel/rooms. But we got overcharged $330pesos extra and because it was paid in cash couldn't proof our point. First room was charged CC correct. Rm#2 was paid in cash at same rate as first room we handed her the correct amount. Room#3 was charged at lower rate (their error). The receipt showed a lesser amount than what we actually handed her in cash. Later we were asked to pay the difference due to their error but we ended up paying $330plus pesos more for room #2 than we should have. We paid $330plus pesos twice for the same room! Three hundred plus pesos may not be a lot to US but it's the principle of the situation!
This brand new hotel is the first of many new amenities that will be available soon at GDL. In construction is a Shake Shack, Sushi restaurant, Wings and more. The hotel is right in the terminal and very close to a Starbucks and the Priority Pass VIP lounge which is open 24 hours and has its own security for quick entry into the terminal. The hotel is beautiful and new and is only lacking in a few areas. First, the hotel store needs to carry more grab and go items. Second, with the exception of the front desk, very few employees speak English. Lastly the gym, which is very well equipped, needs towels and headphones. The staff are great, there’s lots of security and the rooms are typical of a modern day hotel. If you want, they will give you a runway view room. Here’s a pro tip, if you want to avoid paying airport prices, there’s an OXO convenience store located across from the domestic terminal that has all that you need plus some extras like fresh tacos, tortas and coffees at ridiculous prices.
Absolutely an awesome place to stay for business trips. Very friendly staff, clean and high quality rooms, pool-table, swimming pool and the hotel is actually in a shopping mall so there’s plenty of restaurants and movie theatre and things to do. The only thing I would put a minus on is the breakfast. I would love to see some vegetables on the buffe like cut tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, boiled eggs and so on. And the coffee - of my god! It is “coloured water” at best. Luckily you can take an espresso from the machine because the brew coffee is horrible. All in all I would say it’s a great place! I absolutely love the hammock in my room. Never seen that before …

in the Hotel Encore this time our experience was comfortable, very good attention since our arrival located a good place, excellent place, clean, with good lighting I have liked the easy access
Hotel is in a prime location in the La Gourmeteria Center. Everything is within reach. High end, delicious, restaurants, bars, movie theatre. Super friendly staff. There's a donut shop right in front. Easy access to the main road or bus stop within a few blocks.
Great experience for an airport hotel! Super convenient to airport with 6 am shuttle for morning flight. Very modern, IKEA like room: kitchen, sofa bed, desk, very comfortable king bed. Nice big gym, pool, laundry, game room. Unfortunately we had to leave by 6 am so breakfast was not yet available.
This is a space write write about my room, location , and experience. - room was presentable but the sheets were stained, and so were the comforters, even if they gave you a ”clean” set, they were dirty. - I only reason I booked Hotel Mariois is due to their website information. The Hotel's website clearly states that the Guadalajara airport is 15 minutes away, not true. The distance from the hotel to the airport well over a 15 minute drive. In traffic it's over an hour, regular traffic flow is approximately 20 to 25 minutes. - The area is not safe for travelers as it is located in a not so desirable neighborhoods. - the internet connection is 89% of the time disconnected or the front desk claims that they are ”working on it”. - the windows are secured with a plastic white pipe, that's their security lock. - I don't recommend this hotel for women traveling alone. - the view from my window was to a run-down building, they are no good views no matter what room you select.
I don't like the service of this agency, because I was asked to pay for the app to book, even a payment voucher, when they arrived at the hotel, they charged me again at the time of my check in. The hotel I commented that my booking was made but no payments were reflected to them
The rooms are spacious and bright, well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable, allowing me to enjoy quality sleep every night. The cleaning work of the hotel is also done very well, and the rooms and public areas are spotless.
The breakfast is rich and delicious, both local and Western dishes are excellent. The location is also very convenient, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and the travel is very convenient.
Very Good
