GGuest UserThe check-in lobby is on the top floor while the lower lobby is only for drop-offs. Didn't expect anything because I ordered the lowest room, apparently at check-in I was told that my room was double-upgraded from superior (44 m2) to executive (81 m2). If the superior type is just an ordinary room without a pantry, the executive type has a complete kitchen and equipment. The room is very spacious consisting of 4 rooms, consist of the bedroom, bathroom, living and dining room, and kitchen. The rooms smells good and there is no damp smell at all. All equipment works fine For the living room there is a dining table equipped with 3 chairs, a long sofa and a small sofa with a large TV. The kitchen has a washing machine, oven, zinc, refrigerator, electric stove, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, rice cooker. Very complete and still looks all shiny. Tableware includes spoons, forks, chopsticks, knives, ladle, scissors, corkscrews, bowls, teapots, cething, plates, various glasses and mugs, pans. For bottled mineral water, 2 bottles of 600 ml are provided, coffee uses excelso coffee capsules, tea uses the Dilmah brand. Kitchen amenities are also very complete, namely sunlight and sponges, plus liquid soap is also provided for washing. So oakwood is perfect for those who long-stay or gather in parties with friends The bedroom is also quite spacious, equipped with a cupboard, desk, work desk and chair. Adequate sized TV with digital viewing and wifi also runs smoothly. There are also many room sockets so you don't get confused if you bring lots of electronic equipment. The soft mattress is great for sleeping with 4 regular pillows and 2 decorative pillows. For the anniversary set, they are given a large slice of cake with an art towel. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, shower and rain shower, closet and sink. Towels are provided 2 bath towels and hand towels. Complete amenities for Budi Jaya production. The bathtub has clear water and fills up quickly, anti-drama. Swimming pool, fitness and spa facilities are available on the F floor. The swimming pool is indoor and a bit dark, forget whether there is a children's pool or not. Complete fitness equipment, the brand is life fitness, each treadmill is also provided with its own TV. Breakfast at Oakwood starts at 06.00-10.00. The taste is quite suitable on my tongue and the variant are considered complete. Breakfast conditions are also crowded 1. Waffles and Pancakes 2. Indonesian Corner (Yellow rice, beans, noodles, fried chicken, Rawon) 3. Madura porridge (pearls, marrow, grendul, pandan, green beans) 4. Beverage (Coffee and tea, herbal medicine, infused water, juice (orange and guava)) 5. Indomie Corner 6. Traditional snacks, pudding, rounds 7. Bakery Pastry (Croissant, Danish, bread, muffin, Sandwich) 8. Salad and fruit, Bircher muesli, yoghurt 9. Fried rice, fried noodles, vegetables, curry chicken, fish 10. GGuest UserStayed here for 1 night only. I got a superior room. It is very compact, although the amenities were all good, although it is standard amenities. The air conditioner is not cold, anyway it is good for me because i didn't like too cold either. I didn't try the breakfast, the committee which booked ny room made a mistake and order the room without breakfast. Although they correct their mistake later, I already ate my breakfast outside. This is a good hotel, however I cant believe that Mercure will provide such a budget style hotel. I thought that mercure will provide a decent full service hotel. Anyway. It is ok if only for an overnight stay like me

GGuest UserStayed there for a couple of days with other relatives for a small family reunion. Hotel was nice, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Some little things that could have been improved is parking. Would be nice if staff informed incoming guests about the valet parking ahead of time, so we didn’t have to look for parking spot upon arrival. It’s time for your carpets to be steam-cleaned. Breakfast had many choices, coffee was very decent I had to get my second cup. Best part of the stay - friendly and accommodating staff, kudos to you all!!!

YYustinusAMy First Impression(24 Jan 2020 - 27 Jan 2020) Check-In Experiences, + Rule Apply and dicipline + Standby 24 hour + Nice to Guest and Fast checkin + welcome drink standard - Card Key for room only 1 and if you need 1 more you need to put 100KIDR deposit Building Area & Design Interior, + Modern and Urban style + Good ambience and lighting + Clean Feel + Nice Sofa in the lobby + Huge Parking Car - Looks like Flower Decoration in here is fake especially in 2th floor on the tables Room Hotel, + Clean, structure and everything looks perfect + Ambience lighting is good not too bright not too dark with easy switch setting + Got 2 free botol and other standard free items in the hotel(soap, coffee, tea, sandals) - No sign of privacy or clean status, every room is different. - Alwys call if you want to clean the rooms - No laundry list, every room different Breakfast Experiences & Foods, + All the foods in here is delicious + Foods Variations is good + Free breakfast for 2 person/room(depending on your booking) - Clean table is slow - Replineshment Foods is slow - Need to check related pets control in Bar.. Somehow i have a chance to see Rat running away inside the Bar. Conclusion, I'm really enjoy stay in this hotel eventhough there is some area that need to be improve like the standardisation related the facility each room(laundry list, sign privacy, and so on), also in the restaurant must showing the improvements especially pets control and make sure all the door must be close everytime to avoid the rat come to the Bar side(1st floor) . Overall i recommended this hotel, the price also reasonable and i believe this hotel already have procedure to do. Please keep the good work and always improve to make customer happy with the right quality.

EeverydaytravelThis is the best hotel i could find when i go travelling in Surabaya. I like how the towel is wrapped by plastic showing that its new and not used by other. The facility also is good, theres a refridgerator that you can use to cool foods and drinks. The wifi is also good and fast. The one thing that i dont like is maybe they cant refresh your card right away if youre extending your stay, but its good that the steward is willingly to help you to open your door until 2 pm.
