This time, I used the rice fields I went to for the first time as a place to stay without meals for fishing. The rice fields seemed to have just been renovated and had a feeling of cleanliness, and both the host and his wife were able to stay comfortably with good personality. If you have a chance to go to Nanki, I would like to use it next time.
In addition, the rice fields were equipped with a spacious and beautiful bathroom, but I heard that there is a national dormitory 600m away from this accommodation, and there is a large communal bath with an open-air bath with a view of the sea in the dormitory. , This time I used this large communal bath. I felt great not only fishing but also traveling. Thank you very much.

Good Onsen style hotel with sea view near to Kii-Tanabe station (very convenient if you will start a walking rout of Kumano Kodo starting from Kii-Tanabe).
The hotel is a little bit old fashion but every corner of the room and public spaces were in very good conditions.
Just be careful because there is some rooms with private toilet but with shared shower/bath, considering that is a Onsen style hotel (we booked a twin room with private toilet but we never image that the bath/shower was shared in the Onsen facilities).

Although the room is not big, it is enough for one person. The hotel is close to the railway tracks, so you can clearly hear the sound of the train passing by. The hotel provides a check-in booklet for the Kumano Kodo, which is very convenient for late guests. The breakfast is simple but filling. In addition, I received a small gift when I checked in on Christmas Day, and the front desk also provided free oranges. Considering the price, this hotel is very cost-effective.
