Best Provins Hotels

We arrive in this very well located certainly, but strongly disappointed because it is not mentioned anywhere that all the relaxed space is in renovation (pool, jacuzzi, etc.). We are therefore very disappointed because we had chosen this hotel only for the spa. I have explained it twice, to 2 people different from the reception. The hotel has a very good location and is very comfortable. Then a completely unknown gentleman, who managed to go back to our room with another magnetic card, and to finish we're going to drink a glass in the hotel's lounge bar on recommendation of the host agent. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel. A room more than average for one night at €135, fortunately there was a spacious bathroom to save a little stay.

Pros: The room was clean (apart from a small paper under the bed and stained cushions on the bed), the house is located in the medieval city and everything is done on foot, convenient. Cons: Unwelcoming staff (good humor, smile, where are they?), in a hurry to show you your room and leave. Then there was a problem with the air conditioning, a bad adjustment which caused it to not work in the other apartments of the house. A member of hotel staff came knocking on our bedroom door and locked the door before we had time to answer anything (probably in a hurry to solve the air conditioning problem but where is respect?!) Then, he gave us evasive explanations about the air conditioning (that all the air conditioning units of the different apartments had to be regulated in the same way etc.), unclear explanations. So we were cold (air conditioning set at 18°C), slept badly and had back pain the next morning (bad mattresses and bad pillows), we won't be back. I forgot, the different switches are not arranged logically, so we do not know what they correspond to at first. In short, despite the good geographical location of the Residence, I do not recommend this one, 145€ for one night, the quality/price is not there.

This really is a stunning hotel in a central location. Outside a typical upmarket French hotel very clean and smart, inside simply stunning all chrome and glass, never seen so many mirrors. The room was super smart with a huge in-room wet room, very comfortable with everything you could need. Breakfast was amazing, the best ever. and private parking just a short distance away. Provins is very pretty particularly the medieval area which is within walking distance of the hotel, also within walking distance a delicious Italian restaurant (name forgotten sorry). Highly recommended, we were only there one night en route but would have liked to stay longer, a really lovely hotel.

Excellent accueil, endroit pittoresque et aménagé avec goût, très bon petit déjeuner, vraiment parfait ! bravo…seul petit détail, je placerai peut-être une porte au lieu d’un rideau à l’entrée de la salle de bains de la chambre japonaise, ce serait plus agréable lorsque l’on utilise les toilettes
