Best Vega de Granada Hotels

Fue una auténtica pesadilla. Llegamos sobre las 15.30 horas y nos asignaron el bungalow 9. Hacia frío, la calefacción no estaba encendida, quisimos poner el aire con bomba de calor y no funcionaba, daba error E2 y cada 10 minutos se apagaba, asi que nos cansamos y nos arropamos con la manta que había sobre la cama. Al poco rato me picaban las piernas así que me destapé y estaba llena de pelos de perro, me bajé el pantalón y estaba llena de sarpullido y picaduras. Fuimos a mirar la cama y no tenía ni sábanas, llamamos para pedir unas y que nos cambiasen la manta pulgosa, y ese cambio nunca se produjo. Quisimos ducharnos para intentar reducir el picor y sorpresa, tampoco había agua caliente. Pagamos 105€ por una noche, lo mínimo que pedimos es limpieza y desinfección del bungalow, pero sobre todo de la ropa de cama. A las 22.30 horas viendo las malas condiciones del bungalow y la falta de soluciones decidimos volvernos a nuestra casa, a 200 km, perdiendo las actividades programadas para el día siguiente. Para colmo 4 días después seguimos con sarpullido y picaduras y hemos tenido que desinfectar toda la casa por temor de habernos traido pulgas o cualquier otro bicho en la maleta. Por cierto, la alfombra que hay bajo la mesa estaba super sucia y olía realmente mal. NUNCA MÁS. Por supuesto, queremos poner hoja de reclamaciones, pero cuando nos fuimos no había nadie y ahora nos ponen trabas, pero no lo vamos a dejar pasar. Esto no debería de volverle ocurrir a nadie. Estoy embarazada era un fin de semana para desconectar en pareja y nos han fastidiado, es igual que si nos hubieran estafado.

The front desk of the hotel is very professional and enthusiastic, and actively informs some tourist matters, travel route suggestions, etc., including the parking ticket can be discounted when it is stamped for picking up the car, and it can be discounted (it seems to be around 13 Euro after the discount). After the formalities are completed, we will be very enthusiastic to lead us to the hotel-style apartments on the opposite side of the road, about 200 meters away. Fortunately, the roads are not tired. Opposite the airport line station. 3. The apartment is located on the top floor and can be seen across the top of the cathedral with a small balcony. There is a larger guest restaurant and open kitchen, complete appliances, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, etc.; the bedroom is quite big, the bathroom is not enough. The overall is very clean and quite secure. 4. There is a supermarket restaurant coffee shop nearby. There is a vegetable and fruit shop and a butcher shop in the same way as ours. In fact, we found that there was an indoor vegetable market on the first floor of the previous parking lot. I knew that it would be big. More rich in Chinese stomach. Across the road is a commercial pedestrian street that forms around the cathedral. It is very lively, shopping and eating are good. 5. With the 6-year-old child, we still walked the viewing platform and the palace on foot, so the location of the apartment is convenient for the attraction.

We had a wonderful experience at the Gran Via. The rooms were impeccable; over a couple of different stays in December & January, we tried a regular room as well as the suites, all were lovely. I particularly recommend the junior suite with the mural on the ceiling (room #6), it was a really special room. The spa & hammam were small but really nice, a perfect way to decompress after work, skiing in the Sierra, etc. The location of the hotel is very central to the Granada cathedral area, as well as the Albaicin. Walkable to many restaurants, bars, & tourist sites. And the rooftop has beautiful views of the cathedral and the Alhambra. What really stood out is the service. The staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make us feel welcome & comfortable. Would definitely stay at the Gran Via again next time I'm in Granada.

I’m sorry to deduct stars for this hotel as there is much about it to enjoy and we did. The concierge was very helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable and it’s a great location for the city but ……. 1. Having a roof top bar is an asset. We were encouraged by the reception staff to visit it as it has stunning views. I asked if you had to book and was told no, open from 7. It does have stunning views as we discovered when we went up there but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday! Why? It’s peak tourist season and we were encouraged to go up there ! Very disappointing. 2. The breakfast buffet was good but there was only one person clearing and laying tables and making sure supplies were replenished. There were queues for bread, juice , bacon and eggs. It was 9am. Shame as it’s a great location .

The service is OK. The room has a capsule coffee machine and a kettle. There are no slippers. I forgot whether there are toiletries. The room I was given is super big. It is a long strip. The entrance is the living room with sofas, TV, etc. Going inside is the bedroom, and further inside is the bathroom. The whole side is glass doors and windows. Yes, it is a door that can be opened. Is it safe? The room is about one meter above the ground. There is an iron guardrail on the outside of the glass doors and windows about two meters above the ground! The doors and windows cannot be opened from the outside. Unless the glass is broken. There is an alley outside the glass doors and windows, and a restaurant opposite. The glass doors and windows have basically no sound insulation. The picture was taken outside the glass doors and windows of the room in the alley.

The Inglaterra was a great deal and pretty good overall. We were too early to check in so left our bags and walked around town. I did notice a strong cleaning fluid smell in the lobby which wasn't pleasant, but this is something I notice more often in all sorts of places. It's nice that it's clean but overly clean isn't good either. In any case, we opted for a higher floor to get a view of the Alhambra which was nice. It's a bit of a pain carrying your bags up and down but not a big deal to tack on the stairs after the elevator otherwise. We did have a small issue with a couple random bugs on our beds but the people were nice about it and the cleaners turned our place upside down, ended up being no big deal. Internet was fine. We didn't have any breakfast but took advantage of the bakery and many eating places in the immediate area.
