Excellent
GGuest UserReason for poor service. Room service ordered through portal, confirmation received through portal and email waited for over half an hour after requested time messaged restaurant twice no response. Then messaged front desk inly then to receive a call to say no room service that night an to come down to the bar if I want to. We had travelled for many hours and just wanted to relax in our room. So we did not bother with any refreshments. I think you may need to look this, it’s not good to let guests order and get confirmation for a service you are not providing that day. Maybe look at your processes.
GGuest UserOverall: 6/10 Staff: 9/10 Price: 8/10 Location (to sights): 8/10 Transit: 8/10 Room: 6/10 Common Areas: 6/10 Restaurant/ Bar: 9/10 Vibe (community): n/a Really enjoyed my stay at other hostels from this company and this one should have been just as good but there’s some things i just can’t put aside… First off, the hostel is dirty. Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

Very Good
KKASIM DZHEMILThe location is right in the center of Colmar, right in front of the well-known Christmas tree and toys, the rooms are very stylish, the reception is very attentive, and information was given about the facilities of Colmar. If I went again, I would stay there without hesitation. Thanks.
GGuest UserWe never stayed in an Adagio before but if they are all like this….. We had no water in the room on the first afternoon and were not told when we checked in. The room was very small and had a smelly carpet. One of the lights in the bathroom was broken. My reading light was half loose from the wall. The bathroom was terrible, old and with stains. To park the car you need a code for the gate. When you arrive one person needs to go to reception to get this while the other needs to stay double parked outside on a very busy street. What a horrible system. Checking in took very long because the reception took a phone call the middle of it. Very rude. There is no cleaning, only after a stay if a week or more. There was only one roll of toilet paper. How does this work when you stay longer? The airconditioning only goes as low as 24 degrees and shuts off when you open a door or window. It does not go on automatically, you need to turn it on yourself. This was nowhere described in the room. The location is not too great either. 15 minutes walk to petit France and 30 minutes to the cathedral.
We stayed here for 1 night as visiting basel as we were told it's cheaper to stay in France but when you add up the cost of travel it doesn't add up. My advise stay in basel and get a basel card as if you stay in a basel city hotel you get a basel card which gives you free travel on trams and buses and discount to museums We paid 50 pounds to stay here 1 night on a Saturday night but had we payed 100 pounds to stay at hotel in basel we would of been around £20 quid better off as we used trams busses and visited museums. Hotel is literally 1 minutes walk from the border of France and Switzerland can't miss it. The hotel is very basic small double bed quite hard but fine and little kitchen in same room. Bathroom was ok but like the room needs updating. Shower was fine pressure ok and water was hot. Never ate at breakfast so couldn't comment. Pool at hotel but never used so again can't comment. Check in wasn't great as door to place is locked so had to ring intercom for ages to get in.. The receptionist in the morning was helpful and polite. We got a coffee and a pastry from coffee shop nearly opposite the hotel. We got a cab from hotel for 17 euro to three countries bridge which we crossed from France into Germany then across another bridge back into Switzerland.
I stayed one night at this hotell. The rooms was nice and clean but the restaurant was terrible. The menu indicated fine dining, and we orderd a 3 course menu with redvine in hope to have a nice evening., The food was not prepared well and the service of the staff was very bad, they seemed to have given up on life. They forgot several of our orders, served us ice cold red wine and bad tasting drinks. We could not even drink our pina colada, and that should be a pretty standard drink. I have never experienced so bad service and food at a restaurant before, and the whole evening was comical.
Recently I have stayed at severarl of the well known French hotel chains and find this so much better. Those competitor places tend to offer just the bare minimum and have very small rooms where you just can't relax properly. First of all the location is great. You are steps away from the train station, and about 2 mins walk from a couple of good restaurants including a good Italian restaurant and the 'Au Bureau' pub/Brasserie. The rest of the restaurants are about 5 min (by foot) beyond that. I was in a single room, and it seems a good size for one person. The rooms and especially the bothrooms have been recently renovated, which I appreciated. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There is no 'bar' as such but the front desk does have two beers on tap! There is a terrace out back that I've seen from my window. .A few people have mentioned that the hotel does not have it's own dedicated parking. But you can park for free on the streets around the Square de la Bourse, near the hotel from 7pm to until 9am. If you are only staying overnight this might work perfectly. And if you arrive earlier or are checking out later, you can pay for a couple of hours. Can be paid by phone or at the machines. If you are staying a few days or would like 24 parking, there is also a private car park 500m away that the front desk will tell you about.
During our three week Christmas Market trip to Germany we decided to rent a car for a few days and head to some in France. We left accommodations for a couple of the days til day of as we weren’t sure where we’d want to spend more time, etc. Upon searching one night we found space here and it was a decent distance from both Strasbourg & Colmar and appeared to be relatively new. When we arrived the person at the front desk was very nice, we received a bag of cookies and two drink tickets which we were able to use for some mulled wine. The bar/lounge area was quite comfortable and well decorated. We had booked the last room, one of their quad rooms, which was incredibly spacious.. it was only the two of us but 4 would have had more than enough space. The bathroom was a bit small in comparison but plenty of vanity space to get ready, brand new hair dryer provided, plenty of towels, good sized shower and the water pressure was some of the best i’ve had at a hotel. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of outlet space and hangars if you need to hang any clothes. The price was a little higher than we’d usually pay for our B&B hotel stays but with booking last minute and including breakfast we thought it was very reasonable. We actually enjoyed our nights stay so much we asked if there was any availability for another night after breakfast. Unfortunately it was booked but now we know if in the area it’s somewhere we would definitely stay again!
YYukinoThe amenities were my favorite NUXE, and I personally was a tick.
It was a late time to arrive at a single stay, so I chose it as close to Strasbourg station as much as possible, but Google Maps was a little scared to be guided through narrow and dark roads i did.
There were many shops around UberEats and it was perfect.
It was a short stay time, so it was like a very narrow business hotel in Japan and there was a feeling of cleanliness, so it was enough for me to consider it as a French hotel.
I'm sorry if there is a little memory difference because I stayed 3 months ago.
リリセイデンI understand that this is a backpacker's hotel for an overnight stay, so I expect that the hotel will be near the highway and understand that I need to walk on the dark road for about 1km to get there, but at least, they need to let the guest enter the lobby first.
I arrived at the hotel at around midnight, the receptionist was away, nobody was at the desk and the work was outsourced to somebody working remotely with the intercom at the front of the building. The hotel implemented a new checking system using a check-in machine, which will need a code in the confirmation email. However, the code was nowhere to be found wherever in the trip.com app or the confirmation email of mine.
More frustratingly, the reception clerk had a very strong French accent in his English, so we couldn't understand each other clearly. In the end, a kind gentleman went down smoking and helped me communicate with them in French, solving my issue. If he wasn't there, I would probably have got locked outside for the night. This is unbelievable.
This is a very unpleasant experience. I'm writing to tell other international tourists to stay away from this place, if you can't solve these issues like me.
