The hotel is in the center of the island of Shijian, which is very convenient. When I went there, I didn't arrive at the check-in point. The boss was very happy to check in. Electric bicycles are free to rent, and it is very convenient to ride to the ancient seat of Wei Beach and Azhen Beach. The room has a washing machine, a kitchen, and the room is relatively large. There is very little food on the island, you can go to the supermarket to buy it yourself. I originally booked a two-day stay. The next day, the boss said that the wind and waves were too big, worried that I could not go back, and said that I could cancel it for free. Although the feedback is very slow and the boss's name is required, the boss is particularly serious and responsible and takes the initiative to give feedback. Later, the wind and waves were really big. Thanks to the boss. Recommended to stay.

The interior is similar to a nearby inn. . . At first I thought it was the same inn, but I was surprised to find out it was a completely different inn. According to what I heard, the owner of lagoon saw the interior of the inn and thought it would be nice, so he introduced me to the same designer. Even so, I don't understand how they can make it look so similar...even the Muji hanger is the same. It also felt a little creepy. However, this was the only accommodation available, so I decided to stay there as a trial. When I checked in, the owner spoke to me in a way that didn't seem like a customer business. Of course it's a tame mouth. I ignored him, but then he said a lot of other things, so I started to get annoyed, and then he started using polite language and changed his attitude. . . I have stayed at many hotels, but I have never seen such rude owners. I don't mind the smallness of the room as mentioned in other reviews, but I couldn't stand how small the bed was. Even as a petite person, I couldn't turn over smoothly, and when I lay down there was a painted wall in front of me...I couldn't fall asleep or feel rested, and I was sleep deprived. . . You can hear the voices of young people chatting in the courtyard and the music they play, giving it a guesthouse-like atmosphere. The atmosphere was different from Yuntaku, and I felt it was noisy. There is only one washing machine, and it cannot be used when the owner is washing the linens for the inn. Even though it's a guesthouse, I couldn't help but wash the linens in the washing machine for guests. Well, that's the feeling. Is it built like a row house and the owner's home is on the same site? I felt that I didn't like this a little. Overall, there was a minimum level of cleanliness. Personally, I don't reuse it 100%, but it may be good for people who want something as clean as possible and as cheap as possible.

I just left aka after a two night stay-was supposed to be three nights but s typhoon delayed our trip from Tokyo. You do have to walk 5 minutes from the ferry with your bags but we travel light so not a big deal. The room was small with two beds and that’s about it. There are two communal toilet and two shower rooms. The place is small, I think 6 rooms so this was not a problem. What made the place nice were the friendly staff. Always smiling and trying to help you. The ladies apologize for their English but we had no problem communicating. The food prepared was excellent. You eat on the patio all together at 6:20 pm for dinner and 7:30 for breakfast. The food had a good variety and very fresh with hisae cooking right next to the patio. We took the shuttle they provide to the beach twice and also took the little ferry to Zamami island 300 yen each way. The islands are very quiet and are for people that want a relaxing beach holiday with no night life other than a couple tiny bars on the islands. We loved our time on aka at the hanamura as this is what we were looking for.
The beach is truly paradise and the staffs were so kind and very welcoming. Do not expect luxurious 5 star hotel amenities though. This is more of a lodge kind of accommodation but it is very nice and the breakfast and dinner buffet was also great. My kids loved it. Lunch set had a really big serving and was also delectable. You just have to remember their opening hours if you’re not going out anywhere else. Would highly recommend this place especially for families. Excellent place and service!
The place is very beautiful! Important to notice that the road to beaches (shops and cafes) is very difficult for not prepared people. It took us about 25-35 min to take to Tokashiku beach.
Better to rent car or motobike or be prepared for a long walk.
The host was super nice, and assisted us in all questions.
The house is not the new one and have some not very fresh staff, but we were ok with that.
Before booking you should remember that it is a country house not hotel and you will be happy.
Also it is located not far from view point
