I looked up York Hotel on Ctrip and accidentally stayed in this treasure hotel. From the appearance of the entire hotel, the lobby, the corridor, to the room, everything is impeccable. The breakfast is also great. You can choose from a variety of types such as full English breakfast, which is cooked to order. I really love it. I am willing to come to York again for this hotel.

Very expensive for a small room at the top of two flights of stairs. A standard double bed in a reasonable size room but the hotel is tired and in need of some real tlc.

The hotel was in a lovely location. With efficient service. The rooms may benefit from a little upgrade of carpets and the beams were dusty. The room we had used a shared bathroom which was fine to use however it was a walk down some stairs which are carpeted not most hygenic. The fire alarm went off at 6am and it did take owner 7 minutes to arrive to response and check. After this we were able to return to rooms for rest. The hotel is 35 mins walk from centre of York lovely when a nice day.

Authentic English breakfast, feel at home, the boss and the chef are very good, there is a parking lot, close to the train station, suitable for bringing children, the chef will introduce you to York's attractions.

A small villa, the room is clean and tidy, very warm and quiet, the service is very good and warm, we live on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator, the suitcase is the store to help get the room, parking is also convenient. The environment of Zhou is good, and it is convenient to travel. It takes 20 minutes to walk along the river to see the tourist attractions in the downtown area. Only breakfast is very expensive. Two nights a day is a pleasant experience.

The staff are nice and friendly. There is car park at the back of the hotel. It was a nice and convenient location. We stay on the ground floor, only a few steps up, from the reception. It was very great, we don’t need prepare the sofa bed, they had done before our arrival. Only the cleanliness is a bit not up to standard. There is nail polish left on the desk and plastic clip on the floor. It is nice to provide tooth brushes and razors. However, no slippers can be provided, which is the only thing we had forgotten. The body and hand wash are locked, it was empty in the shower, we needed to call for refill. If we can move the one from the basin, then we don’t need to bother the staff. The worst is no sound proof at all. You can hear someone outside in the corridor and even next door. We can hear next door’s conversation clearly.

Not close to the city center, but the bus stop is at the door, which is quite convenient. The boss is nice and the public area is cleaned very clean. The sanitary condition is OK, cleaner than most homestays, but there are spider webs behind the TV. The windows are not soundproof, and we sleep unaffected, but if we are afraid of noise, it is best not to face the street room. The most dissatisfied was that I found that the room was a semi-ensuite, the toilet was not in the room, and there was a shower in the room, but there was no message prompt when booking.
