We spent a fantastic week ( 26 Dec. /1st Jan 2022 ) with our twins 14 YO. ( and relatives ) on Half board/ evening. Huge parking protected area underneath the hotel, connected by elevators to the rooms. All the staff, is kind and ready to help in any situation, starting from Roberto, the Director. The ski slopes are served by the hotel free shuttle in 5 minutes on call.( Grazie Pasquale per la tua disponibilità) Food was excellent and varied every evening, NO RECYCLED DISHES FROM THE PREVIOUS DAY!!!!( word of catering professional) breakfast full of different cakes and croissants.... every day, bacon & eggs, ham and chees freshly cut every morning !!! The ground floor bar allows you to taste all kind of drinks and some snacks at any time, the ever smiling Anna was always welcoming us at night, after dinner for a last drink. The suite was big clean with good bedding and we could see the mountains trough the wide bay windows and balcony of the 2 rooms. You can leave your ski equipment in locked cabinets donwstairs and accessible from the lobby and it can be rented on site, just 3 meters outside the Hotel ( they picked them up at night themselves from the cabinet at the end of our stay....just perfect 5 stars' service....what else? We came from Paris and met our LECCE's family in Madesimo, and all of us ( 12 people ) were really impressed by our choice, as we it was our first time here...but will probably come back whenever we can. I know this hotel from 2016... New structure, comfortable and large rooms, with home, wifi, fridge and safe. The very friendly and helpful reception Lord and the bar/restaurant boys are exceptional, very courtesy. The pity is varied, quality, and wine, beer, alcohols never disappoint. In the immediate vicinity there is a gym, a pharmacy, a jet washing machine. Large parking is not reserved. I'm always happy to go and I'll continue to go!

An excellent place to rest and relax. Wonderful views of Lake Como, pleasant, compact rooms that have everything you need, a very friendly and helpful staff, and tasty breakfast buffet what more could you want? In case you do want more, there is a lovely garden area, lovely pool, wonderful beach area as well as a fitness room, all available to guests, with plenty of comfortable chairs. The beach area is rocky so take your water shoes. You can walk along the lake to Domosa, for a good selection of restaurants or walk to Gravedona, for more restaurants. You can catch a boat for a cruise on lake Como at either Gravedona or Domosa. Not much nightlife but plenty of peace and quiet! The hotel restaurant was lovely too!

PLEASE NOTE….. this is not a 4 star hotel. I really don’t know how this has been classed as 4 star. We stayed a week and what a poor show it was. You can see from my photos how bad it was. We stayed on a half board basis with a wine tasting experience. Certainly was an experience 😂. Basically you were given three glasses of cheap wine. A white, red and rose, all at once. It was poured like water from a bucket. No explanation of what wine or where from. Breakfast was awful. The most depressing breakfast room and all the food that should have been hot was cold as no terrines to keep it warm, only a measly lamp that was hardly warm. Croissants were dry, as was the bread and some of the cakes. No fruit apart from the palest water melon I’ve ever seen. There was coffee in the hot water container and water in the milk container. Some of the tables weren’t laid and if they were, ours on most mornings only had a knife, a cake fork and a teaspoon 😂. Chairs were all over the place and it was far from organised. The two guys in the dining room at dinner had no customer service skills or hospitality skills. I think they were just “winging” it. The food was very poor….apart from the pizza which was ok. There is no bar in the lounge area, which is actually in the breakfast dining room. Consists of only four easy chairs! On the second floor landing area an empty wine bottle stood on the floor most of the week…not taken away. Our shower had mould. We have travelled the world and stayed in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels and this one was the worst. The only thing good about this hotel is the location, but do your research, as I’m sure there are more places to stay in the same area.
