Im happy and feeling cozy during stay at fave hotel madiun, actualy I wanna stay at Aston but fully book, when I'm coming the staff welcoming with friendly, we got welcoming drink and so fresh for us. The located strategis and value for money. Keep going better for all service and facilities

Good location. Not good views. Although the food is reasonably good the service is incredibly slow and quite poor. First of all, rather than seating us the waitress recommended we go to another restaurant outside the hotel rather than eat at the hotel restaurant. We then waited almost 1.5 hours for our dinner, which was difficult with hungry children. Dishes then came out one by one with 10 minute+ intervals in-between. One dish was brought out with chillies all over the top of it even though we requested it not spicy at all. We then waited an additional 45 minutes for the replacement dish. After 45 minutes we asked the waitress where it was and she said she had “forgotten” about it and it had been sitting on the pass. She seemed to be annoyed that we had asked for a replacement, rather than actually forgetting that it was ready. Drinks came out 30 mins after the first lot of food. Like the food, they also came out one at a time with very long intervals in-between. The restaurant called our room a lot for silly things - 30 mins after we had paid and left the restaurant they called our room to ask if we had finished eating or if we were coming back, and if they could clear our table. They forgot to get a signature for something and called repeatedly 3 times in a row just to tell us they had forgotten to get a signature but that we didn’t need to do anything about it. They also knocked on the door quite late at night wanting a signature to authorise that the bill for room service for one of our rooms be joined with another of our rooms, even though all rooms were booked under the same name on the same credit card and we had had our room service almost an hour before that. Breakfast buffet has a good selection. Rooms are quite spacious. Decor could be better - its a bit barren. A fair choice for a quick stopover on your way to somewhere else

Relatively quiet location 10 minutes from the train station. Only the mosque is waking one around half five but it is hardly evitable throughout the country. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely furnished with old furniture. We got one of the rooms on the third floor with a terrace and view of the city. The bathroom was dirty but without fungi. There is no washing basin and you have to use the shower. There are a few meals and cakes running through the room, but also country-type at the room price. The staff was nice. The check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was super. Classic Indonesian. The city deserves a stay. It is the only one so far with beautiful, cared and large walks. Great to jog and walk. All very clean and cared. The dinner was fantastic.

My big family and I stayed here for 1 and booked 35 rooms. Due to different arrival times, my brother gave me a list of names and room slot that was previously coordinated to the reception.. Unfortunately on the H day, there was a fuss made by the receptionist (the receptionist whose body is not covered). From the start of the changing room number, to the number of key rooms that are not consistent with the booking, which when confirmed, still pretend not to understand the explanation. It took about 1 hour more to solve this case.. Fortunately, when checking out, helped with different receptionists and more helpful than the first receptionist helping when checking in. Facilityly yes, so so.. Some of the facilities are necessary to be replaced, like the baker that needs to be replaced, but it must be recognized, locationally, this hotel is once strategic. It seems that hotel management should pay attention to booking things like this, especially for group bookings.

Tempatnya strategis

The room is nice (big room/spacious, big bed, nice interior, clean bed, clean room). Location is near to railway station (5-10 minutes walk). Breakfast is good (I like ”pecel” so much) with a cup of coffee. GOOD :)

We stop by to have a good rest during our travel from Bali to Jakarta. Found a good deal in traveloka and decided to choose this hotel over Aston chain where we usually stay. The location in city center only 10 minutes from toll exit, surrounded by many restaurants and top rated food seller, very convenient to buy meals or oleh-oleh. Check in is efficient and health protocol is superb. They put scan of peduli lindungi in the entrance, sealed towel, disposable paper glass and sealed sandals. Double bed is king size so three of us (two adults and one 8 y.o) can sleep comfortably. The room is super clean with complete toiletries, hot and cold shower, complimentary water bottles, aircon, cable TV and breakfast. We ask the staffs to pack our breakfast in the morning and they come (very fast) with decent quantity and tasty packs. We got nasi, kwetiaw, two pcs of chicken, omelette, veggies and additional two water bottles. Usually we only received nasi, one piece of chicken or egg and sides (tempe/tahu) in the same level of hotel. Another thing caught our heart is the service and hospitality from staffs. When we arrived, the security immediately came and help to park the car and bring our luggage. The receptionist and other staffs we met in the corridor and throughout the facility, all with smiles and greetings. I would say this level of service and hospitality are on the top notched and never I expect from the 2 stars hotel. This one night stay is very memorable and impressed, BIG thanks!!!

The service is good. Please up the food choices for breakfast and the cleanliness of the bathroom. However, as a budget hotel, Votel Kartika Abadi Hotel is one of the best choices when you want to stay in Madiun. Thank you.
