On the first Friday of September, after visiting Yahiko Shrine, I stayed with my wife for one night. The appearance is a seasoned thing that smells of the Showa era. At the same time as arrival, the guidance staff appeared from the entrance. I was invited by the staff to check in at the front desk. The interior has been beautifully renovated. After listening to the explanation of meals, etc., I went to the guest room on the 3rd floor. The room, which is thought to have been originally a Japanese-style room, is a twin bed room with wooden flooring. It is a style where you take off your shoes at the entrance and spend your time barefoot. It looks like it has been refurbished, but it is the cheapest room among the twin rooms, so the texture is reasonable. The special thing is the hot springs. Both the indoor and outdoor baths have a faint sulfur scent and are so soft that you will want to stay in them forever. There is no water bath, but there is a compact sauna, and since it was a weekday, I was able to use it almost to myself. This sauna can also be used during the morning bath, so after working up a sweat, lying down on the bench next to the open-air bath and looking up at the clear morning sky, I felt that my body and mind were cleansed. For dinner, a course meal is served at the restaurant on the 2nd floor, and for breakfast, a buffet is served at the lobby lounge on the 1st floor. I was satisfied with both quality and quantity, and it was very delicious because it was devised to incorporate local ingredients and local cuisine. As expected, there is only rice, and the deliciousness of white rice is exceptional. There was a little trouble at dinner, but when I checked out the next morning, the proprietress gave me a polite apology, and I felt once again that the staff was well taken care of. It was a hot spring town in a mountain village with nothing around, so I was able to enjoy the way I was supposed to spend my time at the inn. Thank you very much for your help.
The size, facilities and quality of the room are very good, especially since it is surrounded by the sea on three sides, and most of them are sea view rooms. The windows are large and the lighting is excellent! It is an 8-minute walk from the Sado Pier, which is very convenient for going to Sado Island! The only drawback is that the hotel is relatively ”isolated”. Unlike the hotels near JR, there are all kinds of food and convenience stores as soon as you walk out; there are almost no restaurants around this hotel. You can walk about 1 km to the fish pier of Pia Bandai, or walk 1.2 km to the Niigata Daily News Agency and Bandai Bridge to find food. If you like quietness, you can definitely choose this place. There is a bus stop downstairs that goes directly to Niigata JR or the city center (but it's only a little more than 1 km on foot)
Convenient because it is really in front of the station. There was a convenience store on the first floor and there were several places to eat in the same building. There was a lot of places to eat because of the station. However, the lobby was a little difficult to understand on the 4 floor. The station was overlooked from the room and I could want the train to come and go, which is good for people who like railways.

A clean and nice hotel.
The parking lot was a parking space that surrounds the site, but I couldn't park it, so I was guided to a contract parking lot a little far away. There is no particular problem.
The room is also a simple style, but the unit bus is quite narrow. It was a little painful for me who was hard ^^;
Amenity is the minimum required, and there is a vending machine on the 1st and 3rd floors, and a coin laundry on the 3rd floor. There are no alcohols such as beer, so you should buy it in advance.
This building is a room of a share house There is no staff to guide you It is a complete selfservice accommodation Everything from checkin to confirmation of available facilities is selfservice People who do not have the ability to check emails and URLs are prohibited from making reservations The URL for how to enter the room will be sent by email so please check it and check in As long as you have confirmed the email and URL you can check in at any time When entering or leaving the
We have arrived at the hotel at around noon knowing that we cannot check in before 4pm. The receptionist Mr. T gave us 2 smoking rooms and a non-smoking room. We showed him an email confirmation from Agoda that 3 non-smoking rooms are confirmed. Mr T said he doesn’t care what Agoda said and there is nothing he could do. I asked him to contact Expedia until we come back 4 hours later. He refused to contact Expedia. We came back after dinner and had no option but to use the smoking room with bad odour. When we tried to enter room 508, the door would not open, and we asked Mr. T to give us a different room. He rudely refused and told us to wait. It took an hour to get into the room using an “emergency” key. While we were waiting at the corridor for an hour the only word he said was “chotto mate kudasaiyo”. I have never seen a Japanese staff so rude in my life. We are so disappointed that such a rude person is working as a receptionist at Toyoko-inn. The hotel was inexpensive but should not be a “CHEAP” one.

It was a convenient and easy to understand place just across the road station and footbath.
The cleaning was well done and I was able to spend it comfortably.
The food was delicious. Especially the breakfast buffet was good.
I think it is a good hotel in Cospa.
It was good that the large communal bath was large, but I wish it was a hot spring of a more habitual type because the hot spring was tasteless and odorless.

Very Good
GGuest UserIt's on the opposite side of Bandaiguchi, so it's quiet. I had heard about the directions after getting off the Shinkansen in advance, so it was easy to understand. I was told to go down to the 3rd floor or the ground by stairs, but there was an elevator, and when I tried to get on it, I saw the hotel sign. There was a cold towel in front of the front desk, which was appreciated. And there are T-bags such as bath salts, coffee, and tea, which I used in the room. About room, it is very common. The air conditioning was weak, so people who are sensitive to heat may complain. The ceramic plate bath warmed my body and felt very good. I was sweating profusely and had a shower, but I immediately returned to the bath in my room, sweating away and feeling refreshed. Best of all, the breakfast is wonderful. With this, 800 yen is cheap. Full of homemade flavor. It was a time when vegetables were expensive, so I was impressed by salads and boiled dishes such as broccoli that were not frozen. First of all, we quench our thirst with tomato juice made with a mixer. As expected of rice. At this hotel, there is a contracted farmer, and the photo of that person is posted, so I was able to enjoy Koshihikari with peace of mind.
AAK520Excellent service. You got everthing you need in the room. Also got free coffee, tea, cake in the lobby. Free parking. Recommended for short stay. Huge bed very comfortable.
66469113004msmsI can't take the usual inn and use it for the first time. The public bath is changed by men and women. I can't stay when I like it, and I'm sorry. Although there is a public bath in a business hotel, it is completely different. △ The room is not so new, but of course the cleaning is firm. I am glad that the bed is a bit large. ✖︎ I'm sorry that the radio waves on Wi-Fi are weak. ○ The number of breakfast items is not good. It is interesting to make egg baking self without warming the fish. As a result, ok. Maybe you can use it several times.
GGuest UserI stayed on the day reservation with a single. I was kind. Amenities are a system to take what I want by myself. I will bring indoor clothes from front of the front desk. The room is smaller than I imagined, and it is narrow and difficult to sit on a chair or eat a convenience store lunch. The building was old and the air conditioner was not effective and the room was not cold. The bedside clock was also 1 hours late and tried to match the time, but I don't know how to do it. Is it broken? I couldn't hear the radio. Breakfast was reasonable but there were quite a variety. I lent a charging cable or kindly received it with color 々. I would like to stay again if I improve only the facilities.

Niigata City Aquarium Marinepia Nihonkai (Sea of Japan)
Jjkidd28The Niigata Aquarium is the largest aquarium on the side of the Sea of Japan! There are nearly 500 kinds of more than 20,000 aquarium creatures in the museum! There is also a very large sink in the park that is made into a Marin tunnel. You can see the beauty of the aquarium through the below! There are performances of dolphins and other creatures outside the aquarium!
Bandai Bridge
Jjkidd28The Wandai Bridge is the first wooden bridge in Japan. It has a history of 100 years and has not collapsed in the Niigata earthquake. It represents the will of the Niigata people! It is an iconic bridge on Xinnong Kawagawa and an important cultural heritage in Japan.

Niitsu Railway Museum
BBart SimpsonsXinjin Railway Museum:
Located on the inland plains of Niigata City's Niizu Town, Niigata began a strong period of industrialization beginning in the late 19th century, making the town a cornerstone of the Japan Sea coastal railway network. Home to many railroad facilities, it is often said that one out of every four local employees worked on the railroad during this heyday of industrialization. It was also at this time that Ainjin was compared to Maihara, which was famous throughout Japan as a major railway junction on the Tokaido Main Line. The Shinkansen 200 series (bullet train) and C57 steam locomotives on permanent display in the outdoor exhibition of the museum are particularly impressive!
