Best Olm Hotels

We were touring by car and didn’t want to take it into the city, where parking is scarce and expensive. This very modern hotel is located on the main road into the city centre from the west. It is between two close-by bus stops with frequent buses into the city centre that are all FREE! There were several restaurants and a small supermarket within easy walking distance. The room had metal blinds to keep out the light and air conditioning, which was just as well as opening the windows would have let a lot of noise in from the main road. The room was very clean with a nice modern bathroom and would have been even better had it had tea/coffee making facilities and perhaps a small fridge (or an ice machine in the lobby). The door to the bathroom was weird, being just a sliding door with absolutely no privacy because it didn’t block any noise! Also, the inside of the door didn’t have a handle. Breakfast, included in the price, was really very good, with excellent coffee, juice, cereals, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, cheese and cold meat, boiled eggs, bread, pastries and preserves.

The food was very good,menu recommended,on beautiful terrace behind the hotel,large parking available.Price/performance ok.Highlight above the server, fun and professional at the height.Nevertheless like again.

Comfy place, staff is very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Can seem a bit away on map but it's close to bus stops for buses that go to the city centre, and as buses are free it's very convenient. Very quiet place. Nice atmosphere in the breakfast space.

Alors que les 3/4 de la terrasse était vide, la serveuse ou gérante de l’établissement ne s’est même pas donné la peine de nous proposer une table à l’ombre à l’extérieur (32 degré) alors que diverses tables à l’ombre étaient inoccupées et que nous étions accompagnées de ma maman de 96 ans (!!). J’ai connu cet établissement durant ma jeunesse et j’adorais y venir avec mes parents; c’était un établissement typique du coin familial. J’ai aujourd’hui étais très déçue de cet accueil déplorable, voire complètement déplacé et carrément irrespectueux ! À fuir et à ne surtout pas recommander !

No. No. No. No. No. Electric outlet in bathroom didn't work; had to dry hair in main room with a handheld mirror. Shower is a handheld sprayer - sprayed water all over bathroom, needed to use all our towels to mop up the flood; the drain in the bathroom was coming apart and floating around our feet; ”King” sized bed is actually two twins pushed together. Our ”Suite” is a room on a very busy noisy street. Ancient hotel with small minimal cosmetic changes. No in-room temperature controls, room was hot af (but couldn't open windows - see below). No blackout curtains. Hotel did not advise us 3 blocks around hotel were to be repaved on our weekend stay. Could not use hotel parking, had to park on street 2 blocks away. Crews started work at 6am on both Saturday and Sunday morning. Stinky asphalt and huge construction trucks. We realize this is out of the hotel's purview, but no notification from the hotel. Crickets. Nowhere near city center. If you choose this hotel, INSIST on park view room, call a few days ahead to get this guarantee. Would not recommend under any and all circumstances.
