Friendly hotel for tourist attractions in Tawangmangu, close to Grojogan Sewu, lots of cafes, located on the main road Tawangmangu-Solo.
Only because the air is cool around 28 degrees C, the room facilities are not equipped with air conditioning. Luckily there is a hot tub in the deluxe room so it can replace the excitement of staying here.
Clean towels, complete amenitis, clean bath water. Ok for those who want to stay while refreshing at the foot of Mount Lawu.

If you are looking for size, this hotel is perfect. Very spacious, with balcony overlooking mountain. However if you are looking for a modern kind of accommodation, you need to look elsewhere.
Important: Overhead shower in the bathtub, no shower curtain, nor safety handheld bar. not suitable for elderly parents.
Room amenities and faciilties: tired. Need major upgrade.

i've stayed here at mid August 2020, with my family. Facade is a new hotel, clean enough. And the location is strategic, in the middle of Tawangmangu, beside the Balekambang Park and Bangun Trisno Resto. So nothing to worry if we need some food in the night. Parking area is small, so if we come late, need to park the car in front of the hotel, near Balekambang Park. The room is clean, even not spacious. Only i don't know why the hot water is just slightly warm. I also checked at the other room is the same. I think maybe the boiler for the water heater not enough. This is opportunity to improve for the hotel. The breakfast are simple, not so much variations of the menu. Maybe this is also need to improve. But overall, this hotel is nice, clean, and the location is strategic.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Spectacular view when you wake up in the morning. Breakfast spread was great for both days. There is a small playground beside their cafe that my kids could play as well. Service was awesome. Will come again if I visit Solo again.

At the back of the hotel is a swimming pool. For some unknown reason, we were advised against eating in the hotel’s restaurant, but the next morning we were surprised by the quality of the continental and local breakfast. Delicious coffee! In September 2023, our room named bungalow number 3 was not really a bungalow, but a small bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom. A small window kept us from suffocating. The room temperature needed air-conditioning. The fan kept us alive. The room has good Wi-Fi reception, television and hot shower. One bed was not clean, the other had worn bedding. Beside the poor cleaning, there is no hotel maintenance. If you cannot find another hotel, this one is a level above sleeping in your car. Not recommended.

5503RyoA hotel with minimalist and unique architecture, only consisting of 3 floors, the 1st & 2nd floors are for hotel rooms with a rather narrow hallway between rooms, the 3rd floor is for a cafe, so it's not surprising that this hotel doesn't use an elevator.
The swimming pool is not large, so it is intended more for a children's pool. What's interesting is the breakfast area on the 3rd floor cafe, the view is calming and the food is quite varied.
The hotel crew from waiters, receptionists to security are friendly and responsive. Nice resort to stay.
