1st class service, especially from Candice. Also Joel was good. Nothing was to much trouble they went out of there way to make my stay perfect. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. One note is toilet seats need tightening. Once again Candice was fantastic. Thank you.

Breakfast is OK, good, good taste. Far from the city, the front desk service is average, the hotel is very happy to help call a taxi, it is more convenient, take a taxi to the train station for about 10 pounds

This was my first time staying at this hotel, it was a convenient location as I was visiting the area nearby. The hotel is outside of the town centre but that wasn't an issue for me, there is a pub located right next door if you prefer to go out for a drink or some food. I didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but I did have breakfast which was good. The mattress was a little uncomfortable for me but I have back problems so others may not have an issue. I would be happy to stay at this hotel again when in the area.

We as a family were very happy with the Christmas day lunch that they provided, there was plenty of food on the plates and it was so nice, it was hot and promptly brought out, the staff were very professional and there was a pleasant atmosphere...we had to leave straight after pudding due to going to the hospital to visit my mum, so I didn't get to thank all the staff for there lovely service, So thank you all for a lovely lunch , i will definitely recommend The Raven . Nikki

My parents had their vow renewal ceremony and reception here, and what a day it was so so special and nothing was to much for the staff working the day and also Teighan their wedding coordinator who helped plan everything thank you to all involved in making the day so special. To also be the first to have a ceremony in the garden and it was absolutely beautiful.

Had a really nice one night stay here. A quiet spot, so no overnight noise, easy free parking and friendly staff upon check in. Near to a Miller and Carter, Starbucks and petrol station containing a Greggs and Subway. Clean, well appointed room, with Dove toiletries, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee and really good Wi-Fi. I would definitely use this hotel when travelling again in the the area.
