This hotel is a converted refuge at the top of the Passo Gardena so at 2,200m in a breathtaking location looking down on the amazing Dolomite mountains. The decor is lovely, with plenty of space in the communal areas. Rooms are essential with a modern decor, comfortable and a sufficient size. Everywhere is scrupulously clean. Food is in general good and the breakfast offers a large choice, including several homemade cakes or tarts. However it gets better - the staff is fantastic. They are genuinely interested in making sure you have a great stay and are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment is always organized (clearly you can drive down to the nearest town down the hairpin bends...). And of course there is Christian who runs the whole show - always ready to help and who takes people every week day on ski tours. All in all a winning combination. Considering it all, the price/ quality is excellent. No wellness centre but then here the focus is relaxing in a sociable context (all staff are multi-lingual), skiing or walking(summer) and enjoying the glorious views. Really enjoyed our stay - we felt like family.

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute. Hotel modern and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and spacious. We had a Mountain View which was a bonus although road noise initially at night was noticeable but soon became quieter as the night progressed. The village of Sëlva is lovely and supermarket is great! Pool and spa facilities top notch in the hotel and food great . Special thanks to Sam for looking after us so well. We’d love to come back and do yet more hikes!

Das Continental liegt direkt neben der Piste, sodass man fast ein „Ski-in“ hat. Zur Gondel sind es auch nur ein paar Schritte. In das kleine Zentrum von Wolkenstein mit Bars, Restaurants und Supermärkten sind es zehn Minuten zu Fuß (Rückweg etwas länger, da bergauf). Wir hatten eine „alte“ Juniorsuite, die sehr gemütlich und großzügig war. Nur das etwas altmodische Bad und der braune Teppichboden waren nicht so schön. Und anstelle der lachsfarbenen Satinbettwäsche gäbe es sicher auch etwas zeitgemäßeres… Die gesamte Einrichtung war sehr gepflegt und einwandfrei. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren freundlich. Ganz besonders toll waren Elli und Lara im Restaurant. Sie hatten immer rin Lächeln auf den Lippen und taten alles, damit man sich als Gast wohl fühlt. Ein sehr herzlicher und professioneller Service, mit dem jeder Tag gut begonnen und geendet hat. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön nochmal dafür!!! Das Restaurant war recht gemütlich, wenngleich es ein wenig zusammengewürfelt wirkte. Einrichtung, Deko, Sitzbezüge und Tischwäsche passten teilweise nicht wirklich zusammen. Hier könnte man mit ein bisschen mehr Abstimmung noch einiges rausholen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Da haben wir bei ähnlichen Skihotels in der Preislage deutlich bessere Auswahl. Alles Wichtige wie Brot, Aufschnitt, Joghurt, Obst und Müsli waren vorhanden. Bestellen konnte man diverse Eierspeisen und Pfannkuchen (inclusive). Es gab aber leider nur wenig Variation und auch nichts Besonderes. Das Abendessen war immer gut und es war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Es gibt zwei Wellness Bereiche. Den bisherigen im Untergeschoss und den neuen im Dachgeschoss. Wir waren nur in dem Neuen, der sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich gestaltet war. Es gab eine Textilsauna, zehn Ruheliegen, drei Sitzbereiche und einen kleinen Aussenpool. Auch wenn der Bereich recht klein war, haben wir immer zwei Liegen bekommen und konnten dort gut entspannen.

What an amazing experience, from the location, balcony views, breakfast, hosts, amenities, etc! This hotel has everything you need for a perfect, serene, and exciting Dolomite adventure! Werner was so nice, and the rest of the staff were so helpful and hospitable, can’t compliment them enough. We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family, and definitely will be returning for our next stay in Selva. The room was a nice size, with complimentary water bottles restocked throughout the duration of our stay, beds very comfortable, rooms were cleaned with extreme detail daily! The balcony was jaw dropping beautiful, so nice to enjoy a drink on or just witness the beauty of the Dolomites. The only adjustment I would’ve made was make the shower larger. We made it work with the removable shower head, but it was really tight. But the other positives of the stay far made up for the smaller shower. The spa alone has a huge shower, two saunas, lounge chairs, a fire place, and infrared chairs. So nice after a long day of hiking or mountain biking, to come back to a relaxing spa, and recover for the next day of adventures. They provide a Gardena bus pass that allows unlimited bus rides around Val Gardena, and easy access to Bolzano for catching the train. The breakfast spread was incredible, so many options, coffee, all delicious and fresh, the perfect way to start the day of adventures in the Dolomites. The lifts are a short walk away, and bring you right front and center some of the most beautiful mountains in the world! Highly recommend purchasing the Gardena Card from the lift ticket office, and go up all of them! Can’t recommend this hotel, or area enough! Grazie mille Hotel Acadia!
