南柏駅から早足だったら１分。雨が降ってもなんとかなる距離。アサインされた４階の部屋の窓を開けると、すぐ隣のマンションの壁という絶望的な眺望。ガラスがすりガラスだったのは、最初っから眺めを望むなというホテルからのメッセージかも。線路沿いにあるホテルなので騒音が気になるところですが、線路には面していない側の部屋だったことが幸いし、音は聞こえるけど気になりませんでした。 シングルの部屋は、一般的なビジネスホテルの1.5倍の面積（体感値）。ベッドも机も大きめ。部屋の色調が割と鮮やかで（飾ってあるポスターもコンゴウインコだったぐらい）、女性は好感をもつのかも（おじさんは特に・・・）。照明の数が多いので、すりガラスでも部屋が暗く感じることはありませんでした。 少し気になったのは、部屋とバスルームの段差。普通の階段１段分ぐらいの高さがあるので、寝ぼけてトイレに行ったときや高齢者は要注意。 サウナ付きの大浴場が１階にありますが、部屋から室内着とスリッパで大浴場まで移動する男性が多いようです。が、その室内着は短めのガウンで、自分のような縦長な体型だとひざ上の丈となってしまい、そのような恰好の男とエレベーターで同乗することをためらう人もいるでしょう。風呂やサウナは快適でしたが。 朝食はこれといった特色はないけど、和洋の一通りはそろっている感じ。連泊しても食べ飽きないのではないでしょうか。 チェックアウト時刻が10時なので、午前中ダラダラしたい人は気を付けて。
