Hotel Ponti is a lovely boutique hotel in Angera, just across the street from the southern shores of Lago Maggiore. Four of us visited on a business trip to our local facility in nearby Taino. The hotel appears to have been put together from several adjacent buildings, leading to some interesting elevation changes and a combination of inside and outside entrances, but all within the protection of the hotel. It is nicely appointed in the rooms and public spaces in a contemporary style. The 3rd floor breakfast room (10 Euro if not included in your rate) was well stocked, and had a nice view of the lake and the park area across the street. Its floor to ceiling sliding glass opened to an outdoor dining deck, although it was a little chilly while we were there in November. There was also a rooftop deck accessed from the second floor on another section of the property that provided a panoramic view of the adjacent village area and of the castle perched on the limestone cliff just above. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the associated restaurant was also excellent. Recommended!

I didn’t stay here but sought the assistance of the front desk the other night when caught out by a storm. The receptionist was kind in getting a taxi sorted for us and providing a great welcome. Well done Atlantic.

The hotel is located in a strategic location for those who want to explore the Lake Maggiore area, the neighbourhood of the lake's edges and the easy access to tourist destinations such as Stresa, the Borromee Islands and the National Park of Val Grande. The Luna Hotel Motel Lago Maggiore rooms are modern and well-equipped, designed to offer a comfortable stay with all the main services, such as free Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning, minibar and, in some rooms, water-massing bathrooms. The structure also distinguishes for its discretion and the possibility of access to the rooms independently, typical features of a motel, but with the attention and the typical quality of the top-class hotels. The staff is very friendly, friendly and available, especially the gentleman at the reception.

location meravigliosa affacciata sul lago maggiore, ampi spazi immersi nella natura, interni curati nei minimi dettagli con pezzi d'arte molto originali. ho passato un weekend da sogno con molti amici che mi hanno raggiunto da più parti del mondo. Bruno grande padrone di casa molto ospitale, il suo staff molto gentile e disponibile. un'esperienza fantastica. grazie davvero!!

Excellent welcome and large, clean room, nothing was missing. Entry only for the ”living” part without perhaps disturbing those in other parts of the house. Good breakfast with lots of variety, nothing homemade but good quality.
