It was a good hotel not far from Marioboro Street, the most downtown area in Yogyakarta, facing the main street. Hotel staff 々 was very kind to everyone. The equipment was a bit old, but there was no problem. But there was no refrigerator in the room. And the WI-Fi wasn't in good condition. The meal was not able to be enjoyed due to the time of stay, but the restaurant area felt good. Next to the hotel, the driver of the Becha (Miwa taxi) was waiting and I thought it was convenient to go out.

We booked superior double. The check in was smooth even if it was late night. Receptions are friendly. The hotel has wheel chair access on the lobby, when u enter the lobby you will find the restaurant and small shop selling souvenirs. Our room has a double bed. The layout of superior room are guest friendly, enough electrical socket. The pillow is comfort enough for me, some are soft although small in size then there are 2 larger pillows. The room has safety box and coffee and tea amenities. The bathroom amenities are basic yet adequate for short trip. They also have hair dryer on request. All in all, it was good but they need to pay attention more to the sheet. Mine still have spots on it. Special thanks to Pak Zaki engineering for check my electric panel when it was off and Ibu Diah or Dian from HK, her response is fast in delivering guest request.

For a short staycation my wife and I decided to stay at Melia. We arrived by train early afternoon and took a cab to the hotel. Since it was a public holiday it took us some time to reach the hotel. From the hotel to the station without traffic jam, took less than 10 minutes. Upon check-in our room was not yet ready. So a good moment for us to have something to eat close by. We didn’t came back until the evening, and we were pleasantly surprised we got upgraded to a room on the Level floor. Our room had a street view which was nice overlooking the city from the 6th floor. However at night we could hear the outside traffic. But nothing that can be fixed by wearing some earplugs. The room itself was spacious, clean and all necessary amenities were provided. For breakfast you can expect quite some option to choose from. I usually stick to the fried rice and some bread. The breakfast was good. We went once for dinner at El Patio. You can choose for a la cart or the buffet. My wife took the buffet and I went for a la cart. I absolutely loved the traditional nasi goreng, for me it was perfect. Besides this we didn’t use any other services like the pool or spa. We spend most of our time outside the property, since malioboro street was a few hundred meters away from us. Maybe next time we try the spa and pool.

I booked 3 rooms, with 2 people in each room. One of the rooms had a non-functioning air conditioner, which remained unfixed despite repairs. The bed linens seemed old, and we experienced some itchiness, possibly due to dust mites. I suggest maintaining the air conditioners and updating the linens for better guest comfort. Thank you.

This hotel is suitable for me as a solo traveler, although the rooms are small but I like it for transit because my train at the midnight, close to Lempuyangan Station about 5 minutes by car, but not so close to Malioboro if you walk. The private bedroom with ensuite bathroom (has amenity too), a Smart TV (this is very important) and comfy bed is very good and comfortable to me compared to ”real cabin/capsul hotel”, the minus is it doesn't have a window (to outside). The price is reasonable and better if you go show to the hotel than OTA. Thank you Mr. Dedi to your hospitality !

During our short trip to Jogja, we decided to stay at hotel Ceria. First step entering the doorway, the ambience brought back our good memories in the past. It felt like we've stepped into our grandma's house. The hotel staffs showed warm hospitality, and really helpful. The room is clean and neat. The art deco style furniture was easily spotted everywhere in the hotel. Having a perfect Tuna sandwich for breakfast, we decided to have a morning riding around the hotel, on a bike that was provided by the hotel for free. Then a sip of capuccino in the evening really doubled the joy. We had a great time staying here, and definitely will be back, soon. ❤️
