One hour and a half taking a train from Jogja to solo seeing my partner after a few months in a distance because of the pandemic situation. The air was so hot, but we suddenly arrive at this hotel with all of the safe introduction of hand sanitizer, distance, life touch, and the other stuff for this new normal. all of the staff there were so kind that makes us feel comfortable enough. That vibes in the room make me have a good conversation after a long time distance. The pillow and bed were so soft, kindly make a coffee and tea for our day easily in here, and also absolutely the bathroom and all of the stUff that smells so good. You know what the best part here? Right. Seeing a view of Surakarta from their window.

Hotel ok. all hot water functions etc ok, clean staff less ok. At 9:30 am has already caused a noise in front of the room. Maybe wake up the guest, his intention is asking to check out when we have woken up from morning. wifi doesn't work. already to the front desk but still doesn't work The wifi (maybe the quota ran out of her). There's a splash of water on the floor.

Just recently stayed for four nights at Solo Paragon Hotel for business trip and enjoyed my stay overall. To be very honest, Solo Paragon was not my first hotel choice when I looked at accommodations in Solo for this business trip. However, there was no other options left when I wanted to reserve as Solo had multiple international events during my time there. Pre-arrival impression was unpleasant as when I texted them requesting for airport pick-up arrangement, they turned down my request immediately stating that they were busy with the international event. Moreover, I requested assistance to send some packages from the hotel but again they turned down my request stating they did not provide that service. I have been working in the hotel industry for a while and fully understand that these two were supposedly the basic service offered to guests, let alone by a property at Solo Paragon Hotel level. At this stage, even before arriving to the hotel itself, I was devastated and had actually looked at other accommodation option. However, as everything was on prepaid basis I decided to just go with it. The tide started to turn when I decided to give the hotel a call one day prior to arriving, as I wanted to understand more about the city (this is my very first visit to Solo). Patty - the lady who picked up the phone, was super helpful answering my questions and really getting me prepped up for my trip. Throughout my stay also, I coincidentally met her almost every day of my stay (usually in the afternoon). She was always being nice, helpful, and friendly. She even assisted me to plan a short tour around the destinations in Solo. Her presence at the Front Desk really brought positive ambience there, in addition to of course all her colleagues in the Front Desk and Lobby area - including the Security team. Solo Paragon Hotel is also located in the heart of Solo, make it super easy to go everywhere. There are Solo Paragon Shopping Mall just downstairs - shops, coffee shops, night markets, and restaurants in walking distance - and also going around by car feels close to everywhere. Definitely recommended for travelers seeking for easy access to various places in Solo. At this stage, the great staff and strategic location really made my business trip convenient and at this point I had forgotten my unpleasant pre-arrival experience. However, still there are some points that requires upgrade for Slo Paragon Hotel to get their perfect 10/10 experience. First, I felt that there were no standards in the Housekeeping service; sometimes they left the bathroom door open somethings they did not, sometimes they folded the bath mat above the toilet sometimes on the floor, sometimes they brought spare laundry bag and form when I requested for laundry service and sometimes they did not. the location of the hotel in the city center although it is a bit into the alley,but the alley is big.the hotel became one with the cafe in the front area.the parking lot is quite large and is distinct between hotel guests and cafe guests.the alley exit is a little bit of food vendors. For the staff very very friendly and informative. There is a deposit that I forgot the amount (it seems 100k). Eco hotel concept without elevator. Each floor is provided with a water dispenser. for the room i booked it was a bit narrow and it was stuck between the tray and the table,so it had to be a bit jumping.but overall it was very comfortable,the mattress was soft,the tv signal was ok,the ac was quick to cool down,the water heater was ok,and the room was clean
