We had a pleasant stay at the Mitsuba House for our holidays. It’s a beautiful house, and has everything we need to cook and play. The Owner kept the house so nice and clean, and most importantly, the house is warm. I had a bad experience before staying in a Japanese House and it was very cold. The Owner is super friendly, walked us through the house to make sure everything is fine and we stay comfortably at Mitsuba House.
I will definitely like to stay at Mitsuba House again when we come to the area. Highly recommended!
The staff are kind and courteous, the room is clean, the dinner and breakfast are very good, especially the tofu pot for breakfast. The outdoor hot spring is a bit small, but the heat is moderate
Get off the high speed, run the general road for a while and arrive after 8:30 at night. Parking is large and there was still vacant. Room is non-smoking twin on the 1 floor. When you open the door of the room, there is a smell of sewage and mold. But it was installed and I didn't care if I had the air cleaner operated. 2 sofas on the spread table. Big TV. The water swirl was very clean and functional. Breakfast was a buffet. I went after checking the vacancy because I can see the congestion situation on the monitor in the room. There were many types than other route inns I usually go, and there were several handmade side dishes, which was very good. Coffee was rare and regular and delicious. The price is cheap and satisfactory. I would like to use it again if I have a chance.
The exterior is old, but the inside is clean and nice. Perhaps because of the size of the inn, there were no welcome drinks or sweets, and the room guide was simple. I'm sure it depends on your preferences, but it was easy in its own way. The service was polite. The dinner venue was a large hall, but there was enough space between other guests, so it was safe even for children. The abalone dancing grill was luxurious and delicious. What was unexpectedly good at dinner was the free drinks and free soft serve ice cream 🍦 I wondered how it would taste because it was free, but it was very delicious ice cream. I had three refills. My children were also happy. It was a fun inn with sparrows everywhere.
It was a container house, but the inside was very beautiful, and there was a large refrigerator for the microwave oven and the hotel room, which was very nice! !!
There was a big basia in front of me, and I bought a lot of sake and snacks and was able to banquet in the room. It was just a double room, so it was a pity that there was only one chair because there was no service for twin rooms, tables and chairs.

Megane-bashi Bridge (Usui No. 3 Bridge)
Mmimin.wVisited around this year’s early summer and it was a surprisingly really fun experience! The walk to get to the bridge was definitely a long one, but worth every minute! The abandoned railway walk to get there from the closest operating train station of Yokokawa-eki gained lots of creative photos with family. And there’s a cafe around halfway through the walk to take a break and rest with some food and drinks. The air is refreshing throughout and the view from Megane-bashi is pretty nice–with my greatest take from that day being the journey going there. I would definitely recommend if you want to take a walk in nature and a break from the city!
Kumanokotai Shrine
旅旅遊新手After wandering through the old Karuizawa Yinjing, I saw the sign that said Kumano Emperor Shrine. I went all the way with curiosity. I didn’t expect to go through the ice and the trail for about 3 kilometers. Fortunately, the sky was clear. Although the scenery along the way was not as magnificent as the red leaves season, it was still quite pleasing to the eye. After about 50 minutes of walking, I finally arrived at the Kumano Daishin Shrine and asked for the two signatures of Yoshihiko and Yoshihiko.
Usui Pass
CChenhutamuVery beautiful peaks, you can see it from Karuizawa Station. The south exit is particularly beautiful on the outlets, especially when it is sunny. In winter, you can ski here, which is very suitable for vacation.
