GGuest UserI wish I could just move in to this apartment! It’s beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable and totally worth what you pay for it. I loved every minute of my stay here and wished I could have been here longer. Hveragerði is an amazing place, with steam billowing out of the surrounding hillsides and along the river bank. There are stunning walks within easy reach of the apartment and they provide a handy map that’s all you need to find your way around.

This was a lovely hotel which was very easy to find - around a 50 minute drive from the airport. The location is perfect if you are planning a trip around the Golden Circle. There is ample free parking outside. The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. The heating was really good and the hot tub outside is a lovely addition. Bed was comfortable, we slept amazingly both nights! Breakfast was good, plenty on offer. We did not eat dinner in the hotel, instead we visited the local restaurants in Hveragerdi and Selfoss which are both a very short drive away. The only complaint I would have is that the shower was quite bad - very low pressure, hard to get the right temperature and quite strong smelling. That being said, it did not spoil our visit in the slightest.

CcharlotteThe hotel room was clean and comfortable. It was a good experience after staying for one night. If you are going to visit the town of Vic, this is a good resting spot. The hotel is also equipped with an outdoor swimming pool with a constant temperature of 30 degrees. There are supermarkets and gas stations nearby.

GGuest UserThe room was super warm, and the waiter sister also specially selected a river view room closest to the hot spring for us. It’s great to listen to the sound of running water and soak in the hot spring! It was snowing on the day of check-in, and the hot spring in the snow was really fun. The town is not far from Reykjavik. It is also a big town in Iceland. The transportation is convenient. Although there are not many people, there are still several restaurants. If you are tired of the traditional package of the hotel, you can drive or walk to the restaurant in the town. The next morning, I saw tourists riding horses on the opposite mountain to explore the volcanic spring!

GGuest UserGreat value, close to Reykjavik located in a small town. Geothermal park is located walking distance from this motel Price very reaonable compared to Reykjavik prices. Small motel type guesthouse located away from highway near centre of town in quiet area. Rooms have private bathrooms despite being listed as a guesthouse. Kettle and coffee/tea provided in room. Fridge also in room. Microwave in lobby. Bonus (the grocery store with the pig logo) is about 8 blocks away. Enjoyed stay so much we extended from one to three days.
