We stayed at the palace for a night during our recent family trip to Hampi. The palace is situated around a 75mins. drive from Hampi (towards Bangalore on a scenic detour) in a valley surrounded by hills and a striking red soil from the mining activity in the vicinity. Right from the entry gate, as one drives to the palace foyer passing the magnificent gardens, one is set for a royal treat. The architecture of the building, decorated with numerous artifacts of the royal family (including vintage cars, royal throne, weaponry etc.) was worth the tour. Our large rooms on the ground floor were very comfortable. Special thanks to the property manager, Sameer who ensured a smooth booking (and attractive tarriff) and fabulous hosting during our stay. Special mention for the memorable meals we were served! Overall, if you prefer to add a touch of old-world luxury to your Hampi trip, I recommend staying at Shivavilas Palace, Sandur on any side of your drive from/to Bangalore.

Hyatt Place Hampi has the perfect location amidst Vidyanagar Township, a place so beautifully maintained, serene, and lush green. Surrounded by so many beautiful architectural marvels it is of utmost importance that you must keep 1 day separate for exploring the township itself. The location was superb, with a beautiful surrounding atmosphere and an exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist and the team made a wonderful first impression with welcome drink. The hotel was clean, stylish, spacious, and offered excellent service at Breakfast and dinner, where the food was delicious and great value for money, with attentive and efficient service. The room was well-equipped and comfortable. I was very satisfied with my stay and look forward to returning for a longer visit in the future. Special thanks to Devesh, Chef Sameer, Garv, Sweta, Prantik Sir and other staff to make this stay memorable.

Great Stay,Hotel is Old,but well maintained, Very hard work For HK Dept where we understand opp is jsw plant and lot of dust polution . Great job HK Dept for Keeping Rooms Clean. So with Family came to See Hampi and Every Glimpse of Ruins Hampi,So When we returned back to hotel, Exellent Hospitality Services From Alfiya, Arvind Receptionist who helped us for Wi-Fi & Every needs. Entire Reception Staff Looks Well Trained. Apart from them Alfiya & Arvind Should be Well Appreciated for there Behavior & Giving Good Services to the Guest.
