The breakfast is monotonous and the same every day. It is the standard breakfast content of most hotels in the UK. Good location, located in the center of the town, easy to travel, parking is very difficult, and getting on and off luggage quickly. Good service attitude, actively solve problems and help
We stayed for a Thursday and Friday night. The rooms are quaint it being a 15th century hotel. Room 1 is quite small with a tiny shower and toilet. Room 2 is much better and even has an air conditioning unit. The main issues with rooms 1 ,2 &3 is they are at the front of the hotel on a very busy road which goes uphill and thus generates even more traffic noise. The windows in the rooms are very old and do not shut properly and the secondary glass is ineffective. It means we were continuously woken up in the night due to the traffic noise. We were moved to room 2 after 1st night which was much nicer but still suffered from the noise problem. Unfortunately there were no interior rooms available. Our sons stayed in room 16 on the floor above which suffered similar noise problems, we were disappointed to have been placed in the two worse rooms in the hotel even though be booked 6 months earlier. On the positive side the breakfast was very good with tasty ingredients for the full English. There were also another 5 or 6 hot options. There are no pastries available which appears to have been discontinued so should be removed from the breakfast menu. The real positive not is that the hotel provide the wedding dinner reception for my nieces wedding for 50 people which was organised very well with very good food. So if you are booking check they are not allocating you a room overlooking the road in particular do not stay in rooms 1,2,3 & 16

We have just come back from a 2 night stay. We chose this hotel as its a 30 minute drive from Wembley and wasn't expensive like the other hotels. We arrived 2 hours early for check in however the gentleman at reception checked us in no problem and gave us access to our room. Our room was a good size with a double bed and additional pull out sofa bed. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay such as an iron, kettle, hairdryer and towels. There was even a little sign in the bathroom letting us know if we had forgotten anything just let them know. Breakfast both days was lovely with plenty of choice. It did get busy towards the end but we were advised of this on check in. We didn't get back from Wembley till 3am this morning but after a quick email to reception at half 7, they sorted out late check out so we could have a bit more sleep before our 4.5 hour journey home. The staff here work so hard and it seemed to be the same 2 faces our entire 3 day stay. I honestly don't know how they do it and keep smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely return.
Excellent breakfast but I was charged for 2 @ £18.95 each (as I had a single room) so very expensive. On querying this I was told it was standard practice
Large room although was surprised to have a disabled room when I hadn't requested one - meant that sink was low and shower was in the bath
Room was cold. I was told the air conditioning had been put on for the summer and the room temperature couldn't be adjusted. Temperature control in room didn't work apart from blowing more cold air through the vents. Bathroom radiator didn't heat when turned on. Shower was lukewarm.
Volume on TV control didn't work so sound very low
Green light on ceiling for smoke detector kept me awake.

Sat 2 - Sun 3 Aug 24 Went with a coach trip for Blechley Park Was not looking forward to our stay, however, previous reviews we read were proved to be BS in most cases Room was clean and bright with a decent size TV. Bit of a treck from reception but it is a big place. Comfortable beds with spare quilts and blankets if you're cold. Bathroom a little small but with a large shower. Best quality bronco (toilet) paper ever experienced in a hotel. Bit of a stain on the carpet but you can't put new carpet down every time something is spilt on it and you only walk on it anyway. Buffet breakfast was OK, decent bacon but don't go for fried eggs. Good continental and fresh fruit too. Buffet style dinner was good, three dinner choices with choice of starter and dessert. Bar looked OK but we didn't use it. Bar meals are available. Pleasant grounds for an after dinner stroll in good weather. We heard no noise in the night, it was very peaceful. In all, a pleasant stay. If we are to return to the area we will use this hotel again.
Great stay with a really comfy bed and attentive staff who helped out when we were checking in much earlier than stated due to a day festival.
Somehow these guys must have been magicians as it was located (and our window faced onto) a student accommodation area, and you wouldn't have been able to even tell there were a load of uni students on a Saturday night there they were all so quiet!
Had breakfast in the morning and all was good with that too, decent options and a nice space to have it in as well.
Excellent pub with great staff and delicious food. Along the high street but I recommend heading further down the High Street to find this little gem. It also has rooms which after looking into further detail has great feedback. My wife & I not surprised but will definitely be booking a room with you guys too! Thank you so much!

Outstanding
GGuest UserOn flying out of Luton we decided not to fight the M1 south with the Monday morning commuters and stayed here overnight, what a good decision that was. The location is lovely in a beautiful farm setting with a large courtyard servicing the rooms. We were greeted by Katie who was lovely and welcoming and shown to Stable 3 in the far corner. A lovely appointed room with a king size bed, TV, and wet room, everything very clean and tidy with a very good selection on the tea tray, plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding of a high quality. Yes there is road noise but it's more background noise and can't be avoided so you take it as one of those things. Breakfast was very good with cereal, juice, lots of fresh fruit, yogurt along with tea and fresh coffee. I opted for poached egg on toast and my wife had beans on toast with veggie sausages. We loved the room a proper farmhouse character room with fireplace and flagstone flooring in the hallway, and lovely countryside views, perfect retirement house! So for £95 it is on a par with hotels at the airport but for the homely feel and the service provided we will now always return here if we ever fly from Luton again. If you are reading this then take my advice and book here, it's also an easy 12 minute drive to Terminal 1 car park. The Fox pub is 5 mins away for your evening meal, also very good.
