The Golden Tulip was in a great location for our onward journey and provided a pleasant pit stop along the A26 route. The hotel seems brand new, so everything was clean and nicely finished. The check in was fast and easy, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious, quite and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good. The hotel is next to several restaurants and a boulangerie, so you dont have to venture far in the evening for food (2 min walk). A very nice stay, and we would certainly stay again.

Great 1 night stopover spent here. Basic but spotlessly clean room with comfortable beds and efficient air conditioning . Good value breakfast. Receptionist very friendly and extremely helpful, she explained how tram system worked so we were able to leave our car in hotel car park and visit Rheims city on morning of our departure. Initially we were put off by sewerage type smell on corridor to our room however the room itself smelt fine. We realised on leaving next day that muck spreading must have been going on in surrounding countryside and presumably that had contaminated the corridor. Tram B leaves from right outside hotel (end of line)and takes you into city centre within 1/2 hour - Get off at L’Opera stop for the cathedral. Ticket machines are at the tram stops and take cards or coins(good way to get rid of the last of holiday change!) It was about €1:90 each way. Don’t forget to validate your ticket, tap it against the machine onboard the tram.

The hotel is clean and has good amenities. There is a water fountain with still and sparkling water and plastic cups for you to use. In the evening they also had candy out on the breakfast bar to snack on- loved that idea after a long day of travelling! The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is just outside of Reims but has secure parking and you can walk to the Polyclinique tram stop which takes you either to the Champagne-Ardennes TGV station or into the city itself. We definitely plan on coming to Reims again and will stay here again.

Booked as a group of six en route through France. Rooms were of the usual decent quality with a good shower and comfortable bed. No restaurant but there was a good all you can eat Chinese about 10 minutes up the road. Not the fault of the hotel but what left a sour taste was that two new BMW motorcycles belonging to a couple of guys on the first night of their European tour were stolen from outside the front of the hotel overnight. While the main vehicle gate to the car park was accessible only with a pass card the side entrance behind hotel reception was wide open. It's not secure parking. The signs make it clear that parking is unguarded but that doesn't make the theft of two expensive bikes any more palatable.

It's a budget hotel, so you don't expect much. You allow for the tiny room, the budget-style bed arrangement, the small bathroom etc. but the bathroom could use a touch of paint and some maintenance as there were some broken fittings etc. The room was exactly as we expected (travelling through, arrived 9pm, just wanted a quiet place with a comfy bed, and that's what we got). The big let down was breakfast. It was a sad baguette on a broken cutting board, some slices of brown bread, a few butter pats, and some cream cheese. There was zero effort put into the breakfast. With a little attention, the experience would have been 1000% improved. Reception staff were very friendly.

Great stay over this year. Good friendly welcome. Family rooms were booked were clean and spacious. Convenient place to stay over when returning from the south of france or norther italy. For us this year, it's much improved and would stay again.

Stop off on the way to Italy. Super friendly staff. Spoke English but graciously answered me in my bad french !. Hotel on a large business park with fast food plan, cinema bowling. Rooms comfortable. We had breakfast which was very good with plenty of options .good safe parking.
