The renovation of this beautiful old building is elegant and sensitive, with all the modern comforts included without compromising the soul of the property. I stayed on a weeknight, and was the only guest, so it was very quiet. The service was personal and friendly, the room wonderfully comfortable, and eating breakfast in the lounge was a perfect way to start the day. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to stay more than one night. Thank you, Paysage Moriguchi!
Great food, great onsen
We stayed in a two-storey cottage, great for having a group of friends staying!
The staff even gifted me an indigo bag and a greetings in English at the end of our stay
Feel so warm and being cared in this hotel
Hope more people can see the warmth in Shikoku’s people ☺️🤍
We were able to stay in a large room with 24 tatami mats and spend a comfortable time with two people. It was a little disappointing that the toilet and washroom did not have a room. At first, I made a reservation with a plan without meals and contacted the inn directly to change it with meals, but the man who responded at that time said that it was difficult to change and the meal was difficult. However, when I actually arrived, I was grateful that the landlady responded and had dinner. However, from the beginning, I wanted the staff to unify the response. Radon Onsen and earth pillars were also good. It was a good memory with climbing Mt. Ken the next day. I also wrote negative points, but overall I would like to stay again at a good inn.

It is an old-fashioned inn that was renovated from a 100-year-old merchant house. The first floor is the Handa Somen restaurant, and if you make a reservation, you can enjoy creative dishes using Handa Somen. It is one of the charm that I use it! The second floor is a lodging room, and it is a luxurious room ✨ This is an inn that you should definitely stay when traveling to Awa, such as Mt. Tsurugi!
Sanuki Onsen is a hotel located in Yasuhara Kamihigashi, Shionoe-cho, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. This time, the grandmother made full use of various discounts, and the two-person suite room with two meals dinner was 9,900 yen in the room! I stayed at a bargain price. On August 5th, 2022, I walked through Sanuki Kodomo no Kuni. From there, we drove to Sanuki Onsen. About 30 cars can be parked under the building and on the ground. The catchphrase is “Takamatsu no Okuzashiki”. The lobby looks like this. The large public bath is accessed from the first floor by a connecting passageway. You can take a bath until 10:30 at night and from 6:00 in the morning. Bring towels from your room. Since this day is a room on the 4th floor, I will move by elevator. When you enter the entrance, you will find yourself in a Japanese-style room. The scenery from the window is like this. The Kabagawa Dam rises in front of you. The bedroom is next door. A table is set in the next room. refrigerator. The toilet has a warm water seat. closet. Wash basin. I'm going to the public bath, so I probably won't use it, but there's a bathtub, and it seems that hot springs will come out. It's a former condominium converted into a three-room suite. Even before coming here, I saw several such resort apartments. Wi-Fi is about 10 Mbps, so it's enough. There was no slowdown during peak hours. The hot spring here is Toro Toro, it was my favorite hot spring in Shikoku. However, it is far to move about 30 meters from the main building to the hot spring building. From there, you have to go down the stairs to get to the public bath. The first open-air bath is nearby. However, to get to the second open-air bath, you have to walk another 50 meters along the connecting corridor. However, the second open-air bath was right next to the river and was very nice. It was inconvenient that there was no outlet near the bed. Dinner is served in the room. Sashimi and dessert. The main dish is tempura. Then came the duck pot. First of all, toast with draft beer and lemon chuhai. This time the meal was the cheapest course, but this is enough for my grandfather and grandmother. The next morning, I took a walk to Kabagawa Dam. After returning from a walk and sweating in the hot springs, it's time for breakfast. The breakfast venue is the restaurant on the first floor. It's a standard menu of Japanese food, mainly grilled fish that went too far (sweat;). After eating, we drove on. This is a fairly large hotel in Shionoe Onsen. Stayed in the pet room on the first floor. Dogs are not allowed to walk outside the room, but there are plenty of pet supplies in the room. The guest room is a Japanese-Western style room with about 6 tatami mats and 2 beds. It was spacious enough. The food was pretty good for the price. It looked beautiful and I was satisfied with the quality. Soft drinks were free and paper cups were placed for takeout to the guest room. Above all, the staff was kind and fun, and I had a fun meal. Breakfast is buffet style. The number of items is also abundant. I had a great time at the inn in the mountains.
